I’ve been taking 2000mg of fish oil daily for about a month and a half now. mainly for joint pain it’s helped my joint pain but I haven’t noticed anything else. But I’m only 20 so that might be why ether way it’s nice to know it’s helping more then my joints.
Actually, the optimum recommended daily dose for adults and adolescents is 5g or 5000mg; so 2000mg is not a lot. I've been taking a teaspoon of liquid fish oil which equals about 5000mg on a daily basis for years for cognitive, joint, heart, hair, skin and eye vision health benefits.
Also.. perfect as a natural laxative.. particularly when eating only one or two meals a day. The trick is to take fish oil in in the middle part of a meal, which will also prevent burping and acid reflux. I have been taking a high-quality fish oil (6 grams of fat) for almost 20 years.

Obviously, the balance between Omega-3 and Omega-6 ist essential. Unfortunately, the Omega-6 value is much higher than the Omega-3 f. acids, due to our food consumption behavior. Humanity should constantly seek and keep the balance. People, this is important.
Glad to see this channel/video is based on facts but not advertising a brand to go for. That means they are not biased at all and only telling facts... However, considering there are many many fish oil brands out there, selecting a good one is a challenge...
Since my childhood, I have consistently taken fish oil supplements, although there were periods when I temporarily stopped and resumed using them. Particularly when I began bodybuilding, fish oil became an integral part of my routine. Now, as a doctoral student engaged in rigorous academic and intellectual pursuits, I have continued relying on fish oil since 2016. Over the years, I have observed that while fish oil has occasionally proven beneficial, there seems to be a growing resistance or a decline in the quality of available products. It appears that fish oil is an under-regulated commodity in the market, leading to doubts about its authenticity and overall quality. This uncertainty makes me question the widely exaggerated effects attributed to fish oil, especially when considering the influential power of persuasive videos that encourage its purchase. It almost feels like a complete scam. Despite being on fish oil for nearly six months, I haven't encountered any noticeable issues. However, I've come across medical journals discussing how long-term use of fish oil can contribute to the accumulation of a particular sediment or plaque in the heart. It leads me to believe that the fish oil industry has manipulated public opinion to suit their own agendas, deceiving consumers like us.
I don't know if I'd say it's had a noticeable impact on my quality of life, but I've been taking in a bit of cod liver oil every day or two for a while now and it certainly hasn't hurt. Also been taking light Vitamin D supplements (500iu) and that's definitely helped a little with my general mood and in fighting off minor illnesses before they get serious. Or at least, I seem to catch any bugs going around less frequently. It's not like I have hard data but anecdotally I think it's been a good thing. Videos like these are really helpful to give people context and a reliably backed source, as to why a just a few nutritional supplements can massively improve your chances of a healthy old age. Thanks.
@@kaushikkrish1752 A spoon of cod liver oil's a decent daily supplement, it's not going to have any issues being fully absorbed by the body. Comes in gel capsule form too, if you don't like the taste. Mostly it's the omega 3 I take it for but there's also a little extra vitamin E. For pure vitamin supplements (in my case, Vitamin D and Vitamin B primarily) I try and only take one in the 500-1000iu range every few days, since in both cases even 500iu is close to your daily recommended intake. Much more than that and the body can't absorb it all, so it passes through as urine, which can cause some long term damage to the liver and kidneys. Avoid broad spectrum multivitamins unless you've been recommended a specific brand by a reliable doctor. Random over the counter stuff tends to be variable in quality. Overall, a healthy balanced diet is the best way to keep nutritionally supplied and healthy in body, along with exercise, but I find a few supplements here and there can help fill in the gaps. Especially when so much food these days is all calories with not much else - and overpriced if it is fresh and healthy.
@@kaushikkrish1752 Fish oil is a good starter and you take that on its own. Don't add extra vit. D supplements to fish oil or you can overdose and get sick. It's fine to supplement vit. D if you pick liver oil.

