Thank you TEXAS, been a Ranger fan since 71 my Dad would get free tickets to the old Arlington Satdium pack some lunch and we would go see them lose , Dad passed away a month ago. I told dad that I had a feeling this was their year to win it all, Dad replied over my dead body then I replied that may happen, we both laughed and today Dad your words are so true RANGERS 2023 MLB Champions! RIP DAD LOVE you and the RANGERS .....happy tears!
Thats a wild story. My condolences for the loss of your father, he sounds like a man who had a wonderful sense of humor. I'm so happy the Rangers finally did it. Go Rangers!!!!!!
My condolences on your loss of your father but I am sure he is celebrating like crazy after hearing you cheer for the Rangers winning the World Series,I'm so glad since I always wanted the Rangers to get a Pennant after the Houston Astros finally got a Pennant. 😊 Also your dad sounds super awesome since he took you to baseball games, wish I could've experienced that but I live in San Antonio,Tx.
I remember watching the Rangers when they had Pudge Rodriguez, Rusty Greer and Rick Helling. I wanted them to win so bad and they just got clobbered by the Yankees every year! Then they were terrible for so many seasons until the start of the decade. Finally winning a pennant we were all crushed when they lost 2 World Series in a row. They came so close!! Seeing them finally plant the flag at the top of mountain is just so incredible! A childhood dream come true. WORLD CHAMPION TEXAS RANGERS!! WOOOO!!
Jose Canseco, Julio Franco, Steve Buechelle, Ruben Sierra, Nolan Ryan. Way too long. Wish those we lost to old age had been alive to see this day. My Grandpa watched them everyday till he passed in 94....
The only thing that made this World Series victory even sweeter was that I got to share the experience with my son. This is a memory that I will hold and cherish until I breathe my last.
I drove in from Houston the morning of game one and took my dad to game one...nothing was going to stop me from experiencing it with him...same feelings bud!
My mom used to live in Arlington when I was a little kid. Our next door neighbor worked concessions at the park and would always take me to the game with a 2 dollar tickets. That's where it started. Ups downs highs and lows. Blowing division leads and world series gaffes... FINALLY THE RANGERS ARE WORLD CHAMPIONS!!!! HOW SWEET IT IS!
This team just felt right from the beginning of the year. Everybody said it wasn't time. They're not ready. It's too soon. These boys showed them how to get it done.
The Texas Rangers silenced 🔕 the naysayers/media. They worked real hard to make it to and win the World 🌎 Series. Exultation and Golden opportunity finally worked. This year the Texas Rangers destroyed the memories of losing the World 🌎 Series. Being hyped up, the wait is over, welcome to Texas World 🌎 Series.
I have seen many Rangers games since I was 4 yrs old. I have loved each Rangers team with all my heart over the yrs. To watch our team rise and fall at glory's door multiple times has been painful but this time felt different. They blew me away time and time again. ❤💙 Every single one of these guys are a piece to the puzzle that was needed to win. They all played a part and they all gave it their all. I am so proud of our Texas Rangers 🥲 . To the fellas, I want to say thank yall for replacing those heartbreaking memories with a beautiful and incredible one that we will never forget 💙❤
From opening the season by sweeping the NL champion Phillies and the roller coaster that ended in 3 consecutive wins to defeat the NL Champion diamondbacks, this has been a hell of a season. Congrats all, and I genuinely believe this is only the beginning
Never thought that this would be the team to take the Rangers to the promised land, but so glad that I was wrong! Congratulations to the Rangers and Rangers fans everywhere! Especially to Eric Nadel! Thank you for using his call when showing the clinch.
For some of us old timers, we remember the old Arlington Stadium days, and a lot of bad baseball. This team and franchise was on the outside looking in for more than a generation, not even close to part of the discussion about real competitive baseball. And then to finally get there in 2010, 2011 with crushed dreams--particularly game 6 with one out and one strike away twice to win it all, and come up short. Last night was unforgettable. Those Nelson Cruz scars of 2011 just got a little easier to bear. Best night of my sports life for a long suffering fan.
As a Dodger fan I want to sincerely congrats you guys! I only watched for Corey Seager and wanting some sweet revenge against the D Backs. And what a surprising team effort it was.
I HAVE BEEN WAITING 46 YEARS TO CELEBRATE THE TEXAS RANGERS BASEBALL ⚾ TEAM WINNING THE WORLD 🌍 SERIES FOR THE STATE OF TEXAS, ESPECIALLY, FOR THE DALLAS-FORT WORTH AREA!
This Rangers team is the type of team that doesn’t give up. Regardless if one player gets injured. They lose a game or 2. They keep going. What a great story! Congrats and let’s go rangers!
Gave me goosebumps. What a great video encompassing the whole journey. What a ride and one most of us didn't see coming and I was on it from day one to the last. All the years waiting, all the ups and downs and near misses and heartbreaking moments are over. No more chumps.........now it's Champs!
Remember summer games with my dad, those season tickets made my entire childhood! Amazing to see the rangers win it all! Was with my dad and brothers to watch the game and we all cried like babies!
