i remember last year me and my family were going to ride this but we just finished the ricochet and it was TERRIFYING dont call me weak this was my first coaster this year hopefully we will ride the cyclone and goldrusher
Lmao call me a wuss but I wouldn’t go on it because of the drop, for some reason I can’t deal with straight drops but I can do loops and speed and the sorts
JustARegularGamingChannel Like, when you’re actually on the ride it feels smaller? I’ve seen it in person too but I was still to scared to go on it lmao. I’m getting over my fear so if it’s not as bad on ride I may go on it next time.
I went on this and the only thing I remember is a kid saying this is so boring and the coaster carry taking a turn and him saying ‘“OH S*#&” when it goes to the loops 😂😂
It's actually typical for Arrows (and by extention Vekomas using the same track design) to be very rough. The problem is that there's a lot of play between the wheels and the track, which causes the train to bang against the rails. Vekoma seems to have fixed that problem with the newer Boomerang trains, though. Carolina Cobra is pretty smooth.
If you’re afraid of loops, let me tell you I was scared of them, and when I worked up the courage to go on a looped coaster, it was so much fun! You won’t even feel it (besides the G-Forces) but they’re very in noticeable!
Carolina Cyclone did come first. From what I gathered in Arrow's marketing brochures, this was a pre-designed layout that Arrow offered as probably a cheaper alternative to a totally custom looping coaster.
Simple ride but looks like a ton a fun. I would definitely ride this one alot. Say hey to Dan for me if you see him my dude. Thanks for the upload. Love your channel
best ride ever in my opinion.been there many times growing up.so much has changed.I rember when it was more fair like.and the jalopie and bumper cars.does anyone rember the chairlifts.and the real monarail? and needle.and the scary coaster was white lighting. and it was too.would not scarekids nowdaus though.
Yes ma'am the Carolina Cyclone was the culmination of the old school Carowinds. Those days were so much fun. It's easy to wax nostalgia and romanticize the past, but that was an amazing time. Kids could drive jalopeys! They even had those open door arcades with all the cool games. The Meteorite, The Wild Bull, Gold Rush, even the old Scooby Doo ride on the kid's side. Those were some fun rides!
This ride was awsome first usidown ride my cousin and bro were so scared to get on me and my aunt were like it’s fine and I was the youngest out of all
I used to live in South Carolina and I Was on that ride with my dad and I had to go to the bathroom but my dad said no because we would lose a spot in line and then as soon as we went upside down on the cyclones I Peed my pants
Cyclone is one of the weakest and lamest of the Carowinds coasters still in existence. It, Goldrusher, and Vortex should all have been torn down and replaced years ago.
Fabulous ride!!!
Call back to the time I couldn’t get my seat to buckle and thought I was going to die 😎
That can be pretty scary.
It has the exact same shape/formfactor as the Python @ the Efteling 🤔 😁 🇳🇱🇳🇱🇳🇱
Yes, but this one was the very first one. The Python was the second with this layout.
i got stuck on this ride once.
Can we all agree that Aaarow loopers have the best sounding lift hills?
I'm mentally preparing myself because im going on a class trip to carowinds at the end of april
its-a-me hepatitis b p-preparing? this is a baby.... ride... IM WHEEZING IM SORRY
@@nolanquinn1316 Fury wasn't even built at that time. 🤔
Nolan Quinn shut yo ass up looking like a fucking duck with no beak leave that man alone, even tho this is old you don’t have to be a fucking bully
yeah same im going for a class trip too
What did he say
i remember last year me and my family were going to ride this but we just finished the ricochet and it was TERRIFYING dont call me weak this was my first coaster this year hopefully we will ride the cyclone and goldrusher
i rode the cyclone and it was tryyifying bc it was my first coaster
Lmao call me a wuss but I wouldn’t go on it because of the drop, for some reason I can’t deal with straight drops but I can do loops and speed and the sorts
My first coaster was the fury, GREATTTTT
(It scarred me but it was fun)
Michelle Luna the drop does look big on camera but it actually feels smaller in person

I rode this after we went to slaughterhouse at scarowinds because it was right there and it was scary honestly but at least it has a fast hill
I went on this and the only thing I remember is a kid saying this is so boring and the coaster carry taking a turn and him saying ‘“OH S*#&” when it goes to the loops 😂😂
Good POV of Carolina Cyclone! :)
BryceFourn 2001 Is this ride smooth?
Danielle Rubillo It might probably be.
BryceFourn 2001 Oh ok
I thought you went on it.
Well... He looks completely different now...
Danielle Rubillo No, I didn't.
My left ear enjoyed this video 🙂
I hope they never tear this down. It's a classic
Hey coaster views!
Is this ride smooth?
Danielle Rubillo No, the smoothest coasters at Carowinds are Intimidator and Fury 325 :)
TheCoasterViews Good thing those coasters are smooth! I wouldn't want a rough ride on a 200 and 300 foot roller coaster! :)

Danielle Rubillo no
Don’t go on fury
Coaster was fun, but the seats gave me a headache for a couple hours after riding
I ride this before on Roblox
inwent on this two hours ago and TOU WILL LOVE IT!!!
Arrow Dynamics coaster? The track looks like Arrow Dynamics
It is.
Yep. Custom Arrow Looper, the first to invert x4.
I would like to know how scary this ride is if you can do the fury. (How scary are the loops)
Not scary at all in my opinion
Ya it should be in camp snoopy
If you’re afraid of loops, let me tell you I was scared of them, and when I worked up the courage to go on a looped coaster, it was so much fun! You won’t even feel it (besides the G-Forces) but they’re very in noticeable!
this is the same one at wild waves in Washington but there's only one loop at the start but the rest is the same
I remember when this thing was brand new and painted red. Still a great coaster.
Me too. Tried and true classic. Can't wait to ride it again this month.
Kinda follows the same layout as canyon blaster from adventuredome in las Vegas...
Pretty sure Carolina Cyclone was the first of its kind since it was the first one in the world to have 4 inversions. Correct me if I'm wrong tho lol

I love this roller coaster it my favorite of all times.
Simple ride but looks like a ton a fun. I would definitely ride this one alot. Say hey to Dan for me if you see him my dude. Thanks for the upload. Love your channel
is 'magic mountain' in gardaland, italy a reproduction of this?
No, Magic Mountain was made by Vekoma whereas this was from Arrow Dynamics. Also, this was the first coaster in the world with four inversions.
well i it as the same track layout as magic mountain and it has vekoma tracks os close enough
curious what kind of camera you use and is it possible for anyone to record the rides or do you have to clear it with the parks?
Maybe a go pro on his or her head idk
First reminds me at Big Loop in Heidepark, Germany.
hey coaster views have u done the cobra yet?

can u plz do the night hawk plz
It was so fun
They need to go back to all blue I hate the multi color scheme
This ride was awsome first usidown ride my cousin and bro were so scared to get on me and my aunt were like it’s fine and I was the youngest out of all
Lol my first ride with loops
Python in De Efteling is exactly the same...
i rode this like 3 times it my favorite ride
Arrow Dynamics has great concepts for their time but the jerky rides and god-awful head banging restraints just kill their rides.
Are you guys even alive?
railfan99 dude its a ride for babies specifically
Ride fury
Nolan Quinn I have and I’m gonna again tmrw
caroline vita more a family ride and for kids who like thrill
I used to live in South Carolina and I Was on that ride with my dad and I had to go to the bathroom but my dad said no because we would lose a spot in line and then as soon as we went upside down on the cyclones I Peed my pants
I did this one
