The injora swamp stomper was on one of the trucks you roasted Trey. They are basically a knockoff of lgrp swamp kings. I have like 2 sets of each size but honestly have not run them enough to give an opinion on them
Just getting into the hobby. Your channel is Gold! Exactly what you want to see, no more no less. Looks i stepped into an aw some community, thanks to all for that. Great holidays and Enjoy, from Holland
Great tutorial; very helpful! I like the Swamp Kings, although I didn't know they came in two sizes; I'll have to look that up. I've seen great reviews about the LGRP Clawhammers too. Nice Inspired banner in the background too!
What a great series you started up. Lots of surprising choices, really peaked my curiosity, trenchers are no surprise, I love my 1.9 trenchers once they got scrubbed in, the 1.0 are just too small for my son's and my builds. LGRP Black Label are a new favorite, they look like BFG Krawlers and they brought my 4ws portal build to what it should have been all along with injora green inserts. Ruptures also no surprise, but they're pricey. I thought I'd see more Injora picks as their S5 compound is super sticky, I love my Swamp Stampers on my Redcat Ascent 18, but they're kinda big for scx24. We now run injora inserts on all our builds, they work well and cost way less than most printed inserts, Flub RC has a choice for just about any tire, but it's hard to justify the cost when you can get two sets of injora for $24 or less. Anyway, that's my take on that. Keep up the good work, can't wait for axles.
If you want to know which tires are good, look at the SORRCA ban list. Top performers are banned from competition (I was told) because it creates too much imbalance if everyone isn't running top tires. JConcepts Ruptures and Megalithics are on the list, for example.
@@wingnutbert9685, I was told it was about making it fair - but based on the comments here I may have been told wrong. Maybe it is an appearance thing, which somehow makes even less sense?
@@Usul That be weird, if true. Anyone can go and buy the tires so don't know how it's unfair. Unless they are a grand a set and they have actual rock magnets in them! LOL!
Good list on tires! I just did a breakdown of different inserts, and it was a lot of fun. Minimal takeaways, but there's an argument to be made for whatever your preference is. haha
Over there doing the lord's work. That was a great video. I really liked the format you used. Asking people at the top of the 24 game was a great idea. This video was a treat. I personally would really like to know what the top chassis are? I know it would be a crazy list of custom/DIY stuff, but just maybe a brand or two stick out? I'm definitely looking forward more videos like this. 👍🏼
I like the Injora swamp claw with super soft silicones with every other support cut on the ring that surrounds the wheel. I`m new to this, but I`m learning quickly. Not much to do in a retirement community so, all I do is watch diy videos and fuck shit up. EVO PRO! Yeah that`s right.
I still love Mud Slingers!!! Always my favorite all around tire. Larger than stock but still look like a scale beefy mud tire They may not be the best performer in the bunch for any 1 element... but they perform better than most in all elements...crawling, climbing, Rocks, wood, Wet surfaces, mud and loose stuff. That never let me down
I had a hard time mounting the Tusk's on Mofo rims. 4 years ago I remember mounting Scramblers on RC4WD stamped steel beadlocks with no issue. I do like the idea of keeping an open mind when using tires and rims, different sets front rear. Even different sizes! Your channel has me trying new things like metal axle in front, etc. Try it and see. I'm in Washington state and have been running on alder logs I cut to "14 size (scale?) , smooth rocks like a boulder field and some mud. I've yet to find the rocks like you run on. I'll have to hike to find them, they're here! Moved the esc and battery, my next project is to secure them. Zipties ok with Lipos?
Great video! For the axles vid, I know this is a 24th channel and 18's are like gollum you can reach a guy or 2 and include them on the vid.. 18's guys deserve some loves too..😂😂
Awesome I was here watching 8:01 PM Saturday, December 21, pitbull tires did not realize they had for the 1/24 scale. I’ll have to scope them out. Appreciate the video I watched for the next one.👀👀 well until next time peace and chicken grease😁👍👍👋👋😎
1.0 tires that work well on Oregon river rock: JConcepts Ruptures RC4WD Scrambler RC4WD Milestar Patagonia Pro-Line Hyrax JConcepts Fling Kings (siped)* Injora yellow silicone inserts for larger tires, no inserts for smaller tires/lighter rigs. I have a scrub jig to put 'miles' on the tires before use, so they're all roughed up and have little-no mold release left. Definitely recommend a jig for all crawler tires! *I may have a bias towards monster truck/agriculture tires
I run on mostly man made courses that are concrete chunks and stucco, I love RC4WD Patagonias, RC4WD BFG KM3 and KR3, Injora Swamp Stompers in both sizes, and I run ProLine Trenchers on my 1.8 super wheels.
I’m doing my first 24 build with a toyoter body. Full brass portals with those kr3 tires. It might weigh like 700 grams though so I’m gonna look into more tires and inserts. Cost me about 600 for the whole build
I'm new but I just got the stock tires on the cayman pro v2 and took out the foams. Curious to see how they do without anything in the tire on the stock ascent18.
@24Yepp i figure with stock weight, it's worth some experimenting with my 6 yr old to understand with his hands rather than just telling him. So happy to have a kid who would pick up a transmitter over a Gameboy.
More in depth tire videos are needed! Our crawlers are nothing without traction. Compound, tread and inserts should all be talked about including any cutting and trimming!
I have RACKS of tires and really it comes down to the type of rock your climbing, are you doing indoor competition courses or outdoors hunting lines..all are factors. Personally I prefer jconcepts megalithic tires, for both the grip and soft rubber compound
I think Injora Cling On is the only tire needed. Wish they would make a 64 mm and a stupidly big like 80 or 90. I don't see a reason to run anything smaller than 70 mm.
I’m just happy to be included 😀
The injora swamp stomper was on one of the trucks you roasted Trey. They are basically a knockoff of lgrp swamp kings. I have like 2 sets of each size but honestly have not run them enough to give an opinion on them
If I remember correctly they did pretty well and pulled both the lower and upper drunken frogs along with some other challenging lines
Nevermind Trey they were on the hardbody headache!!!!
I think they were on something else that was really good and that truck could have been with a little shock setup
Certain videos I like to rewatch, lots of good info in this one!!!! Thanks man

