great video! The crazy things you can do with end-game items like Visco-gel and Super coolent are so cool in this game, I love watching people who actually know what they are doing use them.
I think the "during flight" part is the key to those ports. The rocket you showed having issues was stationery, floating, not flying. Its engine won't be producing electrical power either.
About rads, they indeed are 10 times stronger but apart from dupes everything is only affected by 10% of the radiation, wich include plants AND radbolt generator, so for 1741 rads/cycle from your shine bugs you will only get 174 rads/cycle with the radbolt generator. You probably will need the research reactor if you want to keep going with radbolt rocket, or switch to liquid oxygen with petrolum or liquid hydrogen, good thing you finally get some supercoolant :p
It'd be fun to see you do a playthrough with some of the clusters instead of the bigger planets! Some of the clusters are hard and require a lot more space travel, and don't have oil on the main planet
I don't think the cartographic module does what you said in the video, unless it's changed. I think it just allows the rocket to travel to unexplored space. Doing a bit of googling it seems to reveal a hex if you're on it, and gives the ? to adjacent ones, but not the 3 out like the telescope. I am not certain however.
Yeah that radiation update hurts. I had a really productive combination research reactor/industrial sauna that's pretty much just a death trap now. So far I have 3 layers of insulated igneous around the reactor and it still leaks enough rads out to make my dupes sick (inside it is something insane like 10,000 rads near the reactor). Here's hoping the next patch detunes that a little otherwise a nuke power plant is going to be much more difficult...
I have an idea for your next ONI series. The only rule is that "you can't construct anything on artificial tiles" (only on natural tiles). You can still construct artificial tiles but anything which needs tiles under it must be built on natural tiles. The only exception would be for things like steam turbines since they can't be built on natural tiles at all. Also, creating natural tiles via the manual airlock glitch is not allowed.
Just saw when you cut the lines to drain the petro from the lines you putting super coolant in you could have done another cut to stop the circulating coolant from do a 50/50 split. just cut it from going back into the aquatuner as well bridge the super coolant onto the line a dot or two after the last petro. then you can cut splice the lines back together during the gap of petrol leaving and super coolant. Not that important in the one I saw but in lines like replacing for a nuclear power plant little more important to keep something in the lines.

Love the banner with the Echo-Dupes!
Always good to see a new video!
That zoomed out look at your base is satisfying for sure.

prob sould've gotten cooling sooner, but, you know the saying. "Rime give you time."
Checking in.
Great job echo i wish you the best you help me a lot with your details
Yay, this is THE episode! ❤

Our current playthrough is on a cluster. I do appreciate you watching the backstock. The new stuff will be waiting for you :)

I think you are correct, despite what the description in game seems to suggest.
The graphite is present on the water asteroid in the normal cluster start, I don't know anywhere else.
Good to know, thank you. Looking forward to exploring it.

I’ve been thinking about our upcoming reactor, so I appreciate this comment.
Good luck! I'll be tuning in to see what you come up with!
Comment for the sake of a comment because yt algorithm. XD
Fun stuff, tyfs. Hope you're having a great week!
Love the update as always
Superdupe Echo is a great thumbnail :)
I think graphite is on water planet :)
Thanks! Makes sense because I haven’t explored it yet.
You didn't thermally isolate the heavywatt joint plate going into your industrial sauna.
Yeah, I thought that too, but figured it couldn't heat that much... right? ha.
I have started using the meters to deliver the about of fluids and gasses. I have found it easier.
This is probably the smarter way.

Very interesting!

You were also “first”. :)
Like and Comment, let’s get those numbers up!

2:15 - Athletics of -5 doesn't really help with being fast with tasks :)
My guess is fork falling into the sink.
Haha, twice though?
@@EchoRidgeGaming ....it bounced...maybe
Hilarious.
