i walked into the park thinking that anyone who ever even stepped into the line is crazy, and i walked out of the park with that as my favorite coaster ever.
My #1 coaster out of 89 I’ve ridden so far! Intimidator put Carowinds on the map, Fury 325 made the park a worldwide destination. Thankful to only live 2 hours away from this masterpiece

Yoooo🤦♀️.. My husband and I got on this tonight after a thunderstorm came thru. My sons sat out on this one. OMG 😵The longest 60 seconds of going up ... praying & rethink your life over. But I swear my soul left my body after the 1st drop and 2x after couple more drops, twists, & turns. This ride is freaking awesome. I'll definitely do it again. The adrenaline rush & mind racing thoughts. This is definitely a night rider too. Have to try in daytime
That first drop is COMPLETELY beyond compare. The rush of adrenaline and fright at that drop sets up the rest of the coaster for speed and thrill beyond all the others at Carowinds. I love it!

@@waveiscursed because it is, it runs on steel track and there’s not enough hybrid coasters to justify making a list. And if they made a hybrid list, then wooden track with steel supports would count. So mine train coasters and some coasters like The Voyage would be on there.
Hot take: my favorite part is the helix, especially at 1:34 where you almost crash head-on into that column. But the whole ride is such a delight, I went in July and rode it a bunch of times, including after a thunderstorm at which point the sky was all orange. Simply spectacular.
I'm terrified of heights and very tall drops like this when they dip inward is a huge hell no for me. Id have to say the scariest ones I've ever rode were the Afterburn and the Carolina Cobra. Not such good picks if your a wuss like me. I don't think there's many rides at carowinds that I could ride and actually enjoy due to my fear

i was at carowinds yesterday and i had the best time i passed out 7 times on hurler 2 times on carolina cyclone and more rides but it was AWESOME! for me carowinds is the best amusment park EVER! it has literally everything you need rides,coasters and after those your hot and sweaty, THATS WHY THEY HAVE AN AWESOME WATER PARK! 2 for kids and two wave pools and one large water park across the wave pool but its awesome!

As a Roller Coaster Nut, I will say this is the greatest Roller Coaster in America. I've Road just about all of the Coasters across the U.S, but they just can not compete. The Queue is always backed up to the damn gate and I understand why. It is worth the wait. Great work Bolliger & Mabillard for Manufacturing this monstrosity of thrill!
HERE IS THE THING THIS VIDEO DOES NOT SUFFICIENTLY CONVEY: the restraint system on this ride is a well formed seat and a sturdy lap-bar that leaves your entire upper-body free. then the peeks of the hills have a momentum that it feels like you are being pulled out of the seat the entire way down. there is no way you are coming out of the seat but it ABSOLUTLEY feels like you will. your stomach will be in your throat.
its fun tho this was my first roller-coaster ive ever rode and tbh its was wild ngl but it was fun the intimidator was worse my but checks wasent even on the sit for 60% of the ride i felt like i was gonna fly off

WOW!!! That's a pretty great and fun-looking ride!! Reminds of Millennium Force at Cedar Point - which itself was a fantastic and yet horrifying ride!!
It was my first time on Sunday. Crazy I know but it was scary yet fun. Except every time I ride a roller coaster I get motion sick so getting off felt good and bad
1:23 I keep watching that airtime hill and I can see it being insanely long airtime moment, but to actually feel it in person would make it so much better. I will say the coasters that go upside down have better POVs than the hyper and giga coaster styles videos that can't sell the airtime moments as much in POVs. For example (knowing in the back of my mind what people feel about Fury 325) I enjoyed Copperhead Strike POV more than Fury's right now! Although I think they will be my #1 and #2 coaster at the park with Fury overtaking Copperhead in person.
First time riding this was during Scarowinds with a light mist, lady put me on the front and it felt like a hail of bees and I couldnt open my eyes the entire time, not being able to see was a unique experience, then riding it like 4 more times was so damn fun when i could see
scariest lift hill ever lol, love the ride but going up will make you regret it. When you do get on the lift even changes speeds, makes ya feel like you are gonna get stuck which happened on intimidator for me.
I rode the fury today as my FIRST rollercoaster and I was very scared but you just kinda have to tell yourself it's a dream in order to calm down a bit
they are engineered so it is as safe is possible even if there was a crack, not saying they should have a crack but it could operate a couple extra months before it really becomes a concern

I miss carowinds, My family bought season passes since 2015 ever since 2019, Best years of My life. When I came home from school and did My homework every day We would go on Saturday’s, Sundays and Fridays. Though I was like 10 or 12 at the time I was never able to ride the Fury due to height limits but the GoldRush and Thriller were My favorite rides, the Thriller was My favorite because the Jukebox dinner was next to it 😂😂

idk why cedar fair mechanics suck at rebuilding trains. At Knott's, they switched out one of the trains for Hangtime and the new one has an insane rattle, but the other one is butter smooth.

On the video where they show the crack you can see the light beige sidewalk and the curve has a second curve on the inside. I saw a video where they have already started the repairs and showed the roller coaster from the outside. I really wanted to find this curve as you can see.😂😂

I think Millie is scarier because it’s right next to the water and it’s so steep and fast
I rode this a day before and I was scared to the death of me on the lift hill. Luckily it’s a pretty fast lift tho.
