- It’s mango season once again! That’s probably the best thing during summer for me because I love mangoes. It’s actually so easy to make, maybe around 5 to 10 minutes including slicing the fruit. You can also use other fruits that you want.

Decided to write this down for those who want to come back to the video and just need the ingredient list.
Ingredients:
2 Mangoes (finely diced)
1/2 cup Sugar (1/4 cup will be used to make the syrup)
~500ml Milk (probably less required, since the bottom will have the fruit and syrup)
Yields: 500ml drink

I have mangos and milk and sugar. I did everything that was asked. I drink almond milk for health purposes and I used almond milk (unsweetened) and it tasted absolutely AMAZING. Highly recommend using almond milk than whole milk! (I promise you won't be disappointed!)

I never thought I would ever say this but I miss the mangoes from my home country, Philippines. The mangoes that I have here in my area in UK are so different (imported from the Caribbeans). The taste, the texture, the sweetness... It is sadly inferior. Mangoes from the Philippines are definitely the best and the only ones who will understand this are the ones who have compared it with foreign varieties.
I wish they would export it here. And I will definitely make this nostalgic recipe here but I know it will taste different because the fruits I will be using aren't the same quality.
