Best ride at Carowinds hands down. This ride has so much airtime. The most exciting part is hearing "gentlemen.. start your engines!" at 0:52 before being lifted slowly to greatness.

Have you ridden the Intimidator 305? Not so scary as it is ruthlessly violent and painful. Only 2 coasters in the country are savage enough that I wouldn't recommend them, 305 and El Toro.
I had the same feeling. We went to fury after we got on this one and I was sitting on the seat ready to go but couldn't do it. I told them to get me off. I just couldn't do it. I thought I was going to have a heart attack 😂
The difference in the voice lines at the beginning of this and Intimidator 305 at Kings Dominion that says “Gentlemen, start your engines!” basically describes the difference between the two rides themselves.
I went on it last year. It was my first. Though it was a small, simple ride. I couldn't make any type of noise, I just had a blank face the entire ride. Then I thought it was a great idea to ride Fury
My husband made me ride this ride when we visited Carowinds the second time we went there. It was the first ride we got on and once it was over I was kind of mad at him because I'm afraid of heights and he's always making me get on the biggest rides.
I need your honest answer to this question, was going up the lift hill scary? And was the drops scary?? I'm being convinced to ride this tommorow with some friends that love big coasters like this size. And I keep telling them no lol. He said on Fury, if you sit in the front, thr drop is not bad at all, cuz it stalls before you go down and you're halfway down the drop
@@GamerGirl_BRE i went for the 2nd time on the fury w/ my daughter last night. It goes so fast its honestly kind of a blur. We were in the front. And I actually never closed my eyes this time. But I'm not sure if I watched the direction of the drop the whole time. We went during the night time.
It's all about height. A hyper coaster must be at least 200 feet tall. B&M calls these rides hyperccoasters while Intamin, another major coaster manufacturer, calls them mega coasters. A giga coaster is a roller coaster that stands at least 300 feet tall. A strata coaster is at least 400 feet tall.
All strata coasters are giga coasters and hypercoasters, but not all gigas are stratas. Same with gigas, all gigas are hypers but not all hypers are gigas.

Honestly for me intimidator is way scarier than fury. Sure fury is taller and has a longer, scarier drop but after that you’re really just cruising. There’s no relaxing on intimidator tho. You’re dropping every five seconds and barely have time to breathe. So I suggest fury for those who want a thrill without getting queasy and suggest intimidator for those who can handle a thousand drops a minute.
BryceFourn 2001 Goliath Conquerer If Y'all ride it sit in the middle or row 3 for the best airtime in the back and front you're barely getting any air time in my opinion.

See the thing about this is the slow right up the hill. Im not a fan of heights but I love Rollercoaster. The reason I prefer I305 of this one is the take off. Fury 325 blends the middle line of those. While it doesn't try to outright kill you like I305, it's still plenty intense and has a really well-rounded layout.
I've been on this ride some times and I think the first time I enjoyed it but the last time I rode the ride, it felt boring. It felt like you were just being rotated with no drop. You know on the Fury when it gets to that one part where you fly out of your seat? I never felt that on this ride. I think the only thing for me enjoying a ride is scariness. It just wasn't scary at all. As in the fury, that huge drop gets me all the time along with the part you fly out of your seat. Also this was when it was night when all the lights for the rides were turned on. Idk if I'm crazy or something but someone else please give an opinion.
you might have been stapled into your seat, meaning the lap bar is pressed really tight against your body. it sounds crazy, but leave just a tiny gap in between you and the lap bar and you’ll get crazy airtime. by doing it myself I found that intimidators first drop had just as much airtime a fury. (at least in the back row)

I remember when I went on the cyclone for the second time my seat belt was not clicking in properly so all I had was the thing thats on your chest I survived but it still scares me to this day and I have not rode cyclone since then
it was so fun I put my hands up on the drop and I felt like i was floating

The last time I rode this ride, my lap bar didn’t lock, so I had to hold on for dear life in my seat…
I was crying the first time i went on the intimatedator

Gentleman start your engines be like
Itimidator: 😐
I305: 🤪
Was screaming for Jesus the entire ride today lol
This hurts your back so much i swear 😂
The drop was hard for me LOL
Can't wait going in may
I rode that man
I was crying on the ride
Me too
Nice!
Should I ride this next time I go
Yes! It's so good.
Definately!
I rode the intimidator and fury, 100/1
This is way better than the i305 at kings dominion, just sayin
Is intimidator same thing as fury 325??
Same manufacturer and similar models, but different experiences. This has more of an airtime focus, while Fury has more of a focus on speed.
i went to carowinds before watching dis im glad i didnt go on the fury i was not even tall enough
Looks more fun than the Fury.
I was pretty scared on this ride. Mostly I hate the way the seats are separated so far apart. And they didn’t have the over the shoulder bar.
Seems similar t the 305 Intimidator at Kings Dominion. Although the first hill looks steeper.
Same branding, but polar opposite ride experiences. For one thing, this version doesn't try to kill you.
@@A_A610 well I have to try this one because its a longer ride. I just wish this one took off like the one at kings dominion.
This one is much more mellow compared to KD's.
@@A_A610 Very true. If one could have the aggressiveness of KD and the height and distance of this one, that ride would be crazy.
Fury 325 blends the middle line of those. While it doesn't try to outright kill you like I305, it's still plenty intense and has a really well-rounded layout.
I feel better watching roller coaster rides then riding them scared as a cat.
(at least in the back row)
there are bracelets on the metal roof that I guess the people at Carawinds picked up.
I like carowinds
Yes I wanna ride it
I was today years old when I discovered kings dominion wasn’t the only park with intimidator LOL
I’m going on this in a week is it good
