Thanks! So glad you enjoyed it. This one is definitely an information packed video. You can tell how much thought he has put into every aspect of this home's design!
I actually did take a couple of notes for my own (normal size) home. It was and I dare to say that most people would never, ever give the tires a second though. Common sense isn't all that common I guess. ;)

Awesome video and yes fires are just so devastating. With all the insulation and everything shut up I was just wandering if there was any provision for what the air quality and oxygen levels inside would be like?
I was already going through a difficult time when the fires struck and yet my former mother in law was at ground zero at Kangaroo Ground, just around the corner some us would say here in Australia to Kinglake. Her care and remembering her late son from another incident somehow reminded me to live for another day. The next day my doctor is a guest on my local community radio station to discuss symptoms of adhd and then my ah ha moment had arrived. I had no idea that so many people died. Does the government now publish advice on the materials that can/cannot be used for building purposes? Or has the legislation been tightened? The enquiry into Grenfell Tower fire is revealing the materials used that effectively fed the fire. It takes tragedy on a large scale to make effective changes.
My father was, among other things, a professional firefighter. In his footsteps, I am a registered volunteer firefighter. This. Is. Awesome work shown here on so many levels. Design and color choices also spoke to me and I wonder if he's a scorpio, as am I. I was at home instantly, and throughout. I could even taste the herbs.

I agree, but if that were the case, all house and apartment complex prices would be through the roof and we already live in relatively poor economy with prices increasing at a fast rate. Most people wouldn’t be able to afford it
What a great project! Makes me think, that flood proof tiny houses would probably be possible as well. Imagine, your neighborhood gets flooded and your house is just serenely floating along ... Here’s to human imagination!
For sure. I met someone who is designing a tiny house for a flood prone area. It's quite a clever design and is essentially constructed using a pontoon as a foundation so it's able to float. Looking forward to seeing that one completed!
I would just park somewhere out of the flood flow. Something I always consider when I go out while camping. Had 12 inches of rainfall in a day during one holiday. Safe and dry, but had to wait a few days to get out.
Whetu Rangi Well, obviously you would avoid a situation like that, when you’re ‚on the road‘. I was more thinking about more permanent living situations...in flood prone areas (which we will have more and more of, the way it looks). Remember, you would have to actually get someone to tow your house out there in time...with maybe the roads blocked from other people trying to get away...or strong winds/rain going or whatever. And if you always choose to do that, whenever there ‚might‘ possibly be flooding...you’re also looking at considerable cost. Much easier to make your house flood proof to begin with and just stay put. Because if we’re going to give up living anywhere, where natural disasters are an issue, we would have to relocate quite a few people!
Coming from an industrial area, I like the industrial look of this house: The black and red, the chains and pipes, etc. Also, the hot water system is an absolute joy! Simplicity at it's best :)
So now, with Australia very recently having suffered another round of intense and devastating fires... these fire safe construction design principals are more relevant than ever! Who would've thought a youtube channel and its videos can be a reflection of one's personality! You're a really good person Bryce. I don't know you personally, but I'm so, so proud of you.
Hi! I'm from Russia. When I see very small old houses in Siberian region, in countryside of South Ural region I have see that old traditional houses is really close to tiny houses, because lack of wood for stoves in winter time. Tiny houses is not a modern stream, it is history of all of us, life style of thousand years and a lot of generations. Thank you!
Oh my. Did they have no heat in winter? Is there peat there to burn like in Scotland? Was there a barn built into the house for warmth? I've always lived in uninsulated firewood heated houses and have a thing about being warm.....
Bryce is really an intelligent in touched human being. Not bothering asking the cost is vital to this project because protecting and or saving one's life it's priceless. This is one of my favourites especially how he has tested to the best of his ability what his house is capable of withstanding. Peace of mind has no price limit
I've often thought that if my little 440-square-foot home in the California forest burned, I'd replace it with a tiny house -- but this video has given me a wealth of ideas for fireproofing what I already have. One beauty of smallness is that, even if the material might be a little more expensive, you don't need a whole lot of it. I'm excited to plan what my house could become, based on this video. Thank you, and thank Tom, too!
