Mercyful Fate doesn't have a single bad album, though I think "Dead Again" is still their weakest. But I can definitely see why some would prefer it. Still a good album!

Merciful Fate and King Diamond is just a way more interesting, versital, and artistic sound than the all the rest of death metal. I can't actually listen too much of the rest, and at 52, I really shouldn't be listen to this music anymore, but it's still just damn good rock n' roll.....

I love the first two albums and then trailed off, tbh. But, I've come to realize that I now know the real reason Marillion broke up. The band couldn't handle Fish pulling double duty and Fish couldn't sing Kayleigh in the falsetto like he wanted to.
