Useful tips: 2 small oxidizers take up less space rather than using a large one, the sugar engine can bring refuel material inside very easily so the round trip distance can be max range both ways very handy in the beginning

I'm still struggling with food poisoning and concerned and whatnot, and people are traveling through space. This game takes the "is not rocket science" to a whole new level.

Would be nice if they would increase the Rad bolt rocket capacity more then 4000. You cant reach the glittering asteroid, to get super coolant, with the rad bolt rocket unless you explode it on the way back.. conveniently the asteroid is 11 tiles away.. it takes so much power to make the rad bolts and you cant even reach the edge of the map and back. I exploded my first rad bolt rocket to get back with the materials for the super coolant😂😂. The second rocket, I used another planet as a refueling spot, because it had a crashed satellite.
why does the game explain absolutely nowhere what oxidiser amounts are needed or what fuels need what oxidisers....? i have hundreds of hours in this game and ive never really bothered with rockets as its so badly explained
Hey dude, i have around 120 hours and i feel the same as u do. i can't for the life of me get to the rocketry stage as at that point everything in my colony is stressed to the core. Without Relying on SPOMS or outside information this game is very fucking hard to learn.
That is unfortunately the truth. A lot of things are not explained in the game. Or if they are, but you need to find the information in several different places. That does give the game an extremely step learning curve, but once you get it, it also gives you a great sense of accomplishment. And it justifies the existence of people like me to make tutorials, haha :)
@@BierTier Thank you for guiding us in the right direction. Yours, along with others is very hard to learn. I will say though that Its easier to understand the electrical in this game (As i am currently studying electrical engineering)
I should be able to throw that in a follow up video. You can just pump your generated CO2 back into the Gas Cargo Canister for example, it can hold more than 1 gas at once. O2 out, CO2 back in :)
@@BierTier i just dump my co2 in space just connect to the right gas prot inside the cabin, if the rocket is in space it will be used as a dump as far as i know

There is nothing wrong with that, everyone plays on their own pace. You'll get there before you know it :)
This helps as i am a returning player and just got the DLC while it was on sale and had never made rockets in the past thanks :)

Since Oxylite is better than Fertilizer shouldn't one Small Solid Oxidizer Tank of it be enough for a Large Liguid Fuel Tank?

Also some engines generates power during the flight.
That is why radbolt engine is huge disappointment for me.