I just found this channel and I’ve been binge watching so many episodes! For some reason they are so calming to me and it’s been a stressful week. I’m so happy to see all the sponsored videos too, congrats!
I think it's calming because when you feel there's chaos, these videos bring peace due to their intelligent design, and simple structures. They're visually attractive too :D Hope you can build one one day
Lisa Chee ugh that’s so true! I’m a first year middle school teacher so stress is all I know currently lol so looking for calm anywhere I can find it has been a mission. I’m definitely interested in building one someday, that would be amazing!
Bryce, I Love every one of your posted videos on Tiny Houses, But in light of the major onslaught of devastating fires that have been sweeping through our state of CA in the US and the difference Tom's design could have on people's lives everywhere is nothing short of a Revolutionary and Humanitarian Build. Bryce, you wrote the words "Welcome to the Tiny Revolution" on Tom's chalkboard and though that was an accurate description of the build, it is so much more. Yes it's Revolutionary and Yes it's a Tiny house, But this design has potential to really matter on the Tiny or Grand scale of builds. When I think of the level of Comfort people can feel in their hearts by utilizing Tom's well thought out design ideas it is overwhelming because people will feel they have done their utmost to keep safe their Loved ones, as well as themselves. I see an on-line workshop, with Tom as the quality control and perhaps an engineer expert on hand to do live stream Q&A. Humanitarian Award for Tom, Please. : )
Well that’s a swell thing to say. I’ve built a few more since this one and I kinda did try some online tutorials but got distracted by more tiny building. What I have done is on Tc Tiny, I’ll get back onto them at some point. From Tom, the dude in the video.
I am here looking for any updates as well. I am sincerely interested in this guy's tiny house and if he (and the house) came through the terrible fires in Australia intact. I hope so.
Kinglake has largely avoided the fires so far this season. Whilst the landscape is dry there have been no incidents in this part of Victoria. Most of the fires in Victoria have been on the extreme eastern parts of the State and the Highlands which are some distance from Kinglake and it's surrounds. Having said that the next month or in fact the next two days could be problematic in this particular area. Still I wouldn't stay inside a place like that irrespective of how well fire proofed it is.
Out of the hundreds of videos I've watched and loved this is the most innovative and one that I love amongst the most! I've only thought this 30-50x but this time, wow! Especially with all the firestorms we have in California. We have fires that are blowtorches! Each year the fires get shockingly/dramatically worse and travel faster!
I'm Californian and I totally agree. I was thinking of the poor people in Paradise when he was talking about how hard it can be to escape in a raging wild fire.
This home is such a great idea. I have several friends who have lost their homes in fires here in California. I wish they would lift the restrictions so people could built homes like this any where a person would like to live. It could save many lives as well as their home. Thanks for sharing this video with so much inspiration.
Wow - what a brilliant, well thought out design and functioning home all the while being fire resistant! This really is a remarkable tiny home and looks as beautiful as it is comfortable. Thanks a lot Bryce, this is another video keeper. Take care my friend. ;)
Hello Bryce! I never miss one of your beautifully, well made videos. THIS one was phenomenal - really gave me a new way at looking at things that I always took for granted before. Definitely a teaching moment. Take care of yourself Bryce!!
A friend of mine had a fire in a flat below his flat. The flames didn't even get close to his apartment but still, the fumes and smoke (not even that much) completely destroyed EVERYTHING in his flat. He had to throw away every single item he owned. All cloth, all interior, everything. Also, the thing that kills people is not getting burned! It's the toxic fumes that you inhale and you die. So "fireproofing" is a waste of time and money as a) it won't save you when inside a large fire as you will suffocate. b) it won't save your tiny house because after being exposed to toxic fumes and smoke it will be inhabitable anyway. Sure, you will be able to salvage the steel plates. Congratulations. Its 100 times more important that you have a quick access fire extinguisher not hidden deep inside your cabinets. Sure they look ugly but when a fire breaks out, 30 seconds less to grab it and use it can make a huge difference. I didn't see a single tiny house (all mode of wood etc) where you see a fire extinguisher ANYWHERE even after they open all their cabinets.
