Finally someone who has a lift and wheels. Been looking to modify my own cherokee, except its a 2021, so I'm a little limited on items I can start with. otherwise this looks great!
Which kit did you go with? I've heard the Trailhawk basically has a 1" lift over the base Cherokee so I was wondering if you actually made a 2" gain or just 1?
@@neilflowers2859 I have a 2 inch tough country lift with 18 inch rims on 33s it added an extra 4 inches or so. It cost me about 2k for all said and done.
Just a question about cutting the frame of the Jeep to fit bigger tires. Isn't cutting the frame a bad thing and mess with safety and overall strength of the frame?
Just got a 2019 Trail Hawk…. So many features that I’m not used to 😅 I went from a 07’ grand Cherokee that is just stock (my mom car lol) and a 95 grand Cherokee that I put a bunch of cool stuff on. I’m excited to find stuff to do to put on the new one.
hey, know this is a year late and you might not respond but ive straight piped my cherokee too lol, from takin the res and muffler off and now i just want the res on and have a y pipe to a dual exit but those black pipes you have look custom bent, do you know if i can get those online or do i have to get them done by a shop, id rather do it myself with clamps or welds and not have to bend the pipes but yea let me know if you have an idea where i can get those pipes from, id love to slap em on my cherokee
Nice vid, I'm going through the same problem in the rear on my AD1. I made my own centering kit to but it didn't help much, I'm working on a fix to center better. I'm lifted 2" in front and 3" in back and on 32.1" tires. How did you end up fixing the camber issue?
I still have very minimal camber and I really haven’t found a way to fix it. I just have the two inch lift in the front with the 1.5 inch spacers aswell and then I just 2” in the back and that seemed to have solved it for the most part
So this mean with lift camber in rear is normal ? I have heard every thing goes back to just normal with MFC 2 inch lift .. could you please verify camber is just with Hazard sky ?
hey man. question. i want to lift my kl also! was just thinking about going for rough country lift cause it’s cheap and i’m doing it for the esthetic more. no off roading. you think it’d be fine? why do both companies for lift? just curious.
Do not NOT go rough country, KL forums all suggest to just buck down and go to MFCOFFROAD and get the 2” or 2.5” kit. Has the most detailed “what works for your KL trim package” out there. If you didn’t go with MFC the first time, you have to eventually piece together different company lifts because they each offer something better than the other. The MFC kit is the best one out there.
Exactly what he said and I went with both lifts just so I can have a brand new redone suspension that’s meant for off-road and a little bit more ground clearance with the body lift. I went hazardsky for the body lift and haven’t had any issues. MFC just came out with an 2.5” lift for the AD1 a couple days ago so that’s probably your best bet and I’d go with that!
Awesome man. I just bought a 18 Cherokee overland and can’t wait to put a 2inch lift, new rims and tires and a rack on top with a light bar. Mine has active drive and weird to get used too. Lol but my headlights are bright. Fog lights not so much. I have had it a month and just tinted the front windows. It is all white so I call it my storm trooper haha. I will add you my name is dethzero83 in Instagram
He’s not wasting his money, he likes it a lot obviously so it’s worth it to him. It’s not worth it to you so it’s a waste for you, but for him it’s worth the money

Buy a truck
I have a 2015 trailhawk cherokee
2 inch lift kit with 33" inch mud tred tries its beautiful and will go anywhere a truck will go.

Nah man. Just look up "pinch weld mod"
Sweet set up, just don't understand the exhaust on an offroad built jeep
i got a magnaflow exaust on my 2016 cherokee (v6) and it sounds good, not too loud but not too quiet, tbh yours is comedy loud for a cherokee😂😂
Looking forward to more build videos. I want a Gobi rack so I'm really interested in that install vid.
Me too due to covid the stuff is going to take literally forever to get here so I’m hoping it doesn’t take to long
My head lights are horrible also. Thanks for the upload and the info.
Can I get a link for your buys?
Hey! Do you have skid plates on there? Metal, Plastic? Did they come on it, or wj where did you get them?

The piping was all custom from a shop. As far as I know the tips are off a ram 1500 but other than that everything else is custom.
Great build but I think you would have been fine with just spacers in the rear.
About to do all of this to my 2015 blackhawk
Are you planning on riding trails and going into forests with a load sounding muffler?
Can someone tell me a good lift kit to get for my jeep cherokee kl
A 265/65-17 tire = about 30.5 inches. Not close to a 32 inch tire.
Dude, you have AD1/2 in that KL
Kinda sounds like a what not to do to my Cherokee.but then again I bought a real trailhawk so I didn’t have to pretend.

What kind of Exaust should I put in my 2014 v6 Cherokee to get that sound?
Dose it matter or I can put any exuast?
Should have gone with 245/75r17 they are 31.5 inches in height while the 265/65r17 are only 30 inches but hey.

Legal pipe without muffler
I don’t think so
bruh this is so beautiful wow 🤩 😳
Thank you!

Awesome man good luck with the build!
Very nice car ❤️
Quit calling it a car it’s a JEEP
Another noisemaker, wasting your money!
He’s not wasting his money, he likes it a lot obviously so it’s worth it to him. It’s not worth it to you so it’s a waste for you, but for him it’s worth the money
Noise pollution and noisemakers not needed, fines will follow! No waste on me.
