Felicitaciones.

I bet Nate and Conner make less mistakes in Spanish than most English speakers make speaking English, haha. I regularly witness English speakers, writers, bloggers (and especially RUclips commenters, lol) constantly butchering the English language and making tons of grammatical mistakes! Great job guys, I envy your skills and positive attitudes!

I’m a Chicano dude from LA. You guys have motivated me to learn my mother’s tongue. My mom’s family is from Sonora, Mexico. My grandmother didn’t speak conversational English, we spoke in broken English to communicate. My mother came to the US at four years of age. My mother grew up in Boyle Heights LA, she grew up speaking “Spanglish”. My mother ended up going back to school and getting a degree in Spanish and worked as a Spanish/English court interpreter in downtown LA at the criminal court house. You young mijos are motivating me to learn more Spanish. Hijole guey 🕺🕺🕺

Yeah I think watching novellas helps me more learning Spanish because you can have subtitles while watching so it helps you to see how to put together words/ sentences. But I’m glad y’all did a video together !! I saw Conor on TikTok and you on RUclips ! So it’s cool to see y’all together. I always wondered .. I wonder if Nate has seen him on TikTok 😂

This interview has such a wealth of inspiration from both of you, thanks for getting this together. I'm learning a couple of languages other than Spanish, but to me the principles and struggles are the same. I think you're a great host to people here on your channel because you connect with them really quickly, so that made it even more enjoyable. I think the #1 hardest thing for me is comparing myself to other learners, as well as being quite a perfectionist about it, and I know it inhibits our progress and ability to "let go" but I haven't figured out how to do that yet lol. What I do know is that watching content like this of people who I consider experts ( who still may consider themselves imperfect) continuing to find chances to speak, put themselves out there, and be comfortable and laugh it off when they make mistakes, is always very helpful. Again thanks for this inspiration!

As a Hispanic immigrant, I think it is wise that young Americans (Latino descendants and gringuitos) learn Spanish, because in a matter of a couple of decades this country will be just like Canada, with 2 dominant languages. There are already areas in this country, like Hialeah, Florida, where Spanish is the only language spoken in the entire place. So, this will soon become the norm in big part of USA.