I think the water pulley could be like how they lift beds to the ceiling. The anchors of the house are excellent especially for home in hurricane areas. Tiny Home Developers are going to take his base and really build upon what he has done. Thanks Bryce for finding these people that are moving the tiny house movement forward.
There's only so much you can fireproof a wooden house but we love the attention to details on absolutely everything, the perfectionist in us is doing cartwheels :) We love all the tips; going to take them onboard for our own van design
Freedom Strider the fires melted car engines.. and rims. think about the wood..if it's triple painted.. with the paint he says.. he should also cover with line-X..completely fireproof to a higher temp.
I have to wonder how it would hold up in a wildfire. If it’s truly resistant to a massive wildfire that’s all around it, then man... that an engineering feat.
This is honestly the first tiny home that I would feel safe in.... I love most of the tiny homes on this channel, the idea of using reclaimed materials such as pallet wood, and sleeping lofts, but always analyze them in terms of could I get out if there's a 🔥 ? The fact that he took the time to build and test the design and materials ..... awesome.!
Loved the hammock - great style. Even a fancy herb garden. This guy is a tiny house wizard. He deserves a fireproof gold medal. Thoroughly deserves it😀😀😀😀
Australia is suffering devastating fires right now. Like Tom mentioned, we're still under-prepared, and it drives me crazy. Congrats for highlighting this vitally important aspect of small home safety. I'm moving to the country/bush eventually and my major focus is fireproofing my future home. Over the years I've made many designs and my ideas about design have evolved.......smaller, safer, more energy efficient.....and I'm determined it's still gonna be beautiful. My love and thoughts to all those suffering at the moment.
A couple summers ago here in Utah USA I had random fire sparked in my backyard from an ember that came randomly out of the sky. The firefighters said that embers can travel up to a mile and for all we know it could have been a backyard BBQ that started my poor tree on fire. The 100-year-old tree (named Tree Beard) and a couple pallets caught fire it took out some of my patio furniture and melted part of an aluminum ladder. Luckily that was minimal damage and the internet company had to come out and replace the overhead wire that burned up and Tree Beard survived. What's built into this tiny home is a good reminder for any structure on your property.
Have seen hundreds of these tiny houses. This is the only one I'd call my favorite. Just has a style all its own . It has the look of a city apartment but in the beautiful country. An amalgamation of my two favorite things.brilliant
I have watched SO many videos from this channel. This morning I have realised that I have been subconsciously planning to build a tiny house that would complement my needs! Soon as I get the budget, I'll put a tiny on my parents plot up in the mountains near Black Sea. And I'll definitely invite Bryce to view my tiny house!!!
This guy is a genius. I have so much admiration for people that are humble, people that'll share their knowledge with passion and they also find joy knowing that their knowledge will help others... this channel and Bryce have been an incredible finding, each house and the people that live in them are always a good surprise.
Just wow. Smart guy with personality. Great ideas around fire proofing, very sensible for Victoria and Australia. I cannot believe that he was suggesting that it would be safe to stay inside during a fire. I guess he was suggesting that as an emergency option, if you cannot make it away in time. Great video again, Bryce.
I find myself always saying this after watching your videos, but man, I gotta say it again. This tiny house and its builder are so impressive!!! I agree with you Bryce. I think and hope at least some of the brilliant fire resistant measures he's created will be incorporated into tiny houses in general going forward. High five on another incredible video guys!
I absolutely love this one. Living in a fire prone area (evacuation orders 3 times in 8yrs) and then the town I was born in (Paradise, CA) burning down and the lives lost, this hits home in a big way.
Out of all the houses this one in my opinion is the most efficient and practical. The whole set up makes the most sense and its durable. My favorite tiny house so far.