Another great video. You have my favorite channel on RUclips right now!!
Thanks moron 😆
LGRP Black Lable M/T is my favorite. One slept on tire is the injora Swamp stomper imo.

Thanks you for this and for the wide spread reach out you did. A lot of tires on this list to explore. Good job!

To an extent yes, but megalithics were also banned because they didn’t resemble a “scale” tire
Not true
They banned tires b/c they were "too good" ??? What kind of idiocy is that? Did they ban brushless b/c it's too good?

On the Va Rocks:
1. Ruptures
2. Swamp Kings
3. Comp Pin
4. XHX
5. Cling On
Nice vid buddy!
Man I ordered ruptures two weeks ago and they’ve been on back order until January lol
Clingons have been my favorite so far. Can't believe they weren't picked by anyone

Great video and timing !! Was just looking into tires for the jeep YJ brute I bought off of you. Merry Christmas sir !
Like the idea of these vids. Straight to the point and from people that have used these. Can’t wait for the others
Love the top 5 list idea! Very helpful! Thanks for helping me spend my money!!
Great video, lots of tire options!, my favorite small tire is the Rc4wd Baja pro x Mickey stickies
Got the trenchers because of you, need to break them in a little but they look and feel good, wish they made them in 63
Definitely a great comparison to what everyone's opinions are on tires.
I can't wait to see what people say about axles. Their pros and cons.

1. Rc4wd scrambler
2. Proline hyrax
3. Injora s5 hyrax styled tires
4. jconcepts ruptures
5. Proline maxxis trepador

Happy Christmas and New Year, Trey and the 👩🏻🦰 Goddess.🍻
Same to you!
Pro-Line foams are actually legit for being just foams. Good side hill. And the Ironsides are my favs, wish they came with 57-58mm though
Awesome! Appreciate this, so many options for everything it's nice to have some opinions on things. Thanks buddy.

We bought a bunch of trencher tires for all Ukrainian micro crawler community ❤
Great video! Just seen Brandon this past Thursday his truck is sick tires looked awesome and performed great!

Cant wait to hear the motor and esc picks.
I’m happy with my injora kraken tires and rock terrain foams.
Thanks for this video, have to test some recommended!
would love to see a lipo list next
Galaxy, Gens ace tattu, palm beach bots.
2s, 3s or more, from 120mah to 500+ all in super tiny sizes.

Only Scx24 channel that’s fun and entertaining to watch 🔥
Cannot wait to see the esc episode

I have been driving these for about four years and I haven’t used a injora tire that didn’t work well

@@David_Mash Usually some type of foam/tire insert is recommended. You'll have more squish but the sidewalls will have no stability

LGRP Swamp Kings are the best I’ve tried ALL of them on the market.
Use data to take the top in each category and then build a "super rig" with it.
SwampClaws and Mudslingers , SuperSwampers is how we roll in Tennessee
I have RACKS of tires and really it comes down to the type of rock your climbing, are you doing indoor competition courses or outdoors hunting lines..all are factors. Personally I prefer jconcepts megalithic tires, for both the grip and soft rubber compound
Everyone keeps saying “cut”
Does that just mean cut and shut where they add on more tread.
Or is it trimmed or a variation of trimmed cut??
Very informative 👏
Trail warriors are underrated for sure, I won a lot of shit on those tires. I honestly don’t know why I stopped using them
Hadn't even considered a mullet setup!
I think Injora Cling On is the only tire needed. Wish they would make a 64 mm and a stupidly big like 80 or 90. I don't see a reason to run anything smaller than 70 mm.
Best lcg requires a smaller tire. Im sure 80mm would create tipping issues unless your 8 inches wide😂
Happy Saturday Boys!
So whats the best on your rocks.
Rc4wd scramblers
6:38 Poor man's od. 👍
Hyrax is what I like to run.
