My Idea on Moveset Variation would be like on Mortal Kombat X, Where Goku Would have like a GT Variation, a Super Variation, and Z, along with Kid Goku.

Good video Bro. Touched on everything I felt should be spoken of for Tenkaichi. But I feel like there will be variations. Think about how will Goku be able to Go Kaioken, SSJ, SSJ 2, SSJ3, SSJ4 SSG, SSB, UI Sign MUI all in one Goku?
Think about how Transformations worked in Tenkaichi 3 or Raging Blast. Which has a transformation modifier/ button. Where you have four transformations to choose from in the slots.
Not only that every transformation has its own unique moveset, Supers & Ultimates unlike Xenoverse which doesn't do this at all, which is why that game has so many presets or variations of characters that are already full power. Tenkaichi obviously won't go that route especially since they emphasized about how Transformations effect the environment.
So considering what I mentioned above. They have to do a DB Goku, Early Goku, Mid, End, GT & DBS variation of such Characters who grew so differently over time as Goku, Vegeta etc.
Not only that if Giant Characters are to return as I feel they will Vegeta must have a variation of himself who can go ape. A variation that can go SSJ. Super(Bulked Version in Cell Saga) SSJ 2, Majin, SSJ4, SSG , SSB & if they go what if then a version that can go SSJ 3.
Also if Fusion is accessible in battle then that's also another transformation slot. Lots of things to think about for main characters. Lol but ppl who didn't change much over the years they don't need any treatment like this just different costumes to match the time period. Krillin, Tien Yamcha type of fighters.
Yeah I think most likely they would bring back the multiple variations but with how many new forms some of the characters have I thought it was worth bring up. I just hope they don't make a variation like UI Goku his own character, for me transforming mid battle is half the fun.
@@DaxReviews Agree 100% it just adds so much more to the experience being able to transform or even de-transform. Imagine being online someone goes from their max level to their base form. Or being uncertain which form of Goku or Vegeta someone is until we see the transformation(s). There's just way too many form to have in the game to fit into one character.
The only way I can see most forms fitting beyond that is if they make ki effect SSJ 1-SSJ 3 level for one slot. Then SSG, SSB could have a slot of its own. & UI & MUI has some ki level needed like said earlier for SSJ 1- SSJ3 . This could work but I'd rather there be different variations with its own unique transformations from that era as they already did in BT3 or Raging Blast.

I wish they added walking and running animations ik its a fighting centric fighting game but i liked that in kakarot and xenoverse. Fun for roleplay and reenacting scenes

it’s crazy how they continue to surpass every expectation with the reveals so far. 164 characters in the base roster is insane, regardless if they’re variants of the same character idc bc we all know they’ll play differently

One more thing. There's a lot of story or even movies of The Dragon Ball series/universe that never received any game version of it with Cutscenes. So I do expect those things to be touched on.
Especially since Xenoverse was strictly what if scenarios, not true storyline. So I definitely expect DBS to have emphasis in the story. An old PS2 Game called DB Infinite World was one of the last games to have true story cutscenes of the true story even touching on DB GT. The scenes Tenkaichi did I don't consider as true cutscenes like what we see in Xenoverse or Infinite World.
Given that, yes sparking zero usually releases in October or November but more higher chances are around December 31st (I just remember whishlist leaking it one time) and yea it said around that time period if not a few months behind or ahead

There should be a mode to train with the computer and it learns the way you play the more times to train with it. What it learns can be used in a simulation type of battle where you level your character up to add perks like in BT3 and have it fight with other players characters

Say what you will but i would much rather have random forgotten obscure characters than reskins with mixed move sets of the same characters. Maybe just add goku from dragon ball, goku from Z, and goku from super PLUS all the forms as secondary picks. Also no ki depletion if you pick ssj2 as your base pick. Or maybe just make it a custom option in the battle screen, (no form reverting unless the player chooses to). Not having to worry about being knocked out of the form if you just wanna have fun. I used to love the option of picking a stupid Frieza soldier and just havinh fun with it. They MUST add a POWERSCALE mode in which wvery character is true to their actual power level and battle power. Meaning krillen from super could just straight up body a goku from the saiyan saga. You could one shot ppl 😂. Or you could pick someone within the same power range or slightly weaker so that you have to actually fight accordingly. Imagine being cell fighting super Vegeta. You could still win but it'll be a hell of a lot harder.
Add a test your might mode. Add a racing mode similar to Mortal Kombat Armageddon. Flying and using power ups to win the race. Hide and seek mode. There's just so much you can do with a game with broad mechanics and open arenas. First to find the Dragon balls wins(capture the flag style). Idk. I could see this game being a master piece.
Imagine interactive arenas too. Like namek exploding. Picking a character like Frieza would give you the advantage because after the planet explodes he can keep fighting in the vacuum of space. Picking someone like krillin would be a disadvantage because you only have so much time before he runs out of breath or maybe takes tick damage from the arena. Or both 🤷🏻

I don’t think Future Trunks & Gohan need Super variants.
Trunks already has two versions (Sword and Fighting Teen) and the DBS stuff could be added to Sword Trunks (who has a pretty generic moveset outside of Shining Sword Attack, just giving him Super Saiyan 2 & Rage and adding DBS moves to those two forms could work wonders).
And Gohan’s Budokai Tenkaichi 3 moveset is pretty generic, there’s plenty of room to just add DBS stuff and give him Beast.

Future Tunks doesn't need a DBS variant, it's literally the same character who just dyed his hair and changed clothes. Keep his base and ssj1 like it was and add dbs moveset to ssj2 and ssjrage. Players can play which ever version they want by simply switching the costume.
Same for Gohan, just let him go from base to ssj1 to ssj2 to ultimate to beast.

No he didn't. He only went SSJ in a non-canon Japanese only special. They only time we see him in the anime is a flashback to when Frieza kills him, and again if you include the DBS Broly film.

Unnecessary bashing of Yamcha has to stop
This is going to piss off some fans but: I honestly don't like the fluffy hair on Super Saiyan Goku (mid). It's even more jarring because he is the only one with that hair design, even though both Vegeta and Trunks had it in the early Android arc. Just get rid of it.
In the most recent trailer it looks to be a bit less fluffy for SSJ Goku mid. Unless the hair is outfit specific.
@@DaxReviews It looks very similar to the last game, only a deeper yellow. I personally think it should just be removed to make the art more consistent. The only reason his hair was like that was because of Akira's earlier design for his hair.