Early squad salute! :D I got greatly impressed by this build with all it's features to withstand fires. Lots of things here I wouldn't have thought of at all, thank you Tom for sharing your amazing and nice tiny house build. As a Swede I'm waiting for a tiny house that is of grid and self sustained that can stay warm and nice during a cold long winter :D
Absolutely relevant. Many who died in the Camp Fire in California last summer died in their cars trying to out race the fire. Two years ago my cousin raced down a canyon with one way in, flames on both sides, with her 93 year old Mother and her granddaughters in the car. Fires are a deadly force that can not be ignored.
I have friends that lost everything in Santa Rosa and then friends that lost it all in Redding and the Camp Fire so sad , please know that while this place is fire resistant, if this fine home would have been in the path of any of those major fires most everything inside would have been incinerated even with a sprinkler system. This tiny home would survive in some situations but not in conditions like the Camp Fire. I did see many homes with swimming pools that might have made it , if a few decent portable pumps with 1.5 inch lines were used to pump water out of the pools unto the house. If I wanted a more fire resistant home and already had funds to build a pool I would make sure the pool had two partitions one to pump water from and the other to jump into if the fire got so intense as not to be able to breath the air, I would make sure to have a few twin scuba tanks for oxygen and just for extra safety would have a 4 to 6 foot wide slab over the pool of water I was jumping into , the slab would protect anyone from a tree or any other object that was in danger of entering the water.
This man needs to come to Paradise, California and show his technique to the people here that want to live in the forests here. We've had, as the world knows, devastating wildfires past few years. It might not survive all the fires high heat(1000's of degrees) but it might give some people a fighting chance depending on where they and their property are. Hats off to this man's ingenuity and talent!
This guy is a genius!! He's put so much thought into each and every aspect of fire protection. A great example to show that you can actually be motivated by a tragic event to do something great. Instead of brooding over it. This dude is truly inspiring.
This house has amazing fireproof measures. And the interior really feels roomy and nice. It matches his personality and that's great. I could live in that and enjoy the amazing landscape.
i'm a fan of tiny houses because of my environmental concern. I think this is the most inspiring. I'd like to know how it survived last year's wild fires. My home is passive solar but it is built on the edge of national forest and a meadow partially covered with chamisa or rabbit bush. There have been regular fires within a 100 mile radius over the last couple decades. I'm looking for ways to fire-proof my house, and this house will provide a model for improvements over the next couple years. Hopefully I beat the fires that I know are coming.
Really great tour and bunch of brilliant ideas. Awesome job on this tiny house! Side note, he blew my mind when he mentioned sun coming from the north. Something I had never considered about down being down under
Been binge watching your vids since March 15 the day I had to undergo mandatory self isolation, can't get enough of these beautiful tiny house designs. Ima steal some of these designs once this pandemic is over. Ima start designing my house with some of these designs.
I remember those terrible fires well. This is a truly well thought out house and i really like how it is "simply complicated". I really love the block and tackle water heater haha😆
Wow! What an absolutely brilliant episode. So full of great information and solutions. With the changing weather patterns, all our homes are at risk from external events such as fire, quake, cyclones etc.,. Addressing those issues should be obvious because, a quick hitch up and drive away is not always the safest option and can actually slow a retreat to a life threatening level. With regard to the inside of this home, it is probably one of the most _tardis_ like I have seen. Tiny but feels considerably larger than the outside would suggest. Nice.
Love the thought of this we need this to go viral so more lives can be saved Yah blessings to this man good work keep pushing for this to go all around the world.
I like the home security features. You don’t hear much about security with tiny homes and it is definitely something I plan on looking into when I build mine.
Above and beyond the safety measures it is a beautiful and very livable house. I love the layout especially the large sleeping loft that reduces a lot of crawling.
Love the fire resistant tiny house. Very forward thinking for australias sometimes catastrophic fire conditions. Awesome job. Something I would definitely look for.
