The CFX3 are quite different to the older CFX models, they are much more considered with their design and function. The CFX range is no longer available, so unless you can find one second hand you'll only have the CFX3 to choose from anyway. ~ Ben
Good review thanks. But I just checked your website and you're selling that fridge (CFX35 wifi) at nearly double what another chain of auto parts store is selling it for at $689 versus your $1249.
I think you may be looking at two different products, Ducfat's videos. This is the old model CFX 35W of which we have actually sold out of and was well below the price you mention. The new CFX3 35 has just been released and is at a much higher price. ~ Ben
Yes that's right, John, the 35 relates to the size of the fridge rather than power draw. Dometic have added the 'W' to the product name to denote the WiFi feature that was included with this w=model onward. ~ Ben
@@SnowysOutdoors by the way, I will be buying this fridge (latest version). Sorry, I'm not down under, you look like you have a really cool store there.
That was a wonderful review - it included all the info I needed without any fluff. Thanks!
I'm glad it was useful, Eric. Happy Camping! ~ Ben
How do these compare to the new CFX3, what are the main differences? I am mainly looking for power consumption and noise levels. Thanks

@@SnowysOutdoors Got one for $600 CFX 35 Waeco on marketplace, it seems sweet and very energy efficient.
@@truesight91 sounds like a bargain, I'm sure you'll be happy with the performance. ~ Ben

Snowys Outdoors no. It was the same model. I double checked. No problems.
I think the 35 is for liters capacity, not watts. It's max wattage is 78 watts. (12 volts x 6.5 amps)