So great to be able to witness a championship for the Rangers. Since I was 10 years old I have been wishing and waiting and at 45 years old I thought I'd never get to see one. Happy for all Rangers fans!!
In August of 2003 I went to thre Bronx to watch Roger Clemens pitch against the Seattle Mariners. Since then Ive only been to one MLB game, on May 16th of this year I saw the Rangers beat the Braves. Dunning held them to 1 run (because Acuña is who he is) and it was an awesome time in a relatively boisterous atmosphere because the fans have bought back in! When you put a winning team on the field suddenly the seats start filling back up, unless you’re Tampa Bay for some reason…This team is going to be in the hunt for Shohei, the core is under contract or pre FA for the next 3 years. Players want to go to a winning team with a winning culture so it is only going to get better from here! I truly believe that!
55 year old lifelong Ranger fan. Thanks for getting it done. Never expected this to happen!!!!! My dad would have been so happy!! GO RANGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
An amazing game with some amazing plays and amazing players...what an amazing thing to see how powerful this come back was...here in Jersey and Philly there was nothing said on our local news about this world series...turns your stomach to see such sour grapes!!!
Reminds me of the year the new jersey devils won the Stanley cup...not even a parade here and no mention on our local news...clearly I'm not a Phillies fan(never was)but at least give congrats on a team that wins.
Thank you, Texas Rangers. I've been a fan since I was a little kid, getting almost obsessive in 2010 and then having my heart crushed in 2011. This year exorcised some demons for sure. World Series champs!
I hadn't paid attention to baseball in a long time. When I saw the Rangers playing in the playoffs while I was out with my friends, I was super surprised and now here they are as World Champions. I went to the games in Arlington whenever I'd fly out from Cali to visit and I often was able to go to the bunker and get a ball from the team and those were great memories. This was my dad's dream to see them win and I'm so happy he got to see them win. I do wish my mom was still here watching in lerson, but I know she's watching from heaven.
It's so good to get this championship for everyone who has ever rooted for this franchise. So many fans have passed on without getting to see this moment with their families. I think of my great uncle who was absolutely obsessed with the Rangers, watching every single game in a season, back in the 80's when I was a kid. He's been gone for a long time but I remember him wearing his Rangers hat in the nursing home right before he left this world. This championship was accomplished via a visionary owner, GM, and manager combined with the outstanding efforts of the players, and the support of fans.
31 years I've been going to games. 1st was when I was 3 months old, got a picture of me in only a diaper sitting on my mom's lap at the OG ballpark. Went to over 800 games with my late father and another 250 after he passed. Boy the tears that flowed wishing I could have experienced this with him. I can now die in peace.
I'm 30, been a diehard fan my whole life. My dad went to the very 1st home game when the Rangers moved to Texas when he was 19. This still doesn't feel real. I'm never gonna get over this team and this playoff run. We're really World Series champs.
This was the best season ever ! Thank you so much Rangers . It was an awsome ride . Todays parade was the icing on the cake . Ill never ever forget this .
Salute to the RANGERS . I liked them back in the day when they had my dudes Vlad Guerrero and Adrian Beltre . again Congrats they did what they suppose to do .
Man so awesome. The kids around Arlington all have no school today to celebrate the win. They know everyone’s not coming to school and going to the big parade😂❤❤❤❤
I sm so excited for them i have been to the old ballpark but not this one maybe in July i will go cuz rhe TEXAS RANGERS are hosting the all star game there
I remember one of my first ranger games, catching a foul ball right behind the plate off of Charlie Hough, must've been like 11 years old at the original Arlington ballpark. It's been such a long wait through the good and the bad. Now this. I was ballistic as the ball got passed Thomas in the 9th inning and then Semiens Home Run almost pushed me to tears, as I knew this game was just about over. The wait was over. Then the final strike. One that will be remembered forever. The wait was worth it.
As glad as I am that the Rangers won, the one thing that did disappoint me was no Gatorade shower for the coach. It’s tradition, right? If a team wins a final championship, then they have earned the right to pour the Gatorade cooler onto the coach!!! No matter. They drenched him in the locker room with champagne, and I think that means more, right?
Eric Nadel's "IT'S OVER! IT'S OVER!" call gets me right in the feels. I've been waiting to hear him call the final out of a WS victory all my life.
Best thing they did was to allow him to come in call the game.
Considering that he missed more than half of the regular season with some issues of his own, this is even more special.
Wish Tom Grieve had been calling it too
Matt Hicks letting him come in and finish the game off was an awesome gesture too!
Chills
The insane disrespect Ranger's fan had to endure from Astros fans for years this feels so damn special. This is incredible humbling.
Don’t have to hear them for a while now it feels good
@@jaleeldean8407oh they're still gonna talk shit bc they have "2" rings
No they don’t. They have 1 ring. 2017 was counterfeit. I don’t care what they say, you ask any baseball fan and the majority would agree with me.
@@bht96 hence why he put "2" in quotation marks
By the time Bochy retires again he might get a couple more rings.
In his first year with the Rangers, Bochy wins the World Series. What a manager!
