Le t me ask, upon you choose the first source pint point, you were just assumed to choose the point of one pin, is there other way to be precisely select the point (ie snap point on etc)?
Why this much procedure. Even screenshot also we can do. I did what you told but the image attached to Autocade apper like screen shot image.can you tell how I got like that
While it possible to do the same by screenshotting the map, i would not recommend this method as it does not let you control the resolution of the captured image, whereas exporting it via Google Earth gives you the accessibility to a wide range of resolutions, including 4K.
Great Video! I'm confused on what settings should be used in auto cad when I have googles earth units to decimal degrees and feet, miles? I would like to keep everything in imperial. THanks
its not necessary to do this. you can xref the image, and then ,measure two point (maybe the angle of the roof or sth else) and then in cad,you can use command SC R to scale the image to the selected points .also you can use line and circie to make sure the same distance . by the way you can use tiff and some vlx to to do it .that need map downloader app.
Really good tutorial. Smart steps. Really help a lot! Since I am new to AutoCAD, could you explain how to export the image as TIFF please? I tried TIFOUT but it's just a snapshot to TIFF. Thank youu :3

Sir, what is the tab on the left side of the AUTOCAD screen where you can locate the coordinates? I can't seem to find it.
You can click on the button on the lower right corner to expand the menu, and tick 'Coordinate' to display the coordinate information

Hi, do you have any tutorials on how to create georeferenced PDF maps using geotiffs and shapefiles overlayed on a basemap?
Really good tutorial. Smart steps. Really help a lot!
Since I am new to AutoCAD, could you explain how to export the image as TIFF please?
I tried TIFOUT but it's just a snapshot to TIFF.

Problem solved. I got the solution by the extension download of Raster Design Tools on AutoCAD. Then export/save the selected image in Tiff.
