@@jeemy425 I got a small led light bar from tractor supply I did start the bike up after it was installed and turned the light on and made sure the battery voltage did not decrease while it was on I can't remember which one I got but it did come in a two pack
Also you could run the light with out a switch manually plug it in and unplug it if you wanted to that's how I do mine I just have it barley plugged together when not using to keep water and dirt out
12 volt electrical is already ran on the klx 300r from the factory its hidden behind the number plate taped up to the wires that go to the bars
I just found the plug in you was talking about. Do you know what light I can get that works for that plug

Where did you get your hot from? Straight off the battery?
Look behind the number plate on that bike it's already got 12 volt ran its taped up klx 300r