Ingenious!! You can tell he has put alot of thought into design, practical use of space according to his needs and desires! I thought it would be really dark insigde and have a "heavier" feel to it from the way it looks on the outside,( I do like it though!) so I was pleasantly surprised at how cherry and bright it was! Really unique!! Thank you both for sharing with us!! Peace to All of Us!!;)
Tom is amazing and way beyond innovative! What a fabulous build! Besides its resistance to fire, it is cozy, sensible, and inviting inside. Thank you for another wonderful presentation!
You could also park a regular tiny house in a small field, away from combustible trees and bushes. For extra protection when you know fire is in the area, erect tin sheeting around the house like a fence to protect against embers. A fraction of the cost, if you want extra peace of mind. I'm not trying to insult this very nice fire-resistant house. If money is no object and you don't mind the extra weight, no problem. Just trying to give another quick, cheap and easy option, especially if you already have a tiny house.
Wow, wow, wow! Living in the forest in the Pacific NW, I have thought about fireproof tiny houses a lot. This is certainly and inspiring project. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
At first, I was not sure what to expect after reading the title to this video! After watching, I liked all the innovations that he used to design his home. Even though I do not know what it is like to be affected by a wildfire, I do know what it is like to rebuild after losing a house to a fire. It is not an easy task and I do not wish it on anyone! This is a brilliant design, inside and out. He can keep his house from becoming a casualty, and he has the space inside to be comfortable.
The design and details of this fireproof house are so impressive. However, it made me think I would never want a home in an area that has regular forest fires, especially those that travel at 50 mph!
Awesome design. Nice exterior. Nice exterior ladder. Nice tie downs. Very nice window shutters. Nice decking. Awesome gutter guards, and solar panels. If you inset your electrical plugs, and cover with your fire proofing won't need to repair, and or replace the outlets. Nice dinning area. Great build!!!!
From the first time I clicked in to one of your videos I always made it a habit to watch one to five videos before I sleep. Watching these videos of tiny houses lessens the stress I have for the whole day! Thank goodness I found your channel by destiny! Btw., this video has so many vital information! Very informative! It was so cool! The experiments, it’s so obvious that this house was well thought of!
Attaboy Tom! As a builder, then firefighter, then an inspector...I can only say "Way to Go,Tom! I especially loved that the use of metal piping, brass valves, stainless items and sheet metals created a distinct SteamPunk aura to the structure. Very artistic use of non-combustibles. The only thing I could possibly add is using Nomex blankets as awnings around the sides and ends and possibly the top...All in all, Great job Tom.
It's amazing there is as many tiny homes as people and most are very good. The indoor herb garden is great. Is it movable for sunny days on porch. I love having them in the kitchen..
This is brilliant! One day, years ago, I opened my living room curtains and my idiot neighbor had set our shared townhouse fence on fire. His kids were standing on the deck watching the fire! God alone compelled me to open the curtains. I was lucky, but may not be forever. Great and timely thinking!
That’s not just a fireproof tiny house it’s a panic room capable of surviving an apocalypse event, a shoot out with the local mafia or an assault from an army of rabid tuataras... I really like this place! The metal fire shutters are ingenious. I will definitely be incorporating some of these into mine as I’m in California not that far from the fires we’ve had the past couple of years. Props for the time and money this guy put into this project.
This is completely revolutionary! From the fire resistant design to the brilliant hot water heater! I have never seen a tiny house like this before and I have to say that the design both inside and out is completely mind blowing! These practices for fire resistance I believe should be applied to more houses, whether they be tiny or full sized. Tom should be exceedingly proud of this build! He is a true genius to have thought of all these safety measures and to have still kept the house a perfect balance of functional and stylish. Fantastic work Tom!

I found this channel about a week ago and I'm hooked,I must've easily watched 60 vids so far. Each ones quality 👌
Thanks so much Gemma! Glad you're enjoying our videos.
:D
I've seen the channel before but i'm binge watching a lot of videos for the last week too!
I've been watching these tiny homes videos a lot lately. I would like one, as a lake house.
Girl, same

I agree!!
True. Always wondered what people did for fire proofing.
