Rishikesh, the city of yoga
Well it is "the door of the Himalayas" -which is already suggestive: 2 bridges, a miraculously clean sacred river and mountains framing a fairytale picture. Rishikesh encapsulates all the bohemian and “Peace & Love” energy of the 1960s in a few square kilometers between the Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula areas. The "other part" of Rishikesh, the center, is like any other Indian city: chaotic and raucous.
