I discovered your channel when I was going through a miscarriage in 2021, and when my mother passed away in 2022, I came back and re-watched your archives. Your incredible talent, your soothing voice, and your gently sarcastic humor have gotten me through many dark moments, but even more than that, your videos remind me that there’s a whole big world of life filled with awe and wonder. It’s easy to lose sight of that in the midst of grief. And so I’m so sorry to hear of your mother’s passing, I hope you’ve been able to find comfort in family, friends, memories, and new adventures.
Thank you for taking the time to write these kind words and for your candidness. I’m really delighted that I was able to bring you a little bit of joy to ease your grief. I still imagine making these videos for my mum and picturing how she would react to them. I hope you’re doing well and I’m truly sorry for your loss, I feel your pain.
That is generous of you. A rare quality these days. People in general are mean and selfish on compliments. Yes, life goes on. And we find greatness when we seek
glad to have you back! ive been rewatching your old videos so often that i can almost voice-over your voice-over.. dont make us wait another three years, we probably wont be here (who am i kidding - we will).
Glad you liked your flights! As someone who works for the catering department of KLM, your comments on the food/drinks were enjoyable! :) Hope to welcome you on board again soon!
I never comment on videos, but you were honestly one of the few channels that kept me through the pandemic and I’m so glad to see you’re back! Keep up the good work:)
I clicked on this so fast once I saw it was available. By far the best channel reviewing travel options, and I find it really relaxing to watch. Love this channel
As the person with the first comment on your first video, you can't imagine the excitement I felt when I saw this video in my feed. So glad you're back!!
Thank you for your aptly named channel! It means more than you may realize. I was very fortunate as part of my second career to travel considerably to Europe in business class. My wife and I had some of our most wonderful times there. Unfortunately, due to health issues (first the world's then mine) I haven't been able to travel for several years now. I'm desperately hoping to resume next spring. In the meantime your videos have allowed me to relive those fantastic times and thereby help me push through my recent struggles. Again, my very sincere thanks.
I absolutely love your editing and style of filming... this is one of the best travel videos I've seen in a while. It's a breath of fresh air compared to other channels, and the aerial shots of all the different cities was so breathtaking and not something I see other people do. You have a unique style of videography and I hope you continue to make more videos like this.
Hi mate, been waiting in anticipation to your next post, I follow the usual flight reviewers like most on here but can honestly say whilst I enjoy there content it’s mostly promotional based, your humour, factual info, and your brilliant editing sets you out as by far in a league above. I appreciate your job/life/family will always come first but love every second of your content
When I take leisure trips to Europe (which is usually once a year during the summer), I always take KLM business and use upgrade vouchers which I get from my status with Delta, and watching Tiezheng tear into the only lie flat product I’ve ever experienced is definitely sobering to the possibilities on other airlines. Jokes aside, thanks for creating great content for the average pedestrians of society to enjoy!
T, absolutely delighted to have you back! Your videos are genuinely a class apart and very well edited. It's a joy to watch your reviews and smile at your sense of humour and choice of words. Keep up the good work mate, as I look forward to more content 👍🏻
I frequently fly KLM from Houston to Amsterdam and agree it’s the little touches that makes this airline enjoyable. The service is almost always good, the food fine and it is good value compared to most competitors. I agree that the 777 in 2/2/2 configuration is not ideal but I usually travel with my wife so it is not an issue. I read that KLM has a backlog of 787’s not delivered because of Boeing’s issues, which is too bad because those aircraft in 1/2/1 are far superior to their 777’s and A330’s.
Thank you so much for sharing such an amazing piece of content with us. You mix of information and humour never fail to make my week. I'm so glad you're back :)
Depending on the creator, his or her ability to give an accurate review, I appreciate a longer , more thorough reviews. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. I hope you are doing well after the loss of your mother. Thank you, and safe travels!
Watching a KLM video for 36 minutes? Oh yes, it is your highly entertaining video style, but also KLM. For about 4 or 5 years I was flying KLM trans Atlantic 4 to 8 times a year and it was my favorite airline. I miss flying them with their wonderfully friendly and accommodating staff, decent food, and nice amenities.
Welcome back! We (my wife and I) were just saying a few days ago that we missed your videos. And bang! Here you are! So good to see your wit and wisdom back on the feed! :)
Last video was on March 17, 2022. Over a year without a video is uncalled for. Please don't be gone for so long, ok? I think I can speak for everyone here... we all miss you!
You have no idea how long I have waited for one of your videos XD. Please keep uploading frequently, you got me into appreciating flights and airplane details!
Oh my, that view at 32:50 is absolutely incredible. I work for the airline and am happy to see you had a good time on board & the food was up to par. Hope to welcome you again soon! Awesome content, subscribed.
Chicken Sateh is very very common in the Netherlands.. due to our link with Indonesia. We eat it with fries. We eat it in salads. We eat it as a salad.. true! We eat it with baguettes, we eat it on a sandwich zand of course we eat it with our nasi and bahmi. 😊
Great video. KLM has started installing the new business class seats on its B777's. Unlike on B787, there will be privacy doors on B777. It will take until april 2024 to retrofit the whole B777 fleet.
Got a random hankering to watch your videos again and I'm so glad there was a new upload when I checked. Love your videos, came for the food reviews but I also really enjoy the airline content in general. Great job!!
Chicken saté actually has some Dutchness to it. It is a popular meal in the Netherlands because it originates from Indonesia, a former Dutch colony (bad). Dutch cuisine is filled with influences from former colonies, in particular, food from Suriname and Indonesia added by food from immigrant cultures like Morocco and Turkey.
I luckily had a severely delayed flight from Tanzania back to the UK on Kenya Airways and somehow convinced them to reroute me on KLM via Ams which was a much better itinerary, leaving at Midnight for a direct flight to AMS allowing me to knock out and sleep, albeit getting into London 3hrs later, the 787-10 was a much better seat in a 1-2-1 in Business, amazing service even though it was a night flight, I was a vegetarian and the crew mustered up a meal for me (though I had a big meal before I flew so wasnt hungry), and got myself the dutch house! I flew to Tanzania on Kenya Airways in economy but I'm sure KLM's beat Kenyas offering.
Commenting this before the release, but I do reccomend trying to finish the collection of the mini houses if you are a frequent flyer of K.L.M (which I assume you aren't), although I tried to finish it once on my trip to Amsterdam; I only got 2 houses. Although, hope you are doing well and very Dutch of you to enjoy a can of Heiniken. :)
And when the world needed him most...he returned
Really?
wait a damn minute how did u comment a day before this video
Simple he used his Time Machine with the new turbo flux capacitor
He’s been gone forever. Funniest airplane dude ever.
@@JaneDoe-wo1qh the video was set to go live at 11 pm during my timezone and that was yesterday
It's been 84 years...
At least!!
You mean 184????
I was gonna say dat
he is dead to me to say the least
i don’t think i’ve ever watched better produced trip reports than this guy. he’s in his own class
Business class
yep, better than first class :D
Totally agree! Jeb Brooks is also really good
Try watching Marcel Brinkpeter (?) him and tiezhen are the best!

