I was an avid Paint Tool SAI user but once I discovered Krita, I never wanted to go back. There was a huge learning curve of course- but it was worth it because the program has everything I ever needed. And it’s free too! Bless you all for creating it. I wouldn’t know what to do without it.
fantastic brushes!... an unattainable level of realistic behavior!.. thank you!!! It would be great to bring other classic materials to this level... for example, sanguine, sepia and Conte pencil
I've fooled around on PS for a few decades. About a week ago (So i'm still learning) I decided to give Krita a try... I Love it! Now it might be time to upgrade my old Intuos pro to a nice Huion or xpen display....
I'm really grateful for Krita and its community, it's made my transition to linux so much less painful. As a long time user of windows programs like painter and photoshop, I've found Krita to be on par with them.
It feels like a blur, but one day I woke up and most of the expensive tools in my workflow were replaced with Krita. Thanks for this wonderful program, it even gave me the push I needed to make a full switch to Linux!

These are great brushes. I love the fact that without changing the brush you can create both lines, fill larger areas and shade using only pressure and tilt controls. It feels very natural and I look forward to using these in some pieces.
Thank you Ramon for all your hardwork. I heartily appreciate your sincere involvement and dedication. It really takes a lot of heart to share what you experience.
Thanks for this video, Ramon. You made me appreciate charcoal brushes even more. Just downloaded both the brush bundle and the paper texture. Can't wait to try them later.

Great video! I'm going to try the charcoal brushes, I've been waiting for them for a long time. Thank you!
Im excited to try. Thanks again for all yall have done with Krita! Im used to real charcoal so it should be interesting trying a digital form, but yall have done an amazing job with the other brushes already released so i expect this will be too. A lot less messy ! Haha and a beautiful portrait you made here.
isnt krita just the best i love it and Im not even an artist but I love messing around and the charcoals are brilliant I even catch myself blowing the dust away!! lol WOW I love your charcoal drawings this is something for me to aspire to
Hi broooo, i was using the charcoal brushes they are awesome :3 just one thing when you mix them with another brushes and try to pick the value it gets brighter each time i pick a value, just that but the work so good using just charcoal :3 thank you for your work
Excelente tutorial ! Explicar el comportamiento del carboncillo en forma análoga no sólo deja en claro la gran posibilidad expresiva de esta técnica sino también el increible desempeño de la herramienta digital. By the way this is an extraordinary sofware , free open source? ,come on guys it couldn´t be better thanks a lot Krita. !!
Gracias por tu comentario. Esa era la intención. Y que los artistas de Krita puedan tener un set que les ayude a practicar estudios de figura, retrato, un trazo suelto y texturizado. I am glad you like them, and yes Krita is open source and the development is based on community so everybody can contribute a bit in different ways. //RM
I am going into the Charcoals right now ... I've got Pencil and Charcoal Experience so I'll know soon if I like it or now... I will follow up with you on my Experience.
This brushes are amazing!! Thank you so much. hope you also make brushes like dry brushes, chalks, crayons, gouche, pastels, like texture brushes. Yayy thanks!!
Thank's for this very interesting video. I'm using charcoals for many times and i want utilising it in Krita 5. I'm using Linuxmint lmde 5. I'm looking for the brushes and paper you give but I can't download them. Thank's for the help !
I have a problem whenever i change from brush to earser and again to brush i have to reselect the color or else it will keep on erasing even though i have selected brush.
Can you guys add save for web option similar to photoshop? The current export doesn't let me change the resolution. It's a bit annoying having to change the canvas and then exporting.
If you are new in Krita you will enjoy also all the videos because 4.4.1 have added advanced features . Newcomers are not affected by this changes. enjoy the channel. ;) //RM
Thank you Ramon! This is unbelievable. Thanks for the brushes and the paper !!! - at 90 degrees angle to the surface, the "Charcoal 02 Pencil-SoftGrain" has almost no strength and is almost white color, although it should be the other way around. It actually should be thin and very dense at this angle. - Do you also have more types of paper available? Thanks again!
But i can't update my krita, ive tried to update it to the new version but it made my pen has no pressure, so i back to my old krita :") i used krita that i download i think around 2017-2018
You can ask for help in krita-artists.org There are a lot of people there even Devs that can help you. Take into account you need to provide technical info

Great rushes, but an even better portrait Ramon! Thank you for sharing. I love the texture and contrast of charcoal. Thanks again.

Why don't you explain how to install this in Krita???
Hey Rolf, check out this video, it explains how to import the bundle
ruclips.net/video/FxjCk-yTIzI/видео.html
I hope this charcoal and RGBA brushes come as Krita default brushes in the next update so that we don't have to download the extra brushes
We have that in mind. Thanks for the feedback //RM
Amazing video. I think its amazing. I don't know of a software that do this so well. It will be amazing in Krita.
Thank's for this very interesting video. I'm using charcoals for many times and i want utilising it in Krita 5. I'm using Linuxmint lmde 5. I'm looking for the brushes and paper you give but I can't download them.

I love the fact that he's using inkscape c:
Love it! Can I ask, where to get that sketch paper? I like that Rough Paper Textures.
how were you able to achieve the paper-looking canvas?
How do you add the brushes to krita?
docs.krita.org/en/reference_manual/resource_management.html#managing-resources
Can you bring back pressure senitivity on the surface line
Don't be sorry about the noise, krita should make those beautifull noises :D
Can you guys add save for web option similar to photoshop? The current export doesn't let me change the resolution. It's a bit annoying having to change the canvas and then exporting.
I take note of that for the next meeting round table. I have to verify if is already in the roadmap :D //RM
can someone tell me how to import it to krita or how to work in krita after i download it? :D
please can you make a video talking about krita 4.4.1 ver ? because I m new at krita
If you are new in Krita you will enjoy also all the videos because 4.4.1 have added advanced features . Newcomers are not affected by this changes. enjoy the channel. ;) //RM

I love krita
The one thing I really want in Krita is a audio time line and more audio features for animation
Animation is important, but that feature takes time and lot of knowledge. Be sure Krita is working hard in lot of fields //RM
@@KritaOrgPainting Thanks for responding :)