First thing I thought of were the forest and drought fires we have just had here in the States. Impeccable work,my friend.
Well that’s a swell thing to say. I’ve built a few more since this one and I kinda did try some online tutorials but got distracted by more tiny building. What I have done is on Tc Tiny, I’ll get back onto them at some point. From Tom, the dude in the video.
I wonder how this guy and his house are now, with all the hell out there in Australia.
Cannot find any updates yet.
I am here looking for any updates as well. I am sincerely interested in this guy's tiny house and if he (and the house) came through the terrible fires in Australia intact. I hope so.
I sent Bryce a message about this and he said as far as he knew, no one he knew was affected,,,,
Kinglake has largely avoided the fires so far this season.
@@australiaprisonisland9156 thank you for your time and effort!
I'm so glad to know.
Take care my friend. ;)
Heya Charles! So glad you enjoyed this one mate. Thanks for watching as always. All the best!
I didn't see a single tiny house (all mode of wood etc) where you see a fire extinguisher ANYWHERE even after they open all their cabinets.
also in the worst kind of canopy fire it could well combust from inside out ! - from radiant heat.
Just loving the standing loft areas in the last few videos ! This house was really a standard in itself. Thanks Bryce for sharing this with us !
You're very welcome! Thanks for watching.
I think the water pulley could be like how they lift beds to the ceiling. The anchors of the house are excellent especially for home in hurricane areas. Tiny Home Developers are going to take his base and really build upon what he has done. Thanks Bryce for finding these people that are moving the tiny house movement forward.
There's only so much you can fireproof a wooden house but we love the attention to details on absolutely everything, the perfectionist in us is doing cartwheels :)
We love all the tips; going to take them onboard for our own van design
This
guy is a tiny house wizard. He
deserves a fireproof gold medal.
Thoroughly deserves it😀😀😀😀
I'd put this in the top 5 tiny houses I've seen on this channel.
Hands down, this is clever.
Thanks Nadia!
His place is beautiful and peaceful and well thought out. God bless him
Have seen hundreds of these tiny houses. This is the only one I'd call my favorite. Just has a style all its own . It has the look of a city apartment but in the beautiful country. An amalgamation of my two favorite things.brilliant
Tom gets my vote for optimism invoice and design. So attractive to be survival motivated. And fires presently show the need for this design . Thanks
It's crazy how that tiny house can survive fire!
Justin Y. Are you a tiny house fan as well? Nice.
Cheers Justin! You're a legend!
Justin Y. Yup & modern day brick houses can’t.
glad to see the legend enjoys this channel as well
I love you, Justin! 🍄
Living in a fire prone area (evacuation orders 3 times in 8yrs) and then the town I was born in (Paradise, CA) burning down and the lives lost, this hits home in a big way.
ohemgi! I'm spending 8 hours of my day watching this site!!!
Out of all the houses this one in my opinion is the most efficient and practical. The whole set up makes the most sense and its durable. My favorite tiny house so far.
Early squad salute! :D
I got greatly impressed by this build with all it's features to withstand fires. Lots of things here I wouldn't have thought of at all, thank you Tom for sharing your amazing and nice tiny house build.
As a Swede I'm waiting for a tiny house that is of grid and self sustained that can stay warm and nice during a cold long winter :D
Cheers! So glad you found the information in the video helpful. All the best for your own tiny house journey!
MageThief i would look at using serious exterior insulation and a small masonry heater to retain heat inside!
I hope more people get inspired from this design and build safe tiny home. This could make such a huge difference and save so many lives.
Best home of 2019 i'm calling it now.
A+ interior design. Love that you can stand up straight everywhere. Lots of great ideas and concepts that I’d used
This man needs to come to Paradise, California and show his technique to the people here that want to live in the forests here. We've had, as the world knows, devastating wildfires past few years. It might not survive all the fires high heat(1000's of degrees) but it might give some people a fighting chance depending on where they and their property are. Hats off to this man's ingenuity and talent!
This tiny home is brilliant and Tom is a genius! I love it! Thank you for sharing this with all of us!
