The defense shaded the status of the home saying no house should look that way if it wasn’t being robbed. I think they want to paint the narrative that Jefferson was a lazy, uneducated, irresponsible, low status person. This testimony refutes that and made many men uncomfortable this day. She was highly educated from a good family and the judge was disrespectful for stopping her from sharing details about their family’s successes
Yeah, but no one with kids and/or a sick elderly parent should be living in those conditions. The little boy was old enough to clean up after himself and the highly educated woman definitely knew how to clean up after herself. Sitting around playing video games to the wee hours of the morning & letting your house look like a tornado hit it is all I need to know. The girl was definitely murdered by this cop and that's all that matters. We all have a right to protect ourselves and our property at all times especially while we are in our own home. Cops DO NOT have the right to walk into your yard and peep into your windows and shoot you. Any cop that goes snooping around my home unannounced is just an intruder to me. The "cop" thing doesn't fly, so says the law. If a cop is trespassing on private property you have the right to protect yourself against the cop as if he/she were any other intruder or burglar. That's written in the law books.

Yep judge thought this was lowlife family,he is out for the cop.The cop needs to be found Guilty.He should have announced POLICE.He tried to be an officer before and was denied for being like hot headed

Judge and defense act as if this were something not attainable. (Successful 😉 educated families) Uh, many and plenty of us are successful with loving families.
Truth be told many of us who don't have successful careers or a college education still have a beautiful upbringing. To include single family homes, too.

Talking about "I know, I'm just saying let's move on" he even over-talked the D.A as she was explaining where she was going with her questions.
He didn't want an explanation because he and the defense didn't' like the positivity and driven motivation of a college successful 😉 family.

This is a beautiful organised loving and educated family! She moves out after obtaining her degree to start a life of her own but as soon as mom gets sick she moves back home to help take care of mom! She also takes care of her little nephew, teaching him how to do some chores around the house and make some quick meals! She plays with him which to a child is so important because children will never say ‘what a day I had mommy/daddy, come let me tell you about it’; all they’ll say is ‘can you please play with me!’. She has a sister with Master’s degree in Mathematics and she was going to Medical School’.
That judge just cut her testimony short . Guess he was mad they were educated.

It’s heartbreaking that her brother serves in the Navy and our police somehow murdered his sister while he was serving. Our police need better resources and practices to see this doesn’t happen so often.
They need accountability and vetting.
It happens all over America and cameras and body cams are what is finally getting them in trouble so just remember when someone says they were innocent they are probably telling the truth I can't imagine how many people were wrongfully killed or jailed in the passed

I pray for the female officer as well. She knows this went wrong and grieves for Zion. I’m sure she has and will face retaliation for telling the truth. Clearly, this has taken a toll on her.

I’m from that neighborhood. I grew up directly across the street from this tragedy. Those homes are pre-war, hard wood flooring, and staircases, because many are two storied and have three to four generations living in them. Majority are working class two parent homes unless they are widowed. Everyone was married when I grew up there-no illegitimate children. Sprinkles of ghetto ppl came in the early 80s when the kids would allow section 8 folks to rent their parents homes they didnt want or want to rehab. 90% of ppl in the neighborhood are educated. The first black woman to attend North TX state lived doors down from this incident, owned 15 homes around the city and was the tax preparer for everyone in the neighborhood. She had a nice office on her property. Many homes in the neighborhood were run down, but now that the area was zoned historic, gentrification is happening, new homes are going up, old ones are being restored so the minimum home now is $300K. Smh.
The judges they will have to stand before the judge of all judges, the Almighty God he is; so be careful judge . Strength to this great family.. Racism is not of God, please repent people Jesus is coming soon to judge us all. Zion God will see you and your family through keep the spitit of love burning and forgive. However justice must prevail , through the power of God.

I think Jefferson’s background is highly relevant. She wasn’t a criminal and based on this testimony neither were her family members. They worked for degrees and careers with goals. She had a gun for safety not to commit crime and defy the law

I hope that the whole family are looking after Zion, he looked really close to his aunt and he saw her murdered. I hope that they keep him on the straight and narrow and he becomes a scientist and HE finds a cure to diabetes, but most of all keep him safe.
