  • New dirt bike reveal, along with an epic view! Here's why I decided to buy a brand new Kawasaki KLX300R to take the GIO 250's place next to the YZ250X. Thanks for watching, stay tuned for more quality trail riding footage with the GoPro Hero 8!

    I sold my YZ250X and kept the 300R. These are a really good value and should last for many years with no problems. If you want a race bike, spend the money on KTM, if you want an all around decent ride for a good price, the green machine is great.

    Going to be interesting to see how it holds up long term - great value. Kawa should be proud of this bike! Nice scenery Jordan! thanks for getting us up there to all the views.

    These legit are the smoothest/gruntiest 4 strokes at low rpm Iv ever ridden. Second gear at idle will not stall even going uphill, and can pull from that rpm too. Very nimble too with that short wheelbase! Im coming from a YZ250FX and like u said, its only comfortable ridden wide open. The KLX is much more enjoyable to just rip around and explore on, plus its almost zero maintenance.

    I had the dual sport version and it was a great bike. I just wished I could get the R suspension on a dual sport.

    Picking mine up tomorrow. 18 years on my kdx 220 thought I'd upgrade. But that kdx has always been a beast and it's never been opened up, just regular maintenance. Thats why I'm sticking with Kawasaki. Oh ya, and the price was right.

      I'm curious how your purchase went. I have a KDX200 and I also had the klx300 and the KdX was by far a better dirt bike.

    After a few mods to flavor to taste, I'm still loving my original 2020 model. I just wish there was a better aftermarket tank option than the underwhelming one IMS is asking four bills for.

    I've got an 07' 250s klx, bought used with 14k on it. Did the kdx snorkel( noticable HP increase!) and stepped up rear sprocket 3 teeth. Gonna do the timing advance mod and a header pipe for next season. I'll also get a second rear wheel for taller sprocket that will have a dedicated tire and chain for weekends and maybe some races, swap out to a more streetable tread and gearing for commuting to work( it's got a title and plate,lights etc.). Suspension is Abit squishy for a big guy for sure but I don't do MX so it's not a big problem. The frame/fork geometry on these is what amazes me the most. It may be a bit top hvy to some but I've learned to work with it. These klx's handle as well as any mtb I've used on tight single track and it's very stable at high speed( just don't roll your bars to far forward)!

    I look forward to the vids! It’s between this and a crf250f for my next bike unless they come out with the wr300r they’ve been rumoring. Seems like 300r is the new do it all bike whereas the crf250f is a little lighter for tight stuff but air cooled and worse suspension so…

      Thanks man! Honestly it's a no-brainer in my opinion. Honda is offering what is on par with a TTR230. Primitive suspension, a power plant that may as well be 20 years old, with a 5-speed tranny. Hondas are known for being bulletproof bikes, but they must be crazy to be pricing them for more than the KLX300R.

    • @endurobandit
      @endurobandit  Год назад

      I'm 5'11. The bike fits great. I honestly wouldn't want the seat height any higher. But the shift lever is way too short for me (size 11 boots), I've already upgraded to a Yamaha Banshee shift lever, but it was too long so I cut an inch off it and had it welded. I hear the XR650 shift levers are just the right length though. Also, the pegs are too skinny if you like to ride standing (I do most of the time). I will upgrade those eventually.

      @@endurobandit awesome that's good to hear good info. I like to stand too I've heard the suzukis have a somewhat awkward standing triangle. I'd love to have one of these in the garage but the dealer here in Colorado wants 7500 OTD for a 2023 which is really challenging the whole value bike narrative. Looking forward to future vids