Yeah! I thought the water heater was great! So simple. Lots of great ideas in this home. Glad you enjoyed the video Michael! Thanks for watching.
This guy takes tiny house to a whole new level thank you for what you do
You had me at the half-flight staircase; on behalf of very tall people everywhere, thank you!
This guy is amazing. I live in Victoria and I remember the terrible fires that hit so quickly. He is awesome and so are his ideas.
Nice.
what a crock a shit
This is one of the most brilliant tiny houses, I ever watch!. He put a lot of idea. Constructing a house that can survive during wildfire. Amazing!
Love the thought of this we need this to go viral so more lives can be saved Yah blessings to this man good work keep pushing for this to go all around the world.
This build is just facinating. I mean most if not all the tiny houses featured are well thought out but this is just another level.
This was one of the best of your interviews. This is so important and thanks for doing this video and kudos to the builder.
I like the home security features. You don’t hear much about security with tiny homes and it is definitely something I plan on looking into when I build mine.
Above and beyond the safety measures it is a beautiful and very livable house. I love the layout especially the large sleeping loft that reduces a lot of crawling.
His attention to detail is great well done
Brilliant, indeed! Thank you for sharing this home and it's innovative designer, Bryce and Rasa. Cheers, Ardith
Thank-you! Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching. :)
he got hammock inside of his tiny house!!!!!!! i am so jealous! this guy is awesome
Love the fire resistant tiny house. Very forward thinking for australias sometimes catastrophic fire conditions. Awesome job. Something I would definitely look for.
One of the most advanced tiny houses I've seen. Very nice.
Thanks for sharing!
Peace to All of Us!!;)
Wow it is like a little magic box with all the tricks included. What a well planned little unit and certainly a place to feel safe in!
Tom is amazing and way beyond innovative! What a fabulous build! Besides its resistance to fire, it is cozy, sensible, and inviting inside. Thank you for another wonderful presentation!
Absolutely. So much thought was put into this home. Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching.
Amazing. People in portugal living off grid might want to take note lots of forest fires there. What a video! Thanks Bryce and Rasa for all your work.
Thank-you Ruth! :)
Fantastic! All Australian homes should have these fire safety features!
This guy is the Edison of fire-resistant tiny houses. He's so creative to find so many way to safeguard his house in the worst scenario.
Dig a large pond and put a floating tiny in it! Bonus I don't think building regs would apply :)
@@Chahlie But you couldn't have a glass of wine at home, because the Coast Guard could arrest you for operating a watercraft under the influence.
Such a brilliant guy. Besides having a cosy tiny home, first and foremost he puts safety first.
BRILLIANT!!! Super ingeniously done! Love it & hopefully will see more done like his.....& he gets a cut of each one done! Thanks Bryce....! 💝
Tom is a stellar genius. Apart from the fireproofing, that hot water pully system is a great idea
The hammock is something I have always had on my mental list, seems like I m not the only one😁
I smell a infomercial seemed like a huge sales pitch still love the layout love to be apart of the revolution
He's a Genuis! Thank you
Thanks Joey!
I love how cute he is while presenting his house with so much pride
Would like to see this mass-produced. Would like to see escape hatches in the loft.
Very unique design! So awesome!
Glad you like it. :)
The best tiny house layout so far, no compromise, everything is in including beds
*Can you send him to the USA to build my fireproof tiny. I also went through wildfires that spread so quickly and seen the wrath. He is fun to watch.*
The hot water system is brilliant!!!
Fireproof AND zombie proof...Luv it! That herb garden was quite lovely too!!!
I want a tiny house of my own. Great videos love it
That’s not just a fireproof tiny house it’s a panic room capable of surviving an apocalypse event, a shoot out with the local mafia or an assault from an army of rabid tuataras...
I really like this place! The metal fire shutters are ingenious. I will definitely be incorporating some of these into mine as I’m in California not that far from the fires we’ve had the past couple of years.
Props for the time and money this guy put into this project.
