Yeah he was high as hell for the majority of these songs off Encore 😄 There's a few interviews and submissions from Em himself on Genius saying that he doesn't even remember recording some lol. I'm happy for his sobriety now. He did give us some gems when he was high though!
One of the first Eminem videos outside Lose Yourself I saw and made me fell in love with him immediately with that hilarious ass intro. His ability to laugh at himself has always been his best coping mechanism. _"Have you kissed 50 Cent with that mouth!?"_ gets me every time.

Some obvious shots at Michael Jackson, Peewee Herman etc. but as far as I know most of the women references are just the women who were considered in and hottest at the time, not any real beefs. I could be wrong, memory is tricky and it was some time ago.
