I made this recipe today and it turned out so delicious! The flavor reminds me a lot of the Wendy’s Frosty. I had to substitute a few ingredients due to availability and it was still a 10/10! Substitutions: -Psyllium husk to granulated chia seeds (double the amount of the recipe) -Almond flour to oat flour (double the amount of the recipe) -Mulberries to Cranberries -Coconut nectar to agave (double the amount of the recipe) -Vanilla powder to imitation vanilla flavor I don’t have a food processor, so I used a regular Vitamix for everything, even the crust. Even though the crust didn’t come out as smooth as Kristina’s, it held together very well. Thank you for this recipe, Kristina!

My version of it was Chocolate Cake Crust: 1 cup raw sunflower seed 1 cup dried (dried plum) prunes 1 cup of dried figs 2 cups pitted dates 1 tablespoon raw cacao 2 teaspoons cinnamon In the food processor. Chocolate Cake Filling: 1 cup cashews 1 cup almond flour 1 cup raw cacao powder 2.5 tablespoons psyllium husk 3 cups water *it is liquidy, but with the last steps it became solid like pudding Chocolate Cake Icing (Drizzle) 1½ to 2 cup water ½ cup raw cacao powder 3-4 cups pitted dates Put in the freezer overnight (8 hours) Then defrost in the fridge for 24 hours Ready to eat the next day (let it is in fridge)
Is it possible that the recipe is wrong ? I just tried making this and the middle part required twice the amount of cashew and almond flour because it just wouldn’t harden. Maybe 4 cups of coconut water is too much?
So if you did not forget to add the psyllium husk, and enough of it. You will have to be patient and out the whole cake in the freezer. Than when completly frizen, pur it in the fridge. So, the next day, it would be perfect. That is what happened with mine. Was really liquidy and after the frozing and defrosting in the fridge, it is perfect. P.s.: my middle mixture was liquid also, but I did not put the 4 cups of water. But again, with the frozing and degrosting and all, it is perfect now.

This looks super yummy. I'm a bit concerned about how many nuts there are in this, then again a small slice should be okay I guess. I wonder if it's possible to freeze any left-overs?
I'm vegan, but not raw. I try to eat mostly whole foods, but I do indulge in processed stuff because my trying to be "perfect" never works, anyway.😩 I also think it doesn't help to associate guilt with eating certain foods. We should strive to eat better, but we're all human and some vegan processed foods are too tasty to ignore.❤️ PS: The cake looks amazing, but the ingredients are certainly not cheap!😩💔 I made vegan snickerdoodles for Christmas and the ingredients are simple, relatively cheap and easy to find. Mulberries and cacao nibs, not so much.😂

My version of it was
Chocolate Cake Crust:

In the video Kristina says 3-4 cups of coconut water… maybe try using less coconut water first 😊
