In this episode I’m attending the Wheeling with @warn event at Windrock Park in Oliver Springs, TN. The weather is hot and humid with rain and thunderstorms in the forecast! I am joining trail rides with nothing but Jeeps on 40” - 43” tires - Can our little Toyota pickup keep up?

I highly recommend doing the float bowl vent mod on that weber it'll run way better on incline and angles, set fuel pressure as low as possible too! Lce has write up on how to do it. A 4.7 kit for the tcase would make that truck do even better! First gen yotas rule!
Completely agree.
WOW!!!! that was amazing! The 82 keeping up with the newest toys is in the block. Incredible!
Not an 82. Most likely an 1980 or earlier since it has a 20r.
Those tires get smaller every time you mention them! Nice video!
Insane ride! Marvin, your smile while driving Sushi is contagious.
It’s so much fun 😂
@@FlexRocksRollovers It totally comes through the GoPro that doesn’t show the steepness. 😄
That looks like so much fun. Ive never been off roading, but i think i would love it.
You should try it! It’s a blast and an adventure every time!
Maybe one day I can find someone around my town that has a rig and I can tag along with. Until then, you gotta keep me entertained. I really do appreciate your time and effort that you put into this. Just stay safe and keep crawling.
Sushi is fun. Very cool. Thank you for sharing!
Sushi used to be by far the cleanest yota in the PNW, now she's ripping up trails all across the nation. God she's kicking some as s. Can't wait to see you get her figured out and running like a champ. Keep up the awesome videos your doing. Sushi is a badass truck. No more tempura please.
This truck needs a 2jz or a nice little 4 cylinder diesel.
Something new will come. A 2JZ would be a dream but way too much $$$$
Can’t wait
A 3.4 is a good swap for those toyotas 🤘🏻
4.3 vortec v6 is the move, it’s basically 3/4s of an LS.
And for God sake a automatic. He makes driving a stick soud like it's a hell of a job
That Toyota is living up to the reputation awesome truck
Sr20 for the win!
Those trucks are tough, my dad had one of the 22RE T100. It was unbelievable
Awesome video!!!!!
Good fun
I would love to see an off-road trailer build!
Super
You definitely had fun. Sushi needs a mechanic to run through her and make sure she is tight. The engine 20R is bullet proof if taken care of.
same story, every time, baffles me, "just needs a lil refresh, best engine ever" IMO overhyped trash, definitely not bulletproof.
@nitrosrt4 it's easy to be bulletproof if it can't make 90hp lol. I love toyotas but I totally agree with this.
Love this damn truck! Can’t wait to axle swap my 87 and get back up to windrock, roughly 3 hours away. Any plans on coalmont?
I’d love to go wheeling with y’all some day
I‘m sure we can make that happen 🤘
Gotta get something I can wheel with first
@@4wdtennessee459I feel your pain. I'm in the same boat.
I just had to sell my 03 f250 that had the Dana 60 front and the sterling 10.5 rear. Now I have to start all over
If you're interested in a motor swap. LC engineering makes amazing crate motors. Or a 2RZ/3RZ swap is a GREAT choice. The 3.4 swap is common but those motors are starting to get more expensive with everyone grabbing them up. There are TONS of 2RZ/3RZ motors out there still. Its another bulletproof engine, timing chain, fuel injected, good torque, and they love a little boost
U need a 3RZ or something like that , great video mate
I have a door and a Hood....might have fenders
I know you like the challenge of the truck but I think all of us would like to see you driving your Jeep with that fancy paint job.
Oh it’s coming 😅 24 Hell and Back is around the corner.
I also have 2 videos on the channel where I took it to Hawk Pride with that paint job
Sushi is a good name. Fits really well for some reason. What you been doing in that truck Marv?😂
14:27 The piston rings are shot it's pumping air past the rings and forcing oil out the top of the motor
Also what can happen with Webber carbs is on inclines it will be over fueling the insane amount of fuel being poured into the motor can't be completely burned and ends up "washing the rings" stripping the oil off the rings and causing excessive wear shortening the life of the rings greatly
Oil rings 🙏
I'd swap the motor with some sort of modern fuel injected 4 cylinder. You dont need tons of power or something heavy. Just something with a bit more power and modern. I saw a Suzuki samuri on toyota axles and he was running a 4 cylinder toyota engine i think he said it was from a 2008 i forget exactly what model engine but that was a really capable and smart built rig. I guess it depends what transmission you want to use and what you can make work with what but id try to get a modern 4 cylinder ive heard of people using newer chevy 4 cylinder engines in stuff.
You could even do a injected 22re engine that would be a simple swap for a slight boost in power and reliability your only real obstacle if you'd even call it an obstacle is the engine control module if your gonna run an aftermarket stand alone unit or get a donor harness and ecu and make it all work. I would probably use a factory harness and control module and take all the wiring apart and make my own harness with factory stuff.
That’s the way I’m thinking right now!
Head gasket?
Looks like it's time to upgrade to a 22r or 22re from LC Engineering
Like your videos. Just tried “Liquid Death- Severed Lime.” I can see why you like to drink Liquid Death,…
I prefer the ice tea and the non flavored water 🙌
@@FlexRocksRollovers ah, yes, I am sure those are good also. Having traveled in Switzerland several times, i can say with surety that Alpine Water is Excellent drinking.
315 tires???
You need some good core muscles to wheel for 24hours. Parts of your body will hurt that you didn’t know you had
What? You don’t do your own work on your jeep?
I do but I’m running out of time with stuff. I know what needs to be done on it. It’s simple just time consuming so i take any help i can get right now. This is the simplest thing to hand over and save time on.
@@FlexRocksRollovers make some content of you working on your jeep. Your ride is badass. That paint job is sweet AF.
@@FlexRocksRollovers also, I really hope you figure out your axle snapping problem before 24 hour.
I would swap a 4.3 LV3 v6 in it makes plenty of power and has a aluminum block and it's something different than a v8 and all the other normal swaps do something like this is just how you figure out what the rig needs
^ this is the way
Put that thing on propane and ride.
Love your channel and I've been following you for a while... Would appreciate if you didn't use God's name the way you do though, please & thanks. Bless you 🙌🏻
Thanks bud, I don’t mean it that way. I’ll try 😅
These are the kind of guys you do not want to wheel with unless you want to put your life at risk. The almost running the homie over to the chainsaw footage. Slow down and think instead of trying to be "on" for the camera.
