I absolutely love his attitude towards opera. So many singers get SO held up on there specific Fach they won't even take other roles. Spyres just tries them anyway. He isn't super suited to Wagner compared to some tenors but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try a Wagner role or 2 just because its an interesting challenge.
I also greatly appreciate artists who promote underrated/obscure works. How had Rossinis otello only ever been recorded like twice?? Its the better Otello lol...
