What tests are needed to diagnose asthma?

Is there one specific test for a diagnosis of asthma? In this video I briefly explain what asthma is, which symptoms may suggest it, what is the role of spirometry and some other lung function tests and blood tests your doctor may request to try to determine if your asthma is allergic in nature.

If you don’t have raised esinophil count does that mean asthma itself is unlikely or just that allergic asthma is less likely
