I bagged my car in October of 2021. I paid for professionals to install, and that made it very easy. It cost me 1200 for the labor and it was money well spent. Make sure you get 2 compressors, 3/8's Air lines, and a big air tank made with a polished finish to avoid mistakes. Unplug your manifold and re plug your manifold if you have issues with the manifold. Recalibrate your system once a month and keep extra fuses and a good battery. Live your life righteously and you will have less problems and stop believing in shortcuts. Give this video a thumbs up because its a great video! This video showcases an outstanding product and has full details except details about draining the air tank.
every kid interested in this is like "what the hell is a IPOD?" lol
I thought it looked more like a Zune 🤣
You're really doing a great job with your videos (from content, info, editing & post). Good stuff guys.
Thank you. We appreciate the input!
@@FitmentIndustries thanks for the video..does the compressor need to be on all the time.. should you hear anything all that time with this kit? Or you should turn it on and off depends on you changing the hight ?
Sorry bought a car with this kit and don't know how to use it properly ...
Thanks for the videos
The compressor only turns on when the tank is low from airing up
F&$% yes, a 20 minute in-depth informative videos on airlift. (no sarcasm included, actually liked the video) Smash that like button whoever is reading.
We appreciate the positive feedback! We will be doing longer videos on certain topics moving forward.
I agree with you but I also dont know why I read that in the most sarcastic tone ever 😂😂
Thank you so much I'm literally sitting here going back and forth between coilovers or bagging my GLI. This video really helps answer everything for me. Great video
Appreciate the video, just recently talked to someone about management systems for my gd3 honda fit. Definitely going with this management system. Thanks for being so informative.
Glad you can find our videos informational and helpful! We aim for that every time we plan a video!
Another solid video! Really useful information as always! Keep up the great work guys!!
Appreciate that man ❤️
I am looking forward to air lift performance for my frs thank u for this video much appreciated
Breh yesss. First video of this caliber. Love it!!!
Doing my research on airlift for my Challenger. This video really helped. Although it's two years old it covered the info I had questions about.
Did you get it? I have a Challenger I just got a kit for. Would be interested to hear anything you’ve got to say about it.
Hands down the best information video about airlift
Incredibly valuable video my goodness!! I ordered a 3p kit for my opel corsa D opc so i am very excited to get my whip bagged finally!!!!!
Dudddde sounds crazy!! Have you uploaded your whip to our gallery yet!? bit.ly/2Ma4oca
Just got my airlift for my 2018 5.0 I’m super excited and it should be done in 2 days.
I’ve been waiting for something like this video ever since I saw your “The Truth about AirLift” video.
Now that we offer Airlift performance products expect more videos like this in the future. Round 2 will be more about ride quality, system controls , and reg maintenance for air.
Informative video. I know most guys interested in this only want the slammed look, but I would love some more detail on how these things will perform in an autocross or better yet a track day setting.
I've been considering getting this kit for my Audi S5 B8, learned a lot about the kit with this video, so thank you for that!
🤝🤝🤝
Yess finally, a video that explains everything about airlift. Just missed the air sensors tho, kinda interested to know how those tie into the system.
You should know that IF you run the Bluetooth system, your car battery is being drained nearly constantly. So if you car stands still for say 2 weeks, you might not even be able to start the car. A friend of mine has said issue and has to keep it on a charger everytime.
You guys should start doing a suspension series like you have been doing for wheel brands. Id love to see something like "The truth about Raceland suspension" and others.
Thanks for the in depth video. I didn’t really know what kit from air lift to buy and this helped out a ton!!!!
Glad we can help homie! 👌👌👌 you know where to find us! -Edgar
Thanks for explaining everything might just get bags for my Z!
Just wanted to say thank you for making this informative video, I appreciate it! Liked and subbed
🙏
thanks for making this video you guys rock!
Thank you. This video was helpful 👍
This might be the best video explaining air lift suspension. I was about to buy accuair before this video
Glad you could find our video helpful and useful! 🙏🏼
Good thing you didn't go with accuair. ...for obvious reasons.
Very informative. I’d love this on my 07 M45
Great video explained everything i wanted to know before i bag my car
Excellent video! Thanks
Great video. Super helpful
I am about to bag my e30 and e82 this was more enlightening than half the car shows I've taken my cars to. Thanks
Did you bag your e82 brotha?
Supper cool 👍 thanks for the video
I'm planning on getting a VW Polo as my first car. I am definitely bagging it.
Great informative video.
Hopefully I can catch a sale like black friday to save a little cash.
Might invest in some for the Crown Majesta I recently picked up from Japan 😁
Answered my question! Thank you
Yeah baby im on board ! Can't wait to bag my 04 STI 😍
thanks for the info guys
Very informative thanks
I'm considering on installing one in my car. One question, though. As the pressure in the bags go up, does the spring rate equivalent increase as well? Thanks.
