I've never been about to drive my edge up on ramps. Traction control or something makes it impossible. I have to jack it up and up ramps under 1 at a time. Excellent video by the way. don't forget to reset the oil life on the inside of car
Someone I know just bought this vehicle. 2011 limited. I would add that although some guys will swear this doesn't matter, the fact that you have an almost perpendicular angle on your filter, you have the opportunity to fill it about 4/5ths of the way up so it's not a complete dry start. I mean you're paying the big bucks for the fancy oil, why not do that no cost measure? Plus one of the best things I can tell someone doing oil changes, keep kitty litter on hand. It's a godsend. lol if I may ask it looks like you had another brand filter on the vehicle, what was it and when did you decide to start using Amsoil?
I am not sure of the filter that was previously used. I did not pay attention. Yes, on this vehicle and others with a perpendicular or almost perpendicular filter, you could fill the filter with some oil. Also, I agree about keeping kitty litter, Oil Dry, or something similar is helpful. I started using Amsoil about five or six years ago.
To answer your question about using Amsoil, I started about five or six years ago. I was using another brand's Full synthetic. I was changing my oil two to three times a year. Then, I was introduced to Amsoil. Amsoil cut my costs in half, and I change my oil once a year. In addition, I track my mileage and fuel costs and noticed an increase in my miles per gallon. If you want a little more information about why Amsoil's synthetic, here is a link to the website. www.amsoil.com/why/synthetic/
Sometimes the switch tends to stick and make the hazard lights stay on. If the switch is working, then the contacts in the switch have burned and fused together. Remove the fuse and remove the switch and replace it.
Very to the point, thank you for the simplicity of this video!! Its a keeper
Doing mine tomorrow morning. 👍 Thank you for the great video
AMSOIL....you definitely respect and take care of your car motor. 👍
Yes, I do and thanks.

What’s the socket size for the drain plug
I believe it is a 14 or 15 mm socket.
