A fan from South Korea. Since Chan Ho was pitching in rangers, I was a fan of rangers. Most of Koreans were cheering for Yankees, Pirates, and Padres where Korean players are playing, I never ever lost a hope in Rangers. Happy.. Thank You Rangers, I was not wrong.
Edit: thank you all for such warm welcome and kind comments! Now not only fan of Rangers, but also I became a fan of Texas and Texan! Let's enjoy all together! Wish you all the best from Korea! 🇺🇸 🇰🇷

I only wish my dad could have lived to have seen this. He was a huge Rangers fan ever since day 1 back in 1972, when they first came to my home town of Arlington. He passed away in April of this year, and I’m hoping he is watching and celebrating from up above. This one is for you, dad. 💙

I feel the same way about my mom, she's been gone 8 years now and watched a lot of baseball. The Rangers and the Braves were her favorite teams. Wherever she is, I know she's pleased as punch.

Similiar story, 2 members of my mom's family passed away early this year, big fans, listened to radio Ranger games for decades. Very emotional for her watching them win knowing they werent here to see it with her.

My Dad is unequivocally the reason I love baseball. So many memories practicing with him. He took me to the 2010 ALCS Game 1 & 6, 2011 ALCS Game 2, 2011 WS Game 4. We saw Michael Young’s 2k hit, Beltre’s 3k, playoff games in 2015 & 2016. He was a Dallas Firefighter. In 2015 he was diagnosed with Lung Cancer. I remember him telling me when they lost in 2016 or so “are they ever going to win a World Series before I die?” He passed away in 2019. I’ve never missed him more than when I wished I had someone to talk to about how great Eovaldi was pitching in game 5.

    • @AmericanHearts
      @AmericanHearts 6 месяцев назад

Eovaldi was unbelievable. To face a desperate small-ball team and strand them on the bases inning after inning was incredible. And I'm sure your dad had the best seat in the house. All my best to you.

Same with my dad he died 2 years ago on November 1st, so needless to say them winning the WS on November 1 made this day not quite so sad ..only sad he wasn't here to see it, but he saw it I believe...much love and it feels so good to finally get that one finally..now on to the next one

One hell of a ball club, both of our teams had similar stories, both of us were roads warriors you guys were making comebacks, both of won in the road and forced games 7s u guys scared thr hell out of us the first two games and forced us to play harder, Iknow this hurts for you guys but you have nothing but to be proud of that young team but it almost felt like poetic destiny for our rangers from Creeds Higher anthem during the post season, Gracias historic post season play, Seager playing clutch and winning MVP like he did back in 2020 were the World Series was held in the stadium were he now plays in, bochy coaching this very squad he beat in 2010to know coaching the all star game that coincidentally will be played next year here at Globe Life Park, beating the teams with their respective first letters that spelled ROAD Rays Orioles Astros Dbacks undefeated on the road and erase the back to back heartbreaks of 2010 2011 Hollywood couldn’t have written it any better

All the heartbreak and choking is over and a new standard is being set in Arlington. Im almost 45 and been a fan since the age of 7. I totally forgot about the drop by Hamilton in Oak. When you see and deal with so much heartbreak, some gets forgotten or just thrown out the window.
This was so well done how you made the color slowly creep in as it got to the good part. I don't know if you're a Ranger fan or just someone who put this video together to show appreciation for the Rangers. So, thank you for this. Game 1 was truly the cleanse of the pain from 2011 game 6. Same night, same location* (different stadium but still). 2 runs to tie it in the 9th. Walk off solo in the 11th for the win. Garcia breaking Freese's RBI record. Garcia making the catch Hamilton should have made in 2011. While 4 more games still needed to be played, that game 1 performance really proved that this Rangers team was built to win it. 2011 still hurts but not as much anymore

As a Rangers fan, I recognize how incredible and ridiculous it was that a team with (previously) no rings had such a long list of horrible, almost curse-like moments throughout its entire history. You’d expect it with franchises such as the Red Sox or Cubs, but they all eventually got the job done. The Rangers hadn’t, until November 1st. Over six decades of suffering vanquished in an instant. I love this team.

