wow, i remember also the moment i tested it. and was amazing too. It was like we can break the written rules and and dream with more power.
i'm exited to test those updates soon! thank you for sharing this with us and making krita better and better! :D also thank you for feature one of my artworks :D
For a while I've been using Warp and Cage to make adjustments when sketching. This combined with the Distort Move brush preset makes correcting/modifying quick and easy and gives my brain a rest.
thank you so much for this video . is really helpful .thank you so much all beautiful mind friends create Krita for every one and make more free mind people from big corporation
Krita is helping a lot of people and wants to be even bigger. The Fund campaign has started for all the people who wants to help. krita.org/en/item/join-the-new-development-fund/ //RM
@@TheKevphil Mesh transform is not that advanced, it's also very slow. You can't split the mesh with additional segments, you can't select multiple nodes and manipulate them, there are no bezier control points and segment edge/border manipulation etc. It needs some work and love for sure.
@@TheMemagNeman You mean in CSP? Yes, that's what I said. Krita is better. In both cases, a PSD-style *Liquify* would be very nice. (BTW: in CSP, you *_can_* control the number of segments, though that usually just makes things *_harder_* to control.)
@@TheKevphil Yes CSP. Undoubtedly Krita has more advanced deformation than CSP mesh transform. I think Liquify is coming to CSP soon. Controlling segments in CSP is not as interactive and customizable as it's in Krita, for example I can't add a custom position split like at @8:50 . It's just so slow to use. I wish CSP had something like the deformation above. Good job Krita devs, very cool tools.
Amazing tool - it's pretty intuitive, versatile, fast and (that knocks out many other tools) it can handle very large files - I love it! Wish I had found it earlier :-) It would be a nice additional feature if the mesh parameters could be saved as presets so they can be used on multiple images. I use this tool to straighten distorted photos of pages from archival files and books and for most consecutive pages the same mesh shape could be used. Thanks to all developers for this great work!
Krita is the best alternative software for Photoshop but there's something not available in krita Please complete the layer style features in next update.
Wow, new tools! But honestly, i don't have idea what is the tool use for in digital painting. Next time please demonstrate on the digital painting work 👍
confused. what version of krita is this in? i have the latest version (4.4.1), but the tool is not there. do i need to uninstall and re-install to get the feature? thanks. love krita.
Happy Christmas Krita! Something really great! But there is something that bothers me is the fact the control Z makes undo to view layer or create laywer or other things that doesn't affect the artwork...
Nowadays, is not implemented. MAybe with more users demanding that feature...who knows. What are you trying to modify? i am curious. Maybe there is another way to get the desired result. What about publishing in krita-artists.org and quote me there? //RM
You can already import the abr files but that means you import the brushtips, not the brushes, why? Because abr is a closed and private file format, you need time and funds to make inverse engineering and write the code and do test. If The owner company opens the code that would be really easier. So ask them 😏 //RM
When I tried to buy brushes my credit card was declined and the bank said that the link was red flag. And when I went to download an older version of krita bitdefender antivirus block the page. So.. what's going on guys?

Hi Angga, did you know that Krita is native for Linux? It has some default functions for OpenGL drivers that are present in basically every product that uses a gpu unless they're microsoft. If you're using Krita on Windows, have you checked the canvas acceleration (settings, display)? If not, please do and check if the current renderer is DirectX, if it isn't then change it. This should fix your problem.
Ok, you are discovering yet Krita😊. Krita can clip mask for example. You have also transparency masks and clone layers, fill layers, you can do a lot of things. If you press F1 inside krita you go directly to the manual. I hope that helps you. Maybe with a different name but Krita has a lot of features. If you explain better what do you need, then I can redirect to something specific. //RM
not everybody is being familiar with this matter and not everybody is English speaking. and for a video with short instructions (not only a overview or a announcement) 15 minutes aren't very long.
Indeed, even for advanced artists, this video shows how several aspects of Krita's mesh are better developed than Photoshop's mesh. Which is quite impressive. The sliding of grid lines is very good and useful. You can treat textures over a "3D" surface very similar to when doing actual 3D works.
@@eyeodin8259 The man's native language is Spanish (just like mine), and even not taking that in consideration, he wins nothing with these works... If x2 is still too slow for you, you can go skipping parts (I do that a lot in other channels), or hitting "->" key or L to skip every 5 / 10 seconds, respectively (I also do that with other creators). All that obviously damages the "watch time" stat for him and so his YT positioning, though (2x doesn't). Which would be kind of ungrateful from us towards his hard work and generosity. I suspect he is a teacher (I think I watched a video in which he told such), and so, seems to speak to every kind of individual... Not just the fast learners or experienced artists. It's a professional habit, so to speak.
I hope you guys get as big as the Blender Foundation 😄..
Happy Christmas to you and the team 👍🏽🎇

Fantastic tool! Krita devs did a great job here
Thanks, I will investigate it more. Maybe the team is busy with another things. More funds more time for coding, you know.
Nice update, very useful feature!
Thank you so much for this very detailed tutorial! Very very useful 👍👍👍
I always wait for new updated Krita😅 Now I know how to create my own brush in Krita and it helps me a lot with my works.🥰
Clip Studio Paint has this feature, or at least it has the same name. But this is MUCH easier and more flexible to use!
Which feature is that?

Wow, new tools! But honestly, i don't have idea what is the tool use for in digital painting. Next time please demonstrate on the digital painting work 👍
Paint a 2d texture head on, create an object, and deform your texture onto the object you drew so you dont need to draw a texture IN perspective.
Amazing! But how to drag mesh nodes precisely, vertically or horizontally by a few pixels, for example?
Would it be possible to use this feature to straighten an already distorted image?
I don't get the difference of transformation/uses for the warp, cage and now mesh?? Ok in the cage mode you can set you own boundaries but ehhh??
Awesome!

Hi - is this available in the latest nightly build or in the main 4.4.1 itself?
The latest stable version is actually 4.4.1
Now the latest nightly build stable version is 4.4.3 as of today.
And yes, the latest stable nightly build has the functionality.

Hi can anyone help? I want to save transparent PNG like I do on pc, I check the box but it colours it black?
try disabling the lower layers up to the background then export to PNG

Which Krita release are you using? This is available in the last release 4.4.2 , but not in 4.3 for example.
You need to download the Krita beta version that is in the News section.
