your wheel lift looks ok ,but it looks as if it has to be welded and not bolted in is this true?if not can u do a video to show how and the angel bracket seem not as strong as the rectangular tubing as on other wheel lift? and do u have a electric pump instead of one going on the motor?

That used truck will cost you $4k, 4 months later. That used truck has equipment that has pivot pins that are made to fail, you can't tighten them and they prolly have plastic wear pads too! Those are there ONLY for to buy them annually. There is NO structural purpose for them other than for you to have to keep replacing. The fact they implemented them means your tubes are loose and sloppy unlike our tubes that have ZERO plastics are are tight to each other. Thus resulting in longevity not replacing parts constantly. But if you prefer to buy pins and plastics then your right a used truck is a much better selection.
#LilHerc will work circles around any wrecker body or competitors unit that is similar to ours by far, in regards to duty cycle, lift capacity (10,000lb Tow Capacity, 5,000 Lift Capacity) All wreckers have plastic wear pads for the sole purpose of replacing. There is no structural purpose for lifting/towing a car/truck. The pivot pins are designed to wear out quickly. Thus forcing the end user to buy them annually. None of which is a factor for our clients. Wrecker bodies minimum = $30-40k. Lil Hercules = 16k not installed. Big difference in price and not having to deal with the downtime or replace the costs of pivot pins or plastic wear pads. Plus the fact your driving in a comfortable truck that rides like a sofa not a brick like a wrecker. Not to mention our LH 2.0 now has 5” bore Lift cylinder. That means it’s stronger than any wrecker out there, that’s mounted on a 450-550 chassis. Obviously excluding med duty wreckers that are mounted on F650 of similar chassis. But that’s my point! We are the first to over build the application to this degree. Unlike anyone, anything or anywhere else. We have thicker tubes, bigger cylinders, superior pin system, no wear pads. 🗣 🗣🗣🗣You can’t afford not to have one of our units imo.
gotta pay to play if you want to buy new stuff. u can always buy a clapped out used truck but you will be dealing with repairing it etc... its almost always better to buy nice shit even if its slightly used then trying to buy cheap and having the head ache of repair and down time. I dont even own one just been studying the engineering behind them and Detroit wrecker seems truly like some of the best built shit on the market. much props to those boys they build some dam good shit.
