Miss the real Fallon. Don't get me I truly like Emma Samms and adored her as Holly Sutton on General Hospital but I just didn't like her as Fallon on Dynasty. Amazing the original Fallon left I haven't seen her on television since. Now I actually liked the new Steven.

That was the one and only season that Dynasty bested Dallas in the ratings. Of course, by 87, all the prime time soaps became absurd-mere charicatures of themselves. For my money, Falcon Crest gets my vote for Best Primetime soap ever, but only Seasons 2 and 3 were perfectly sublime. It never took itself as seriously as Dynasty did, not was it as dull as Dallas and KL could be. 1982-85 or so, it struck the perfect balance between gripping Gothic drama and pitch black humor.

"Dallas" usually came out on top, but "Dynasty" was #1 for one season, 1984-85. "Dallas" was pushed to #2 that year.
