he picked bad options near ledge too many times and did not mix up his metagame at all throughout the 3 matches. he didn't even bother to counter pick. i'd take my loss on yoshis and go anywhere else.

Falco died when Wes peaked. Say whatever the hell you want Marth has 100 ways to kill Falco Falco has like 5 to kill Marth from a given punish. FD is practically an auto win and the best Falco stage is also a good Marth stage so he has no stage advantage on Marth.
PPMD didn't have a Marth problem, because he knew Marth in and out.

Honestly, I don't think anyone outside of the current top 5 can stop Zain at this point, except for Axe and aMSa, I'd say. I mean, Zain literally dropped no games to anyone he's beaten this tournament. All of his set wins were convincing 3-0s. Only really dropped anything to Hbox and Armada, that's huge.

I mean it's clearly practical to use in a match, if you slow the vid down to 25% you can clearly see that it almost perfectly avoids the first and second hits of the attack

Someone else made a good point. The godslayers and demigods have become so good that they're eliminating the gods who can actually beat hbox lmao. Mang0 died so Zain could get 3-0 by Armada. :( Same thing happens when Leff beats Armada then loses to Hbox again and again. I really hope Mang0 gets a good bracket where he gets to face Hbox or Armada because I think he has a good chance at beating him but it seems like Zain is a new person he has to dodge now, for the time being...or he should just counterpick to a stage where he doesn't fly off the stage from a down throw despite being close to the center of it. :P