Great video! I’m really new to this and I was curious if you get any kind of TUV papers in this kit or if any Air suspensions have those papers?
Super helpful
Thank you!
For anyone that's on the fence about bagging your car, DO IT!! I've been on bags for only a week so far but I absolutely love it! I have a better ride quality than when I was on stock suspension and its so satisfying to air out and have your car sitting on the floor. Get that low life with none of the headaches!
how u feel about it nowww??
@@danieldeda1394 I have a friend on airlift slammed series. He's had his bagged since approximately 2015. They are still going strong. HOWEVER he did have to replace his compressor.
Also he doesn't have the 3p management system. He has the autopilot V2 - So he can't attest to the longevity of 3p ecu and remote.
He convinced me to pull the trigger on airlift. Except I went with this kit. ( 3p with performance struts and two compressors )
How long your system lasts without any headaches is going to depend greatly on the quality of the install. As long as nothing is pinched, exposed or rubbing it will last for years. If all done correctly the only maintenance will be draining the water trap to keep the tank and airlines free of moisture.
@@blkeclipsel2400 I
Put this kit on my 2016 Mustang GT like 3 yrs ago, had to go back over some of the fittings to wrap with tape/PST and airlines cut flush after install but no issues with bags. Original air tank had small slag hole from weld, Airlift replaced for free. Issue though is getting ECU/manifold to connect with my Samsung phone thru app. It sucks...
Awesome. Would love these for my Altezza RS200. You should do one about air cup kits.
We will be focusing on some other suspension episodes coming soon. Stay tuned :)
Great video! Is it good for regular use? I'm thinking of putting for my Honda city! We travel a lot and is suitable for off-road? What are the most common problems faced and their reliability? Awaiting your precious reply thanks!
Good video, 1st. will your car have a lower than normal height after installing air ride ? 2nd. question. is it possible to raise your car above normal drive height after installing the air ride ? got a 2008 Chrysler 300c SRT8.
If only looking to drop the car a bit and not to do anything stancy or camber, would air suspension be the answer?
Debating on Coils Vs Air for my 2018 Lexus 3IS to keep comfortability as close as possible while getting that minmal 1 to 1.5in drop.
Please do one of these for UAS solutions suspension and Accuair management!
We definitely are going too!
Like Your Honestly at the end. But I’m still buying
Just wanna say.. that outro was dope so props to the editor. They don't get enough recognition.
I'm on the fence with this! i want to bag my 2020 challenger scat pack. the place i got my vinyl wrap also bags using this airlift kit. my concern is i don't want to void any warranties lol i only got about 1000 miles on it. I'm planning on waiting a year or two before i commit to it.
Cool vid. I got a question. Is there a chance getting a airlift kit on your wrx with a quick button for off roading and time attack?
Pneumatic suspension has huge potential performance wise, but one thing that held them back is lack of damper curves to properly complement their nonlinear characteristics. Wonder how well this kit does and how adjustable those dampers really are.
It's pretty similar to having an adjustable shock. The air bag is the spring, and once the pressure it set barring any leaks it should provide steady oscillations.
Thank you very much for the info. Planning on getting the 3H for my MK5 GTI '08. Very informative. Please show a video on maintenance, especially during winter etc. Draining and so forth. Thanks again.
We can do that! If you want to build your kit, you can at www.fitmentindustries.com/airlift.php
Insightful video can I get air lift for my 2013 Mazda bt50
Dis LIT FAM 🔥🔥🔥
FYI Long videos is good !!!!!
Thanks glad you enjoyed it!
Do a video about your thoughts and opinions of machining a center bore? :)
We can definitely do that!
I commented before but I cant remember on which video but how do we go about getting a kit customized if there arent any kits available for a car you normally wouldnt bag?
I'm about to install the same kit pretty much on my e30, I have the raw tank, I'm gonna powder with a chrome base, should I sand the tank down to get the best finish with the Chrome base powder?
Recommendation on what to get that will handle speed ? 820 hp mustang gt, and was looking into bags just looking for help:)!
Hey can you guys or did you guys do a video of how to set rise to start??
I have the v2 and want to upgrade to the 3p can I do that by changing the controller and the ecu?
Hey guys wasn’t this uploaded yesterday? Cool video by the way.
Yes we had a upload error..this one should be good to go :)
So I have an NC Miata, I can get everything I need except the struts.
So if I buy the struts from somewhere else I should still be able to connect it all?
thanks 😄
Will most kits in these price ranges have similar performance capabilities for track and daily? I've got an Alfa 147 which airlift don't do but I've found some others around same price
I went into your inventory looking for a system for my 12 altima coupe but when I clicked on Nissan models there is only 2 models, GTR and 370z lol
I have a 09 Lexus awd I’ve read a lot about hurting front cv with lowering so I wanted to go air so I could ride normal height and at show drop down. So I don’t tear up my axels while driving. will these kits do this?
so if i were wanting to get this kit i would have to buy a rear and a front kit separately? why are these not compiled as a complete car kit as an option? just wondering cause i really would like to look into getting a kit.
