Backseating here: If you send all the eggs(including regular pacu) from the infinite unfed farm into the variant pacu (gulp, tropical) hatchery, you can guarantee the pacu coming from your breeder (regular pacu) hatchery are all tame from birth. This lets you run them on seeds which is a lot far cheaper. They'll eat 1/3 of a seed a day so you can run 3 breeders on one seed a day. You probably have enough bristle blossom seeds to feed them for 1000 cycles at this point. One 400kg orbital delivery of seeds will feed two breeders for 600 cycles.
I switch over in the next episode. I think the dupes will make another delivery soon too. I wonder how many pacus we can get up to before the game rage quits? Thanks for the comment!
on the asteroid with all the stone hatches, you could swap them out with sage hatches and ethanol distillers. a team of 6 distillers can support an 8 hatch ranch with polluted dirt.
You subs seem to be climbing nicely, good to see, found you a few days ago and I've binged this series hard, now I've oversaturated myself and I'm having to have a word with myself because I want more but realise you're a human, not a dupe 😂
Echo, love your videos. 2:49 just noticed you have quite an amount of salt water above hot obsidian. You could desalinate it (or boil some dirty water) by that obsidian and hit two points with one shot - cool down obsidian and get clean water )
15:40 - those splits won't produce symmetrical distribution of CO2 to all ranches, because the nodes further down the splits follow binomial tree distribution, i.e. 50%, 25%, 12.5% and so on.
11:00 - It wasn't hot abyssalite, that doesn't matter in gases (abyssalite bug only happens with liquids). It's the 4 tile gap in abyssalite (bottom area) that allows some hot raw mineral tiles touch the oxygen in your rooms.
you could also do vertical slickster ranches with bucket like bottom so they not swimming and drowning in their own poop. Have them sit on mesh tile floor oil goes thru collects in a 2 to 3 tile high area and can be pumped out collected a bit would have a water pressure gauge to activate pump. Now for emergency I had the bottom of of that collection tank drop out then it would just go into a larger run off tank if needed to save the slicksters. Of course you can have a breeding ranch and a collection ranch. or just leave a tile open in the collection ranch for infinite spawns. Also another thing you can do which i started using more recently is using a water fall infinite liquir storage. Make a tank out of metal doors and airflow tiles. little tile in front pack with two little bloobs of gases liquid runs into tank that size of a liquid pump. Really started saving space. Popped on those on the water planet come back a few cycles later whole water planet is in a 4x4 square. easy to colonize. lol
14:00 - instead of a 200 sec delay you can make an AND gate with the other signal coming from a critter counter inside incubator room. If there are any critters in there waiting to be delivered to stables, don't turn on the powered incubator.
I like your way better than mine. The only issue is if there are extra critters that hatched and were not wrangled in time it would give off a false positive (critters out of the incubators vs in). Then I would have to go manually wrangle them. Thought I would steal, now I am not sure if the pain is worth the reward.
@@EchoRidgeGaming Right, my approach requires a drop-off set to some minimal amount inside the incubator room. This way critters from there can be removed either to ranches or to an evolution chamber.
the problem with the high temperature is not on abyssalite, it is on the obsidian. you could just build diagonally into thos obsidian tiles and have no change on temperature.
You gotta love a good montage! Well, until something goes wrong. Oops! Clark Kent making bbq made me LOL far harder than it probably should have. XD Tyfs. Hope you're having a good week, Echo!
For the end question, I say easy. Tacos all day, baby. When me and my neighbor go get dollar tacos, I do a little happy dance. I ate hot dogs this morning. Although they're good, they don't make me do a happy dance
So another Idea I just got after watching you royally fuck up with the heat. You should go back put in one of those temperature shift set ups with the doors and you could control the heat in that area to morph into molten slicksters. I mean if you wanted too.
That is awesome, hope I discover one of these! Edit: After re-reading I saw that you put the rovers down yourself haha. I was thinking Klei completely flipped the script and had rovers on planets before you got there. haha.
@@kristiansyren3917 I like to look at it differently. For me, it is better when you get the content you are the happiest with. If you like the idea of having chat badges, go with RUclips. Welcome Rafael! Not 100%. I did a monetization video a couple weeks ago which explains the differences in detail and why it's necessary. Long story short, mostly the same but RUclips gets badges and Patreon get a little more behind the scenes types of content.
Dont know what I am doing wrong. Did something like this but I keep having times where many hatch at once and they all fall at once crowding my primary pool.
This can be a problem. Some things to look for... try to clean up so the critters aren't laggy as much, also make sure your door or bunker is powered so it opens quicker.

My man built a entire planetoid sized factory to make a tree happy. These are the things that make ONI great.

Great tip.
Love the tree feeder! Oh and no competition... tacos for the win hands down

We actually have the plan for a water purification center. Solving the final design now.
you can do the pacu farm with one sweeper less, remove the button left corner block of the small pool, reposition the sweeper
I like it. Nice catch.

You are absolutely correct. Thanks for the correction.

Finallyyyyyyy !!! I was waiting for one more episode with soooo much anxiety!!! Thanks for the amazing work and keep pushing it!
You're my first YT membership subscription XD #FreeSupergirl from her claustrophobia - oooh imagine if Klei add a claustrophobia negative trait
Proud to be your first! Thank you for the support!

Bingo. I should have thought of this. Nice catch and thanks for the tip.
Don’t forget you use sandstone to insulate your slickster farm. It will melt if you don’t do anything. 9:41

YYYYESSSSSS BABY !!!!
Great video

Yeah I should have done this a lot smarter. ha.

I’d have built ladders so the debris could fall to the bottom. Emergency built the walls.
I wonder if you could feed shove-voles off of floxs
Another GREAT video!!!!
Impossible solution = Taco Dogs!

Love these videos!!
really loved it
21:00 - I still don't get why pacu only need 8 tiles of space for all of them. Only voles have that as well. Did the devs do that on purpose?
I just landed on tree planet with 2 rovers and they have almost dug it out save abyssalite and a few odd obsidian tiles 😁
That is awesome, hope I discover one of these! Edit: After re-reading I saw that you put the rovers down yourself haha. I was thinking Klei completely flipped the script and had rovers on planets before you got there. haha.
Steak Tacos 👌
I think the tree order cooked pacu
hey echo, how much of the new 3 euros youtube membership do you get?
70% or about 2 euros. RUclips takes a 30% cut. Thanks for the question!
@@EchoRidgeGaming ok, thanks for the answer. Patron is better for you then right?

For your plant farms, why don’t you use the specialized tools to make them farms?
Sometimes I do depending on the need.
Is the youtube membership perks the same as patreon? I truly want to support the channel.

infinite lag farm also XD
Ha. Currently we are at about 150.. we will see how long until I have to cut cull some. ha.

I never feed mine algae and they become tame just eating seeds from the feeder
I will have to try this again. Last time it was still bugged and the pacu would only become tame while eating algae. Thanks for the info.
Fish tacos!
End quote inuendo question or literal question. Or both?
Sometimes my mind is dirtier than a dirty brick...sorry.
TACOS
tacos
you want to impress me? have every dupe fed only on frost burgers.
I like this.
And the circle is complete - I have finally reached the episode where past me left our very first comment on Echo's channel! 🫡
