    Love the build. I am working on setting mine up for overland. But it’s crazy how similar our two are. I’m about to get the sliders and diff cover as well.

      @@FearlessTrailhawk it will for sure. I have to really watch what I’m doing now and pick a hood line because one slip and it’s a lot of damage.

    Nice setup! I've got. '19 Cherokee Trailhawk and have done similar mods. Got the Nilight pods, 2" lift, Midlands MXT275, MyMedic first aid kit, soft and hard shackles, Rhino kinetic recovery rope, and a 6 panel switch for my accessories

      The one thing i havent gotten yet is a kinetic rope, bit i haven't needed it yet as gentle pulls have mostly worked, but i know its just a matter of time.

    Nice and very functional mods! I love how you cut the spare tire trunk door and repurposed it as a gear bin. Great use of the space.

    Always love watching your vids. Question: Are the Dobinsons HD springs in the rear too stiff? Would you do anything different if you were to add another lift, like go with a 3" lift? Thx and keep up the great vids

    • @FearlessTrailhawk
      @FearlessTrailhawk  Год назад +2

      I like the rear just how it is. 🤷 And hell no, i would not want to do mor than a 2.5" lift. I burn trough CVs every 1.5 years almost..almost considering dropping it a bit to maybe get a little more longevity out of them.

      @FearlessTrailhawk Extensively researched everything MFC and the like... max cv angles ... i plan to do 30.5's~ 31's so i can run my quick snow chains still and just the regular Dobinsons kit with mcf 0.5's (overall should be 2 inch with weight)
      I really don't want to do annual cv's.
      (AD1; overland stuff only trimmed bumpers)
      Quick thoughts?

      I did, maybe 3? years ago, spare tire and walk around. Since that video i've reinforced the main bar as it started to bend from the constant weight trying to bounce back and forth. Its held fine since then.

    Curious did you do (or have done) any work to the transmission? This engine has historically had hesitation issues when switching gears and I've noticed that it hasn't gotten much better from the 2016 that I owned and now a 2020 Trailhawk. Thanks in advance and love the ride!!

    • @FearlessTrailhawk
      @FearlessTrailhawk  10 месяцев назад

      Nope. Haven't touched it. Yes there is a lag time for throttle response, but i've gotten used to it amd anticipate it in most situations.

    When you mentioned you now have the Hazard Sky 2” on the front due to the Dobinson springs failing, what springs do you now use with the hazard sky 2”?

    • @FearlessTrailhawk
      @FearlessTrailhawk  Год назад

      The Dobs springs didn't fail, the strut did, so since the Bilsteins strut is shorter i couldn't put the HD springs back on, so i have the regular Dobs springs with the 2" Hazard Sky spacers. I decided to not use the stock springs because of mounting the winch, so the stock springs would have sagged a lot.

    I was looking at the DobinsonHDs for my Trailhawk what happened to yours?

    • @FearlessTrailhawk
      @FearlessTrailhawk  Год назад

      Front Strut piston snapped. It was likely brought on by needing to be a little more aggressive on a trail earlier that week since the 4wd wasn't working. I show a bit of it in my February video.

    Hey did you need any modifications to add the B6 shocks? Or was it direct fitment? Thanks

    • @FearlessTrailhawk
      @FearlessTrailhawk  Год назад

      Bilsteins are a direct stock replacement. No modification need. You also don't need to modify anything for the Dobinsons, or most other aftermarket struts.

    • @FearlessTrailhawk
      @FearlessTrailhawk  Год назад +1

      More people just do the spacers on the stock struts. But once the mopar struts fail, i'd recommend upgrading them to Bilsteins.