Hollywood movie level editing, funny and sarcastic narrating, and just the pure relaxing content we all need. Good to have you back!
Ikr, missed him
So happy that you’re back. This made my day to say the least. I love the quality over quantity approach. It really shows.
Been rewatching your old videos. Great to have you back. Keep up the good work. Cant wait for this one
he isn’t really, it was filmed in 2021
@@infin4t3_v01dI really am 😂 I just have a backlog of filmed flights that go back to 2021
Please make new ones too ❤❤❤
Me too, @Vicarious Voyager I super love your aviation videos and funny! 🎉❤❤
I have missed your caustic humor and am thrilled you are back.
Glad you're back! Chicken Satay is actually a very Dutch choice - really popular in the Netherlands due to their colonisation of Indonesia.
Never gets old capturing cities you overfly at night. The lights give a perspective of the design...
Literally the best plane travelling channel on RUclips. Glad to see you back.
This man never disappoints, the wait was worth it. Keep up the good work and hope to see more videos soon!

You're back! I'm glad you're well. Thanks for all the content over the years

Nice. I flew KLM 2/23 jfk to Budapest and their beds are very comfy, flight attendant was very polite and the food was awesome
Chicken satay is a very Dutch dish, it's been sold in Dutch "chinese" food restaurants for decades

That's one of the beautiful things of traveling. You don't have to fly to the country to meet someone or eat food from another country.

chicken sate might not originate from the netherlands, but its been a typical meal here for quite some time.
