  • Been wanting to do a stand-up scooter build, just to change things up from my usual Razor MX650 / MX500 projects. Luckily I got a generous donation from @Flex-E-Moto (Jacson Crider) so I can start another build for y'all. In this video, I'll be removing all the factory 24V Drivetrain components and converting this scooter to run on a 52V Brushless hub motor.
    Everything used on this project (So Far):
    . Razor E325 24V Electric Scooter: amzn.to/44zyZbR
    . Razor E300 (Same Thing): amzn.to/46XBCpt
    . 10" 48V 500W Hub Motor w/Tire: ebay.us/6PdF4i
    . 48V 1800W Brushless Controller: ebay.us/tdPmDE
    . Twist Throttle w/Key Lock: amzn.to/3KknCN0
    . CYCPLUS GPS Speedometer: amzn.to/44GY3O7
    . TOBWOLF MTB Mechanical Disc Brake: amzn.to/3q443Sa
    . Skateboard Grip Tape: amzn.to/43PshNR
    . Super Bright LED Handlebar Light: amzn.to/44O3MSc
    . 52V 20AH 50A Lithium Battery (One I Used): amzn.to/44L9MeI
    . 52V 20AH 50A (Alternative Option): amzn.to/3OA6rt9

      Hmm I don't have experience with pocket mods OR this hub motor. We'll see.. at least the MY1020 you can swap out sprocket sizes if you want to alter the speed. It is what it is with a hub motor

    Nice build i did build one to but with a mobility scooter I added a 800w hub motor and a 52v battery it goes 65 kmph but i had the same controller as you it is a square wave and it made a very high vibration on startup and the hub motor was heating up very fast i changed the controller to a sine wave one and it takes longer now before my motor heads-up.

      @PatOutdoors nothing whatsoever. 50x54 amps is not pushing the envelope whatsoever. If you ran 2 hub motors? It would be x7 the acceleration. I built a 40kw footscooter but had to turn it down to 28kw because it was too violent in acceleration. I'm using 4ga welding wires and 175amp anderson. I love Anderson connectors ! Rated @ 600volt ! Be careful on that tiny monster bro. I love the repurpose builds !

    • @PatOutdoors
      @PatOutdoors  7 месяцев назад +1

      Hmm this is probably because there is very limited space for a decent battery on this frame. I actually don't recommend going over 30 MPH on this scooter anyway since no suspension. It gets sketchy over 25

      What do you mean by vevor sets? Like the tiny front sprocket on the my1020 motor? Yeah, I’ve done it in (4) previous videos. I haven’t done a sprocket upgrade for a rear sprocket though

    • @PatOutdoors

      The nut on the motor shaft is reverse-threaded. counter-clockwise to tighten, clockwise to loosen. 10mm wrench to hood the shaft in place, 12mm wrench for the lock nut.

    Hey man great work but what would you charge to modify a razor scooter or something like that ?

    • @PatOutdoors
      @PatOutdoors  11 месяцев назад

      Are you in the northern VA area? It's quite expensive to ship these scooters back and forth.. It really depends what kind of performance you are looking for. Some 72V batteries alone can cost north of $900, while you can get simple 48V batteries for $400. But then you have to consider the motor / controller / throttle / time to strip the bike down and modify it to fit the new stuff. Short answer is.. it really depends what you need and what model of Razor it is.
