If I found out that a man claiming to be a woman came into a locker room with my wife in it, it would be the last room other than a morgue that he would enter. I would gladly go to jail, but I would eventually get out, he would never enter a woman's room again. This has to stop. Along the same lines I stopped working in women's shelter's because of this BS. Back in 2014 staff where I worked (in Toronto Canada) had to let a trans woman in and "she" then sexually assaulted a woman (he did the same at another shelter) who we took in to help her escape from an abusive marriage. Imagine being a battered woman and now when you go to a shelter you can be targeted there as well. So much for shelters being a safe space for victims. Now last month there's another case in Windsor.
There are cases of this here in the UK too. One woman was refused post rape care in a shelter because she didn't want a trans identified man as her counselor. She was the one kicked out. Shame on Scottish rape crisis for not protecting women who have been violated by men.

I’m a liberal gay guy and I agree with you! Separate gender spaces are important to maintain and have existed through history for good reasons ! I feel uncomfortable in gender neutral bathrooms as well. They’re disgusting. This isn’t even a liberal-conservative issue, it’s common sense and basic decency.

If I found out that a man claiming to be a woman came into a locker room with my wife in it, it would be the last room other than a morgue that he would enter. I would gladly go to jail, but I would eventually get out, he would never enter a woman's room again. This has to stop. Be whatever you want to call yourself, but respect the bounderies that have been established a long time ago.
And the years of stories of people committing violence just has never managed to sink in.
Along the same lines I stopped working in women's shelter's because of this BS. Back in 2014 staff where I worked (in Toronto Canada) had to let a trans woman in and "she" then sexually assaulted a woman (he did the same at another shelter) who we took in to help her escape from an abusive marriage. Imagine being a battered woman and now when you go to a shelter you can be targeted there as well. So much for shelters being a safe space for victims. Now last month there's another case in Windsor.
There are cases of this here in the UK too. One woman was refused post rape care in a shelter because she didn't want a trans identified man as her counselor. She was the one kicked out. Shame on Scottish rape crisis for not protecting women who have been violated by men.
That's awful. When I was in high schol 40 years ago, a male student went into the girls bathroom and attacked a girl, she took a razor and sliced his testicles. I keep pepper spray on me.
And he can probably sue you for slander because you reported him of sexually assaulting her to the police

Legal cases need to be mounted to go up to the Supreme Court to stop this nonsense.
