    Hey great video Mark. Made me laugh at the start 🤣 and when you mentioned the mountain goat lol that's what my brother used to call me on the fen banks back in the day lol not so much now. Nice seeing how you tie your single hooks 👍🏻. Unlucky with the no catch but like we say sometimes it's not all about catching its just good to be out . Keep the videos coming really look forward to them . I enjoy doing mine but I'm not to clued-up with the editing 😟🤷‍♂️ lol but I'm getting there lol. Tight lines mate 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

    Relatively new to dead baiting but, have you tried 49 strand wire? Lovely stuff, genuinely is more like a braid (I was sceptical). Also have had good results with circle hooks, all been in the scissors so far, have you tried them? great video, thanks.

      Changed over to single hooks last season, they're all I use now. I'll take a look at the 49 strand Cheers and tight lines 👍🎣

      Thanks for the reply, I saw you were using curved hooks and wondered if you had tried circle hooks and if the results were similar. Cheers.

    Interesting vid Mark. When using the hair rig do you prefer to go into the tail root or head?

    One question : how do you attach fish onto the hair rig? What do you use as a hair stop? Cheers

      Hi Mariusz, I use an extra long splicing needle to attach and a twig or plant stem from the bank as a hair stop, take a look at this video at approx 2:45 in ruclips.net/video/ebPPEyRaejE/видео.html

    Great video as always Mark. Real life fishing! Interested in your single hook hair rigs as seem so much kinder on the pike. Which brand of size 4 hook did you mention? A bit old and forgretful 😁

      I use size 4 curved micro barbed hooks from Mosquito Angling. Very strong, sharp and great value for money

    What do you use as a hair stop for your hair rig

    • @Fishing4Pleasure
      @Fishing4Pleasure  Год назад +1

      Twigs and plant stems on the bank, if none available I carry wooden kebab skewers which I cut to size

    That wire was kinked as you made the rig looks real crap stuff

    • @Fishing4Pleasure
      @Fishing4Pleasure  Год назад +1

      Straightens very easily and after loads of fish on that wire in my opinion far superior to fox or drennan. But hey each to his own