I may have a kit for 13 mustang going to take off from my gt500
i have a 2015 honda crv exl awd, i really like the look of air suspension. are there any complete kits they make for my car, air and struts. i have been looking online can't seem to find one. please help if you can reccomend any. thank you and happy holidays
I cannot find anything sadly but you can shoot us an email at shop@fitmentindustries.com and we can check and see if that is available somewhere!
You guys should add your website to the Airlift's list of online retailers. Maybe get some more business your way. 👌
We’re working on it 😅
Should make same video but for Dodge Magnum. I have 2005 Dodge Magnum RT 5.7l Hemi. Im planning to add air ride. This video shows explanation w options.
Most all videos you have are for imports. 🤔 for 1 single car in a club? "Magnum Mafia" among if not largest car club in the world for 1 type car.
Be nice for us to see a video for our cars towards air ride w options and Pros n Cons
Thanks
Really nice video but I would really like to see a height comparison to the stock height and also I would like to know if it’s ok to drive on fully deflated or inflated bags. Also how much of a height difference is there between fully inflated and fully deflated? Thanks!
You can ride fully inflated, but fully deflated you can’t- it’d be too low. That’s just for looks.
Probably a good 6” or so between fully aired up and fully aired out.
Dealer told me 4450 installed and alignment to should I just buy the air lift and then get it installed buy them ? Or just do the 4450
Might be a dumb question but if you live in a cold and snowing state is there a possibility that the bags or tank can get frozen and it won’t work?
I haven't found anyone else asking, SO, what is the life span of these air struts? 4 months, 6 months, 1 year two years? What is the most frequent someone has had two bags blow out at the same tire, and two bags blow out on a car?
Pretty new to air suspension so please don't judge my question.. Does anyone have any insight on the daily maintenance of bagging your car? I saw another vid where they said you should drain the tank every night when you are done driving your car to remove the moisture. And then refill. So does that means every morning you have to wait to refill your tank to get air back up to riding height before you hit the road?
Always check for rubbing on the bags, fittings being tight, draining the tank every once in a while for water/condensation
I have a 08 Subaru Impreza 2.5 N/A hatchback are there any kits for my car?
So what kicks on the air compressor brother, the cars battery? Or does the compressor need its own battery supply
My 63 Split window VW Bus, Lowered , i need to be able to make her rise up for certain situations, how do I figure out what I need??
I was curious how loud are the compressors whenever the car is turned on? I was worried that it might be overbearing when getting 1 or 2 of them.
Does the kit also come with the front and rear airbags?
You should do a video on airforce Suspension
We can check it out!
On your website there are tons of different struts with the 3p and I’m confused on which one to get
Do you have to buy the rear and front struts separate?🤔
I haven’t watched the whole thing yet so I’m not sure if it’s been answered. But here’s my question: if air suspension is installed, how do I keep the camber from changing when raising and lowering?
camber should stay the same
dont see why any alignment would change
That totally depends on the type of suspension you have, the semi-trailing arm setup in the rear of my E30 gains negative camber as you go lower by design.
camber will adjust naturally as you air down. can't do anything to keep it fixed as the geometry of the suspension will change as the height adjusted up/down.
It’s that work on 2018 Honda CR-V 2.4 Lx? And what model of airlift ?
not looking for stance. Stricktly looking for a floating cloud ride better than my stock 18 accord. Will this do it?
This could be an option however it is pretty pricey! If you are looking for a smooth ride you can maybe pick up some coilovers as some brands are like riding on a cloud I swear!
How much would I spend on everything I need for my 2016 Lexus rc200t F sport. And what kit would you guys recommend for it?

Okay so if my airlift have the V2 controller can i upgrade just the controller to V3??
Thank you for doing this video. This help me out on my build for the my channel. 🙏
Just pulled trigger on a 3H kit for my e90
HELL YEAH! Sounds awesome man you should upload your ride to our gallery! bit.ly/2Ma4oca
@@FitmentIndustries will do, gotta sort that install first haha. Do you have any reccomendations for sheathing the air hose, or using braided lines instead of what AirLift ships with?
Can the compressors be mounted inverted or vertical?
I have a Jaguar xj6 1976. Will the 3s or 3p work?
Does anybody know if I can do the airbags system on an suv? I want to have the system on my 2018 murano and they don’t have a kit specifically for it (not shocked because it’s a not something a lot of people do to suvs)
can you adjust the strut while its on the car?
Do you have any shops around Jackson tn to work on them
Great vid bro 👍
Im from NZ and would like to order this kits for my R33 Skyline GTR. How can I order one?
Right on our website fam! 🙏
Do you carry air ride struts for a 2001 Chrysler Pt Cruiser
