  • In this video we explain in. step-by-step instructions how to replace the battery on the Sony Playstation wireless headphones CUHYA-0080.
In case your headphones need to be recharged constantly or do not charge anymore at all, then it is probably time to replace the battery!
The process is relatively simple and all the tools we need is a small Phillips screwdriver and something to remove a sticker with.
First pull off the cushion of the right ear cup. Underneath we find a sticker with some writing on it. Remove this sticker by peeling it off, starting from one side.
Now remove the three Phillips screws. Then liftoff the speaker, but be careful doing so. The speaker is still connected to the rest of the headphones with. two small wires. Disconnect the wires from the speaker by unplugging them.
Now we also see the connector for the battery. Disconnect this as well.
Now remove the old battery and replace it with the new one. The battery is of type LIP1472 (see link in the comment section below).
Now we reassemble the headphones again and charge the battery before the first use.

Thanks, im not going to replace it but i just wanted to know because my Gold headset won't work because the battery is just broken, idk what to say but it shines red and in the manual that says it means the battery isint working which is true because no matter how long i charge it ( hours and hours) it won't work

I have a problem with my headphones (jbl live 650btnc)and need some guidance if possible. When I enable noise cancellation for some reason a loud buzzing sound is produced by the left ear cup(like an extreme bass sound). It only happens when I have noise cancellation on. The headphones are practically new so is there anything that I can do in order to fix it because it's really annoying

Hi, I created a video about that problem a few years back. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to find it in a quick search. Otherwise I would have posted the link to it here.
