Hi! I have a malware on my computer that directs me to the firesearch search engine whenever I open a new tab or open google chrome. I did all the steps in this video and got rid of the corrupted file/application, but it still won't let me change my default web browser back to google. Can someone help me please? Thanks in advance. Edit: I realized I forgot to say that I couldn't find an extension that was suspicious. The only ones I have are the standard ones google implements like google spreadsheets and offline editing.

you probably got hacked, I doubt it was your computer but most likely your Google account. Change the password for your Google account and set up 2 step verification, if that doesn’t work make a whole new Google account. If weird stuff still shows up go to Best Buy, AT&T, Sprint, or whatever you use and I’m sure they will be happy to help you

My computer claims “this application cannot be opened” for all apps, there is search hijackers, if no longer reads USB drives, logins are corrupted, (as in refuse to work) chrome is glitched, nothing is working and I have tried everything. I was going to insert two 8 GB USB drives to factory reset my computer after putting anything I want to keep on the drives, and then it wouldn’t work. It worked fine not even a week ago, but I have a feeling it’s the hackers getting mad at me for removing certain things they have put on my computer. What do I do? Anybody? Please? I’m only 14. I don’t know what to do.
I was having trouble with a persistent popup on my MacBook Air and I'm actually shocked this method worked! Lol normally I wouldn't follow a tutorial like this or download malware to resolve the issue but it's the only thing that worked because I couldn't find the file to delete the popup if that makes sense? But yea this tutorial works coming from someone who would rather not do all this but it ended up being worth it!
Second step fixed my problem thank you so much!!! The malware keep restarting on my computer every time I removed it from the activity monitor and it had control of my web browsers making my searches go to Yahoo

yeah i did multiple scans today and my mac is acting so weird, like the mouse has been moving like a little bit by itself without me even using my mouse, again i have a macbook it could just be the sweat that comes onto my trackpad making it move random i did a scan on avast and nothing was detected. i don't know if i have a virus or not

I told them I call them back and went on RUclips and I came across this video..
