We just gonna act like Howard in 08 didn't give you 21/14 and also 2.1 blks, played all 82 that year was some kind of scrub. This was the year prior to his Finals appearance. He might of been Offensively challenged at that time, but he was still a force in his 4th year. Joel would actually get played off the floor vs the 08 team. Exhibition or not, Joel looked slow and lost last night vs Canada.

Cp3 was great but curry better. Curry and kd even today are better shooters than 08 wade, Melo and Kobe. Lebron in 08 was a better defender and athlete but wasn't as efficient, less iq and couldn't pass as well. Howard is a great defender but he's not stoping embid and ad, both are also good and great defenders. 2024 in 6 games

If this 2024 team was formed in 2020, I would lean towards them beating 08 because the elite shooting of Curry, Booker and Durant being the difference but everyone being in their prime. Lebron, Durant and Curry are past their primes compared to the 08 team who were mostly at the peak of their powers. I think 08 wins
