You need 4.7 t case gears. One of the best mods you can do to a Toyota. I promise it will transform how the truck does in the technical stuff

I'm loving that Toyota!! Reminds me of my younger days. I had 2 trucks a 4 runner and a Jeep Cherokee sport. A few of my buddies had the old 70s land cruisers.

You need to put some dual t-cases in it. It will save the clutch and be a lot less violent lol. Great video👍🏻

Great content! It looked like such a fun day on the trail & the river relaxation at the end must have been the icing on the cake! The Toyota connects with me, because of the low buck nature of the build. I lnow it isn't cheap, but it's more of an anyman's build. I'll keep watching, and thank you!
lovin the content.Marvin I wheeled a weber carb in a 2300 engine for years....what to do:turn the card around180* spin then it wont flod out when your climbing! but will flodd down steep hills,low gear set leave in a low geat and just let bump start yeah as you go down...it will worl and its FREE!

Dual cases is a must for the Toyota motor. You will be surprised how well it will do. As well as converting it to fuel injection or propane

Glad you are enjoying your 1st gen yota. I miss my 79 model like crazy! I had a 20r and 4speed with stock 4.37 gears and 37 13.50 pitbull rockers and didn't have that much trouble with my clutch in 4low and 1st. Get you a 4.7 tcase gear the cheep route or dual cases if you want to put more into it. 4.7 low range gears will be a game changer. Sounds like the engine needs a tune up badly or a major exhaust leak fixed sounds like it's running on 3 cylinders lol make it Fuel injected or swap in a 2rz or 3rz. Simple swaps.

If you ever see an older Toyota with a 4 banger and wonder why the sheet metal is so messed up this first rock garden is the exact reason!!!! Hahaha high rpm's wheel speed and bangin on the rocks to get tbru!!!! It's fun as hell but not easy on the body hahaha all for the love of the sport tho and driving baby!!!!!

Also, look into a holley sniper for the Toyota. 2300 series is what I run on mine. I can sit at a 90° angle and never die
3rz conversion would make sishi an animal. And keeps the toyota 4cyl spirt.(later on could turbo it too)

Any plans on putting a second t case in sushi. Then you wouldn't have to ride the clutch so much.

It is only warm in the ankle deep area they were. You go further out where it is deeper it is much cooler and refreshing.