Been a fan since I was 9 years old. Up until October 2023 I felt that we were cursed and never going to win. And I believed it. When you loose and choke so much, you start to believe that winning is only a dream and nothing more. After the 2022 season I thought “so this is what it was like to be a cubs fan” just just sucking and never winning. Then October 2023 hit and I was like oh we are winning that’s fine we are going to lose like usual. Then we won the alds. “Woah we are like pretty good right now. Still going to loose to the much better and more experienced astors. Had a good season regardless.” Then we won the alcs and I started to believe again. “We are going to the World Series? Is this real.” Then we went up 3-1 and I remembered how the cubs came back from a 3-1 deficit and I had very small part of me thought that we were going to blow that too. Because we always do. Then we won. My god when we won I felt confusion and extreme happiness, all at the same time. “WE WON!!! IS THIS WHAT WINNING FEELS LIKE!! WE FINALLY WON!! WE ARE NO LONGER FAILURES”
Thank you rangers for making feel happy to be a rangers fan again. May we win many more in the future. God bless the rangers.

This is amazing! Love how you put the lows and then the highs together. Great job, as a long-time Rangers fan, I could watch this forever!

As a lifelong Rangers fan, tears were coming down my face 😢 a joyous, emotional, and a sweet sigh of relief winning the World Series ⚾️ All of us Rangers fans have seen the Ups, and all of us have seen the Downs, but this one right here is something we all shall never forget! And especially taking Houston down as well

The first World Series appearance was a thrill that we made it that far for the first time while the second one was absolutely devastating for us diehard fans. I've never been so happy as this year's win!

This team I can say EVERY MEMBER played a crucial part in doesn’t matter if it was only a few games or the entire playoffs they all put in the work & were crucial pieces to the end goal.

Exactly, Duran who fell off, stepped up when we didn't have Seager, Brad Miller from the bench was a great mentor, everyone was important, Will Smith, by the end he couldn't do anything but for the first half he was best reliever

My friends dad passed away last year on Nov 1 and him and his pops would go to rangers games throughout the years as his dad got older and as sickness fell upon him he took his pops to out to games to escape his sickness and this year on his 1 year anniversary of his passing the Rangers Won! 😭😇

For as long as I can remember, at least since I was 4, 2001, as a Rangers fan it was always heartbreaking to see the ups and downs and coming so close and having nothing to really show. I love my Rangers and always will even if they don’t win another title

I'll never not get emotional about the past heartbreaks. And I love that the video started in black and white and slowly the color came in throughout the video

I just want to say that this video was just perfect. The mixing of the music and sound of the game, the way you slowly add the color in when things start going the Rangers' way, the complete arc being told starting in 2010...just masterful. Perhaps the best baseball video I have ever seen, I absolutely love it. Very moving, going from lows to highs (and what highs!) like that really forms the Texas Rangers fans' point of view. It's beautiful! They really owned it and were so impressive down the stretch.
I should say that I am a Giants fan, but damn I love baseball enough that I can be moved by some other team's joy! I am so happy for Bochy too :)

I remember each one of those heartbreaking losses. But this is so sweet to relish in. You can’t erase the the past, but you can have a brighter future. Bochy made a difference, he is the reason for this feeling. He changed the mindset.

As a Nats fan I experienced the same thing in 2019; years of failure finally culminating in our first ring. Cherish it.

This is just so in the feels. I hope the boys understand what they have done for so many us. Those of us in the past, still living, we’ve waited for this. And I am just so thankful they did it. I really hope they understand wha this meant for so may of us.

The day of the game I picked my daughter up from school, she’s in first grade and told her that the rangers have a chance to win tonight and she asked what’ll I do if they won and I said I’ll be super happy and might cry. I cried a few hours later. One of the happiest days of my life.
