- Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd provides an "important" update on the investigation into three friends murdered in Frostproof during a fishing trip on Friday.
The judges who, in the past, kept letting TJ walk free should be sent to prison with him and be his punk!

This Sherriff is amazing. He have a very thorough briefing, and properly informed the public of the process and results of their investigation. But his deep and personal love for his community is what really stands out. His compassion and grief for the victims' families and his activism in calling out the justice system for why this man was ever out of jail is amazing. This is a ridiculously injust story and I also grieve for the families.
There are black people who are spending years in prison for having some weed on them and TJ got 230 felonies and was free on bond.

States attorney worked with Judd’s department and knew exactly what was happening and what Judd was doing and how Judd holds news conferences. I doubt the states attorney was upset with any of this.

I'm a felon who has been to prison but I learned my lesson. I made a mistake 14 years ago. I'm also an avid angler and I'd like to send money to the family to help with their babies funeral. I'll say a prayer for my fellow fishermen today on the water💔 just sad man

@Rocky Barrs - once they have blood and DNA samples from the accused-- in this case, from all three-- that info will be entered into the state/regional and national crime data bases, if that has not been done already. It's possible that other jurisdictions reexamining evidence from past unsolved cases will find a match at some future time.

It's called "poisoning the well" and it loses cases when judges hear this kind of shit. You can't call people "evil" and "thugs" and act like you've proven the case before it's even gone to trial. THere is a REASON law officers usually say "allegedly" and "we believe" when reporting these cases. These people are innocent until proven guilty, and if their lawyer can make the case that the jury was poisoned before they got their day in court. Also, you don't actually KNOW they did it. I’ve never been in law enforcement but I did serve 8 years as a infantryman in the Marine Corps and man I’m super impressed with this Sheriff, he is a a professional in every sense of the word and this country could use more leadership just like this.

I would add that this is the difference between rural gun laws and city gun laws. In a rural area, this can happen any day of the week.

I've never heard such a detailed description of a murder crime scene without the suspects cooperation. prior to a trial, so quickly after the crime occurred. These detectives are amazing.

There is a chance of him making a deal with the prosecutors to avoid a lengthy trial and possible execution. The prosecution could ask him to plead guilty and spend life behind bars or risk going to trial and getting execution, there are a few different variables that can happen from now till court. He most likely won't go to court for a yr or two yet since he was out on bail for other crimes while he murdered those boys.
