i literally cant thank you enough for this video (and previous editions) the first time i watched this was after i had accidentally downloaded adware from a fake adobe site and it totally screwed up my mac. i searched for weeks for tips and tricks to fix it with no success. Found this video, and fixed it completely first time through! Since then i have referred back to this video every year or two to fix my comp and others in my family. my mac is older, from 2013 and still runs pretty fast and im positive i have you to thank for that.

We removed both of those because we want to clean out and optimize the computer. When it comes to macOS, the best way to prevent re-infection is changing user habits, not adding additional software.
Regarding the Profiles icon in system Preferences, I found one but it says it is connected to my iMovie from apple. If I remove it it says some of my systems will not work, It also shows it expires in 2038??? Is this another form of malware disguised? Any help and should I still remove it?

Hello, I did the scans and malware quarantine. I was having trouble with consistently getting the revolving circular rainbow wheel when I did any task. After the scans, I still get the revolving wheel. I barely have anything on my MAC and typically only have one application open while intermittently searching the web. Could you tell me what is causing the revolving wheel still? Thanks for the awesome, detailed video and any advice you can provide.

I will see in a couple days if it still does it but i doubt it cuz i saw the marquis shit on my chrome setting. anyways thank youuuu

You're using an old version of macOS, which Malwarebytes no longer supports. You will need to skip that step and continue on to the next.