Thank you for sharing this informative video on the benefits of taking fish oil daily.
I took a fish oil pill one time a few years back. The acid reflux hit so hard i thought i was done. It never really did go away.
Me too… I suspected the creatine and kept on taking this for almost 2 years. I would develop refluxes several times a month and eventually that turned into bronchial asthma. Now I rely on real fish…
They have coated ones that may help
@@arungopinath7265 your right, some of this crap can do more harm then good.
I take a teaspoonful of cod liver oil every day along with a tablespoon of olive oil with crushed fresh raw-crushed garlic.
I’ve been taking 2000mg of fish oil daily for about a month and a half now. mainly for joint pain it’s helped my joint pain but I haven’t noticed anything else. But I’m only 20 so that might be why ether way it’s nice to know it’s helping more then my joints.
2000 is a lot. Recommended is 1000
@@Fd20y lol ya I know I lowered it to 1000 mg so one pill a day
Actually, the optimum recommended daily dose for adults and adolescents is 5g or 5000mg; so 2000mg is not a lot.
What brand is it?
I have bad constipation . I hope fish oil will help . I've taken olive oil , but get no relief . I don't want to take the new meds . Any other suggestions ? Please & thank you ! Maranatha !
I was taking it in the morning and had reflux within 30 minutes

Fish oil is great to prevent high cholesterol!👌😊😊

Take it everyday, really has helped.
I was having an issue with High Blood pressure and found that taking 6 caps per day along with Flaxseed oil brought it down 30 points.
What exactly you used, can you tell the name? As I am also suffering from high BP
Good to take but careful if you have a sensitive stomach. High dose can cause gas.
It is important to take fish oil that has undergone molecular distillation and are free from heavy metals.

Yes especially for mental health
Great Explaination!!
A complete omega is better. Taking borage oil with fish oil is super beneficial. GLA is a type of omega 6 that most people need.
Great video. Thank you.🙂

since 2020 I have had a fish oil every day in order to add a fat for my D3 supps to adhere to and be absorbed -I never cared about all those other benefits
That's the exact same reason I started taking it too 🙈

We all know fish oil is good for us. the tricky part is finding a good and reliable OTC brand of fish oil. Wish there were some recommendation here.
Hi what's the best to avoid burps after taking the supplement when should it be ideally taken
Keep your fish oil capsules in the fridge. This will eliminate burps and the fishy taste coming back up your throat after you take one.
If had to choose Is krill oil or fish oil best for building muscle?

Obviously, the balance between Omega-3 and Omega-6 ist essential. Unfortunately, the Omega-6 value is much higher than the Omega-3 f. acids, due to our food consumption behavior. Humanity should constantly seek and keep the balance. People, this is important.
Eat fish, the best oil is in the fish, and your body know how to use it when it comes in the natural state.
Glad to see this channel/video is based on facts but not advertising a brand to go for. That means they are not biased at all and only telling facts...
However, considering there are many many fish oil brands out there, selecting a good one is a challenge...
Thank you
Thanks a lot for information Ma'am
fish oil has helped me live to 158 years old

Padalhan kita kay adel ng Omega 3 fish oil...maganda yan at vitamins
It is good for dialysis patients.
It’s not about Fishoil, it’s about Omega 3 and to get enough Omega 3 you can also take Algae, what I prefer.
Ok
Yep, and it's full of toxic heavy metals.
Maybe switch to algae oil then?
Omega3 is help hair fall problem?
Kindly suggest a good fish oil capsule supplement product that we can consume in regular basis.
Flaxseed from the natural plant is excellent! 6 per day!
Flaxseed lower testosterone
Thanks.
Which would u recommend? Fish oil and cod liver oil ?
@@kaushikkrish1752 i personally also just do Vit D and cold liver oil in capsules, 2 capsules a day with water, personally prefer the capsule because its easier to just pop one out and drink it downl, can also use those daily-pil-tools that have 7 storages for everyday use.

Been taking Krill oil instead for the past few years...more bio available than fish oil and doesn't go rancid because it contains axanthaxin( hope I spelled it right)a natural antioxidant.
I take Carlson fish oil twice A-day along with axanthaxin. The krill oil just doesn't have enough of either for me.
