It's honestly that simple. I think it is reasonable to give women some validation and intent and still appear like you're doing this because you want to, not because you're outcome-dependent or manipulating them. Insecure, low value, or unintelligent women may be repelled by it anyway because they don't understand the difference. But I think mature women are able to clock it and emotionally register if what you're doing is genuine and not needy.
Exactly. You can send sweet texts and do romantic things, but couple it with mascuiline indifference and outcome-independentness. Example would be sending a girl a text saying "hope your day is going well, just thought about you", but then not setting up a date for 1-2 weeks. When you have a clearer grasp of how women think and respond to life, and cultivate the ability to cognitively regulate your own emotions with logic it becomes easier to read and evaluate women.... Combine that with not being a slave to lust, and you'll all of a sudden start asking yourself questions like " Is it really even worth it to give this chick my energy?".

The problem with not showing intent is that it gets too many guys friend zoned. You have to be willing to show her that you're on demon time/value your time, and that you're not willing to be a friend/validation orbiter. If they ain't down for the program/meet your standards then it's good bye (sub-communicated, not necessarily verbally said). There are ways to show intent that come from a position of power, self respect & pre selection. There is a difference between chasing, and pursuing.
As someone who's been in the game long & is ultimately successful now, Casey has a valid point as he understands his audience is mostly men who are failing at dating. Overall a great video and helpful for the men who need this. I just think it's important that we do not generalize showing "intent" as bad, rather, any needy intent is bad. yeah while Casey's content is overall really good (I am even considering buying his MBT), I feel like he sometimes expresses stuff poorly. A man has to show intent. He has the initiative. Asking for her number = showing intent, setting up a date = showing intent, going for the first kiss = showing intent, escalating to sex = showing intent. If you don't do this, you will be friendzoned 100%. But of course, you can't just randomly go for the kiss (=needy/insecure). You need to MAKE the situation so that the kiss will feel natural, and that happens via flirting, teasing, banter, deep conversations, lighter physical touch etc. This shit is nuanced. One cannot simply say showing intent = bad.
I think what he said is very nuanced. He mentioned there is levels to this and that showing direct intent is very high level, because it needs to be coupled with a truly detached internal state. Most guys watching this, including myself aren't able to do that all the time. Indirect communication is a tool to help reinforce an internal state of detachment and indifference, all while learning to sub communicate.
I will say though, the thumbnail and title isn't nuanced. That's just the game.
The fact is, the men she wants and truly desires DO NOT have to show intent and she will still pursue. Feeling the need to show intent means this woman isn't naturally attracted to you. I promise you even if you just behave "friendly" as you say with a woman, if she wants you she will make it known

Meaning you do need to be indifferent however only up to a point. You just want to leave little bread crumbs of validation and don't over do it for fucks sake.

My 10 year relationship recently ended. I can tell you some mistakes I made was letting her have any sort of power in the relationship. When I stopped taking the lead and making the decisions she slowly started to lose respect for me.
We had a family together and he’s right when he says they don’t care if there’s kids involved.
Second big mistake I made was when I did make a mistake and we broke up over it I was to apologetic about everything.
I put to much effort into getting her back instead of being indifferent to her and how she felt and she recognized how dependent I was on her.
She also has 4 other sisters that were against me aswell and I can tell you when women get together against you it definitely doesn’t help.

Showing intent is one of the core principles of good game. If you don’t show intent and don’t do it early on, you will probably get friend zoned.
Not showing intent is what 99% of guys currently do. It’s called being a nice guy, or gay best friend. Showing intent is what separates you from those guys. It’s how you make conversations man to women.
The key is to not be attached to the outcome. If she likes you or not, neither is a big deal. You have to think of it from the perspective that you have an abundance of women in you’re life. How would you act? How would you act if you are used to women responding well to you?
It doesn’t have to be complicated. Be detached from the outcome, show clear intent, have an abundance mentality, self amuse, don’t be overly reactive, etc… it’s all just a vibe.
But when this is not your true personality, the whole cardhouse collapses when she finds it out.

Overall, I agree with the message I think it accurately describes typical modern day dating dynamics. However, I do think there is more room to show direct intent but it has to be done with the proper frame. I believe you can be a bit more direct and show intent with women if it's delivered with the frame of indifference - kind of capturing both elements Casey mentions. I think this is actually the best state to operate from for us men and also for most women to receive. Playing 'the game' and dabbling in the feminine energy is necessary but how far do you want to go, how far do you want to deviate from your true masculine? Love the point Casey makes about qualifying women for more than just looks and beauty. I think actively remembering to resist against the strong surface level physical attraction that we men have towards women, is a good practice. No matter how attractive you find her, remind yourself that you won't actually stay interested or like her long term if she doesn't have other characteristics and attributes that you like and mesh well with your personality.
