Could be dirt cheap without plastic minis, which ironically are the best part of the game. Probably why they sold the Pyramid of Horus minis as a painted solo set. :D
I have this one and the sequel. The second one seems more straight forward rules wise and preferred by my kids. I think you have the better one though. Tough to top that boulder.
I had both Chad and Horus until about 3 years ago when I sold them both. Both are good family/party games in that they are simple and undemanding (once you get past the rule books), but I found both to be a little short on enjoyment for me and, at the time, the second hand values were riding high so I sold them. Would I buy them back, no, I don't miss them much, but they are fun games if accepted on their particular merits.
This is one game I regret not picking up, especially since we probably won't see a reprint outside of a possible Kickstarter eventually. My local game store had Pyramid of Horus for a number of years, but I kept passing it up. Oh well...I'm an old coot that doesn't have time for games with too much luck anyway.
I passed on this one back in the day because I've had the original Fireball Island since I was a kid. I'd rather play that than this. It doesn't get any more adventurous than being fire balled by your wife and kids!
A fun series that I wish they'd have done more with. Always thought it would've been fun to devote an entire night to the series, but you can't really do that with two games. As it is, they're really solid fillers at around half an hour each.
I own this game. It's all right. Good hit with my niece. Based on a few plays I think the difficulty needs to be tweaked up a notch. Maybe repeated plays would make that worth considering? Also there's no real incentive to go on the lava.
@@BoardGameBollocks Was binge watching your videos and I kinda agree with something you mention about Gloomhaven. lol. Forget which video it was, I guess the vs. B/gameGeek video. Anyway, if I have watched the video, I wouldn't have purchased a copy of Gloomhaven. The campaign is long, I can't find dedicated friends to sit down every week trying to finish the game together.

A really fun review with a great new intro and music not to mention that I wo7ld love to see you in a playthrough with your family
I'm still loving the "Mr Angry" style you have, it's great!😆 God bless Steve Wright for him!
Whooooaaa, that intro music caught me off guard! :) I love your videos! Thanks for making great content!

Nice intro mate! Maybe combine the stairs and this by, as a final shot, tossing it down the stairs :P
I usually toss in the shower
Ham shank and a piss in the shower so you blast out that urethra, so it's full cum free... no likelihood of cheesy smegma. Bootiful Bernie.
Id love to play some board games with this guys xD He seems like a laugh

It's total bollocks that I'm the first. Great review here. You need a bigger shelf.
You didn’t watch the whole thing…I can tell 😉
Don`t be so rude. There`s nothing wrong with the size of his shelf.
@Albireo8 I’ve been swimming…
@@BoardGameBollocks HAHA. Definitely on minute 7 right now. busted.
New intro is boss, but can you still shout bollocks at the end of it please? haha
Why am I watching this Bollocks? Because it’s the Dog’s Bollocks!
Cool intro!
That intro!
Woah hang on, where's the light switch at the top of the stairs gone?
Moved house
