Thanks bro I wish you had a tiny section to take the time to go over putting it together but I figured it out. My problem was with when I pulled the two pieces apart I thought I broke something.... Anyways thanks

Thanks to your video was able to open and clean, it can be tricky sometimes but that device is pretty straight forward. I just removed the thumbstick didn't touch the mechanism itself, I guess it was just a bit dusty cause it works again just fine!

One of the first two screws to be undone I stripped immediately. Big fail for me haha

That's because the guy that created the video failed to identify them correctly. They're not Philips, they're JIS, and Philips screw will have a higher than average likelihood of stripping them.

Those are NOT Philips screws! They are JIS screws, Philips has a big chance of stripping them!=
