Okay. So here's my thoughts on this: Even the most beautiful girl has some things about her that aren't appealing to men, right? I mean, she has to take a shit sometime and it still stinks. Then there's periods. Kinda gross if you ask me. But these are bodily functions and you ignore them coz even though they are unattractive, you know that it will be the same with every woman.
Then there are those unattractive visuals. She might have more fat than you would like. She might have a dark tash that she kept bleached until after you were married. Maybe her boobs could be better. As a man you don't like these little flaws coz it lessens your attraction for her, but you try to ignore them because she is still overall the bestest woman you have had.
Finally behaviour. One the whole you get on pretty well but there is always something she does that bothers you. She talks too much, she over-shares private matters with her friend, she leaves the top off the toothpaste. Or she spends too much money. Again these are annoying but you tolerate them because she is still the bestest you have ever had.
So us men put up with unattractive traits in women too, if the overall package is good enough to make it worthwhile. And like women, it is only when the aggregate level of satisfaction falls to a critical low that the attraction dies and the (love) is gone forever.
So I think in the end both men and women are not that different really, we all want the best we can get but accept that perfection is impossible to attain. The only difference really is the different requirements for male and female attractiveness. Not very romantic or noble but it is what it is.

She instantly backed off and put me in the friend zone. Never touched me again. She was in the process of monkey-branching from her boyfriend. She had dumped him but was still living in his house. Just another leech really.

One of the oddest things I've learned is the hotter the woman, the more insecure she can be. If an average guy ignores the hottest stripper and is laughing with his friend and leaving her in the background, there is a very high chance that she noticed and is now nervous. This exact situation happened to my dad. At the time, he was heavier and suffered from depression, so he just needed to unwind. This stripper who was a 9 made a beeline to their table and nervously asked if they weren't impressed. They looked at her with confusion and my dad told her she has nothing to worry about and that she'll easily make enough that night. She then was fishing for what she needs to improve on since they seemed more into their table than her body. After they kept assuring her, she walked away as though she wasn't certain and throughout the night, she would make sure they were looking at her. It actually weirded them out a bit.
The sadest thing with 9s and 10s is what I've learned about behaviors that guys used to keep them. A pattern was to program her to depend on him first. Next, make her chase him and leaving her exhausted in bed every time. The last step is where it gets toxic, but they would destroy her self image. Their boyfriends would tell them, "That extra 10 lbs is costing you 100s a night. You are lucky that I'm still here. What are you going to do about it?" Although my dad has such issues, he is ironically a Psychologist. Strippers saw him as a safe, nice guy so they opened up to him. They were confiding in him about their fears, attachments to toxic patterns and details of their relationships.
Because they have such a high status, it is unfortunate that for a guy to keep a 9 or 10, for her not to cheat on him, he must make her feel as though he is her only option and box her in with her own insecurities; point out false flaws that she will now imagine exists. It's much like an Elephant fearing a mouse. The guy (mouse) casts an illusion to the girl (elephant) that he holds all the power and she stays with him out of fear that she lacks options. It sucks that he is essentially with a clingy, anxious and insecure smoke show. It would be amazing if you could have a 10 that beams and remains loyal. The problem with that combo is that the second they understand their value, they are subjected to massive temptation from other alphas, rich guys and powerful figures who are driven to prove they are better than her man. Their Narcissistic/ Sociopathic nature won't allow them to cease either. Their pride won't let them. Eventually, such a girl will sneak around until she sleeps her way into a Billionaire's mansion. So, you either temporarily sleep with that type or you control a broken doll. Either way, that doesn't seem like a win long term.

Designer labels teach everyone that to stand out we all must spend thousands on a tiny wardrobe to be taken seriously in society ; while car companies convince men to attract girls with x model of car/truck, resorts tell men that good husbands treat their wives just because they exist, and jewelry companies warn us how any rock worth less than a house will end in divorce. The greed of marketers and advertisers has seriously brainwashed us. To undo all the conditioning, it's going to consist of many battles in order to win the war. As men, we just have to decide if the war at the end looks like marriage or if it is nothing more than a bed that many women frequent. That will determine which battles will be chosen to reach such a goal.

he is emotionally invested = I think about him that he is in love with me = does something for me if I want him to be my man and he also wants only me (and not another women) - he can have many friends if he doesnt want them sexually or he can have 0 female friends, I dont care, important is only "Does he want sex only from me or not?" - he can also help other women (when they trully need it) if he doesnt want sex with them and makes it clear (from the beginning) for them
shows emotions = isnt scared to show how he feels and what he wants in a masculine way (=doesnt overwhelm me with his emotions = he isnt overly emotionall, like more than me or something like a woman)
gives me validation = doesnt bring me down or belittle me with his words and seems interrested when I say something (=listens what I say) and appreciate if I do something for him (if I do more things for him)

So for example when a man isnt needy in sex (=doesnt need sex from me at all), I think he is loving towards me, but then I find out it was because he had many women so he really didnt need more sex = Im disappointed with his personality (that he is vice versa addicted to sex and he doesnt care much with what person). I think he is in love with me usually when he looks at me longer time and does something for me = this in reality probably means he wants sex from me (and isnt in love with me), so I later find out and Im dissapointed. Thats why I was dissapointed more times, because I see the traits as something else. For me caring also means he does something to make money (maybe he does it because he isnt attached), but if he is very attached and wants to cuddle all day and watch serials for a long time many and many days in a row (like my latest ex who told himself "now Im in relationship, so I can finally stop trying at all and I can rest/relax for the rest of my life"), I dont tell myself "I think he is attached to me", I just cant stand to be near him anymore. Caring is also competent = he knows what to do most time.
