That's a lot easier than I expected. My switch controller refuses to turn off after I unplug it though, so I have to remember to turn it off manually afterward.
@@tr984 I have the Pro controller and there is a little physical on/off button on top of the controller next to the usb charging port (looks kinda like a pin hole button). Give it a quick press and it turns the controller off.

Like zr=M zl=N d pad down=k etc… after that I disconnected my controller from my pc and configured the buttons to project 64 on keyboard. And then I connected it again. After that it should work. If it doesn’t, you have to open steam again. Hope it works.

It would be some setting in the app you're using. Most of the time when any controller is connected to PC , the home button is mapped to the Windows button. I would check the app's settings and see if there is a button layout option

You need to be on a PC or Mac not a phone. You'll want to start by googling steam and download the steam launcher from their website. This will make a steam desktop app on you're computer that will launch the steam store. The steam store is basically like a browser for shopping and organizing you're games, you can launch any game you download on the steam store app from there. Enjoy ☺️

Try reconnecting the controller (reconnect it to switch then disconnect and connect back to pc). Also make sure your Windows OS and drivers are up to date, check Win updates by going to settings>Windows update and then scanning, install any new updates that appear. For drivers go to device manager, and under Human Interface Devices it should show the controller (listed as generic controller, gaming controller, Switch Controller or something along those lines), right click and select update drivers, start the scan and install whatever it finds, if nothing is found uninstall the device and restart your system.

So i wanted to connect my Pro Controller to my PC but my PC just cant seem to find it no matter what i do. I literally tried everything but nothing works. My PC doesnt have bluetooth so atm theres only this option. I tried the same thing on my laptop and it worked perfectly without doing anything else before it just worked. ports are fine it works with everything else just not the pro controller. Steam cant recognize the controller either and i tried downloading software but it doesnt seem to work as well. maybe its me not having bluetooth? is it a requirement even if i do have a usb-c? I'm out of ideas i tried everything i could find on the internet

No, unfortunately, there is not. Frankly, I'm really confused as to why he didn't mention this issue in the video because as far as I can tell it's an issue that everyone has with the pro controller and the idea that anyone would be willing to go through the pairing process after every shutdown is just ridiculous. Imo without the ability to reconnect automatically, PC Bluetooth connectivity is completely worthless so the entire video is totally misleading. anyway, yeah it really sucks

make sure you are using a USB-C that can transfer data (not just a charging cable) otherwise windows and steam won't pick it up at all.

If your PC asks for a PinCode when connecting your controller with Bluetooth, enter ''0000'' , that is the default pincode for Bluetooth devices
